The US Faces Ignored Challenges

For the longest time, Bureau of Economic Analysis jobs reports show that industrial and manufacturing jobs–jobs that have high value added and produce good incomes–are declining in the United States. For some time US corporate profits have been based on sending Americans’ jobs to Asia where labor  costs are lower.  The stock market boom was a product of low interest rates, which meant Federal Reserve liquidity, and reduced labor costs from offshoring.  It was not a sign of a vibrant US economy.

Today and for a couple of decades the US exists as a market for foreign made or offshored goods of US corporations.  Americans have been separated from the income associated with the production of the products that they consume.  This is the avenue to Third World Existence.

US corporations, always short-term in their outlook because of quarterly performance bonuses, have destroyed America’s economic future. 

For years I reported the payroll jobs reports, pointing out that there were never any jobs gains of noticeable magnitude in industrial and manufacturing jobs where wages are good.  Year after year US job gains, if they were real, occurred in retail sales, social assistance, waitresses and bar tenders, and government where high value added is not present.

The neoliberal economists, termed correctly “junk economists” by Michael Hudson, could not be bothered to notice the ongoing destruction of the US economy.  Instead the bought-and-paid-for-economists promised that there would be higher paying jobs for US workers who lost their livelihood by the movement of their manufacturing jobs–called “dirty fingernail jobs by neoliberal economists–to Asia......more........

The two biggest Game Changers are the destruction of the well trained Ukrainian professional army and their reserves plus the overwhelming support from Africa and other Third World nations for Russia against NATO Neocolonialists.

The Ukrainian men in that professional army and  and their reserves were either killed or severely wounded.

I have seen videos of men resisting the Ukrainian draft. One threw a rock and hit his commissar in the head. One man saw a nearby beehive and threw it at his commissar. Many others had to be beaten into submission and dragged off to the draft board.

I have seen lots of videos of elderly men and men with serious disabilities, such as, spinal cord injuries and epilepsy drafted into the Ukrainian army and sent to the frontlines. One battalion of almost 900 men was composed entirely of men who were recovering from wounds. They were lightly armed and sent into battle as human sacrifices ahead of a mechanized brigade of 3,000 or so men.

A lot of these men went to the frontlines and followed Russian directions from their cell phones telling them where to surrender. One commander who had been sent from his hospital bed directly to the frontline surrendered with his men. One man drove a truck load of ammunition to the Russian lines where he surrendered. One man in a unit of injured men was sent to a trench where everyone fell asleep. They all surrendered to the Russian soldiers who woke them up!......more........

Chilean-American blogger Gonzalo Lira, arrested by the Ukrainian intelligence in May on charges of pro-Russian sympathies, reappeared online on Monday and told a sordid tale of beatings and extortion while awaiting a show trial.

“I was tortured in two of the four cells I was in—by the other prisoners,” Lira posted in a 25-tweet thread on Monday evening, noting that all the torture in the pre-trial detention center (SIZO) was outsourced to the inmates.

“I got a cracked rib in my first cell, but it wasn’t too bad. The worst stretch was in my fourth cell. From 1pm on June 21 until 7pm the next day—30 hours” two inmates tortured him and at one point “used a toothpick to scratch the whites of my left eye, while asking me if I could still read if I had just one,” Lira wrote.

One of the torturers was allegedly reprimanded for bruising the 55-year-old blogger’s chest, because the instructions were to leave no marks. …more........

Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer has spilled the beans to Congress, telling lawmakers in a closed-door session that Burisma Holdings pressured Hunter Biden in December 2015 to ‘deal with’ a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating the firm for corruption – shortly before then-VP Joe Biden threatened Ukraine with a quid-pro-quo over US aid in exchange for firing said prosecutor.

According to Just the News, Archer also told the House Oversight and Accountability Committee that Hunter Biden was hired to sit on the board of Burisma because his family’s “brand” had value at a time when the firm was facing corruption allegations from not only Ukraine’s own prosecutor general’s office, but the US and Great Britain as well....more.......

News4 out of Dothan, Alabama, reports that a man was shot and killed after he broke into a home on a Saturday afternoon and began assaulting an ex-girlfriend.

The Dothan Police Department reported Charles Kevin Sexton, 55, of nearby Ashford, was hunting for his ex-girlfriend and suspected she was hiding in the house. It turns out he was right. What he didn’t have the right to do was break down several doors in the home in his effort to find her.

Sexton was the passenger in a vehicle and got out of the car upon arriving at the home.

According to another local news station, WDHN, Sexton not only broke down the main door of the residence in the home searching for his ex, but also a second door, forcing his way past the homeowner, who tried to get Sexton to leave. Sexton refused and broke down a third door, behind which he found the woman and began beating her.

The homeowner, who police did not identify, retrieved a handgun and again demanded Sexton stop the assault.

“At that time, the suspect began to charge at the homeowner who then shot him one time in the upper torso. The suspect exited the residence and entered the same vehicle and left. The suspect was dropped off at Southeast Health Emergency Department where he was later pronounced dead,” the DPN reported in a news release.

“After consulting with the Houston County District Attorney, it is not believed there will be any charges against the homeowner for the shooting death of Sexton due to him acting in self-defense (sic) on his own property as well as for the protection of another individual,” the DPD release stated.

In Alabama, as in many states, the use of deadly force is justified in defending yourself or stopping an attack on a third-person where a reasonable fear of death or serious injury is present.

Americans use guns to defend themselves about 1.6 million times every year, usually without having to pull a trigger. That’s not something the Gun Control Industry wants you to know about. Instead, they preach that no one should own a gun, citing a long-ago debunked “stucy” claiming that having a firearm in the home increases the likelihood of your being shot.

If given their way, they’d prefer that people like the homeowner and the ex in this incident remain unarmed and vulnerable. They’d rather see them become victims and not have the ability to defend themselves.
