 in the land of 'free enterprise' you must be careful not to offend communities of color, whatever the fuck that means;

As often happens with large retail chains of any kind, Walgreens decided to close three Boston locations this week. The pharmacy chain's explanation for the closures implied that it did not make financial sense for the company to keep the locations open, blaming the "dynamics of the local market and changes in the buying habits of our patients."

Now, however, the Boston city council has responded to complaints from local residents by attempting to bully Walgreens into keeping the three locations open, whether they are profitable or not. Two members of the Boston City Council have filed a resolution that would block Walgreens from opening any new locations in the city anywhere unless they halt the closure of these three stores.

"We can use whatever leverage we have, which is our zoning code, and leverage that to get them to make sure they come back to the table," said city council member Brian Worrell, who authored the resolution.

The city council also sent a letter detailing their threats and demands to Walgreens headquarters. In a statement, city council member Tania Fernandes Anderson said, "For too long, corporate businesses have treated Black, Brown and working class communities essentially as though we are second class citizens, and what is occurring here seems to be a present day manifestation of the embedded economic inequality that we still suffer from."

Showing no indication that the council understands that the purpose of a retail location is to make profit, Worrell also suggested that Walgreens should operate to provide a public service whether it makes money or not: "We are talking about predominantly working-class Black and brown communities that relied on Walgreens for many, many years. Now we are stripping a major resource away from them. We are talking about places where communities have got their food, their medication, their COVID vaccines."

A spokesperson for Walgreens indicated to WBZ-TV that the company is reviewing the council's threats and preparing a response..........http://www.yourdestinationnow.com/2022/11/walgreens-decided-to-close-three.html

 so what are you gonna do about is what i wanna know. they're betting you'll keep silent and well behaved;

“Nobody wants to believe the system is so corrupted because nobody wants to admit that we no longer have a representative government. We don’t want to feel powerless to make changes. We don’t want to believe the bad guys are in control. I can understand the need to cope with this by accepting lies because it’s far easier than staring into the abyss of reality. If our elections are rigged, what can we possibly do to fix it? The people who could fix it are those who are in control, and fixing it means they would lose their own ability to remain in control. Therefore, they won’t fix it.

We saw what happens when a state addresses voter fraud issues with Florida. It was not exactly indicative of what the rest of the nation could experience if voter fraud was solved because Florida had the added benefit of attracting hundreds of thousands of extra Republicans over the last couple of years. But it’s telling that since the powers-that-be had given up on Florida, the results far exceeded what was projected. I’m not suggesting that people like Doug Mastriano, Kari Lake, or Lee Zeldin would have won their races by 20-points if it weren’t for voter fraud, but I am certain they would have won by double-digits.

Many are saying this is Donald Trump’s fault. Those who are saying that and jumping on the DeSantis bandwagon are falling into a trap. That’s NOT to say I’m against DeSantis or for Trump for 2024. I like them both and have challenges with both of them as well. But the rising anti-Trump sentiment is being manufactured by the powers-that-be, and it has very little to do with Trump himself.

The powers-that-be didn’t just see this election as a way to salvage Democrat power. The bigger fish that they wanted to fry was us. MAGA Republicans, America First patriots, Trump supporters… whatever you want to label those who supported people like Mastriano, Lake, Don Bolduc, Tiffany Smiley, and other America First candidates were the real targets. They want us splintered. They want the GOP Establishment to continue to manage our side of the political fence for the Uniparty Swamp.

This election was mostly about shutting us up and making us fall in line with Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, and the rest of the GOPe power brokers. This isn’t about Republican versus Democrat. This was about protecting the powers-that-be, the globalist elite cabal that manages the Biden-Harris regime and the Uniparty Swamp.

The problem I didn’t anticipate, this problem that is manifesting very clearly now, is that I thought they’d have to stick their necks out too far to steal these elections. They did stick their necks out even further than they did in 2020, but my fatal mistake was not realizing there would be so few willing to call them out for it. I didn’t realize until now that the false narratives were already pre-planned. They are busy herding the vast majority of Republicans into an anti-Trump, pro-DeSantis election post-mortem debate and far too many are willingly being led to that ideological slaughter.”...........https://eatgrueldog.wordpress.com/2022/11/09/what-now/

 pennsylvania's new senator has a few thoughts for you;

 the wef/dumocorps want you to go green but what do you do when this is your reality;

 'our' cultural revolution is proceeding just as mao would have it go, and there's no end in sight. i have no stand/opinion on ann coulter but do think that there would be an improvement in the temperature of the nation if actual free speech was really permitted;

This week, we saw another incident of protesters shutting down an event to prevent others from hearing opposing views. At an event with commentator and author Ann Coulter, one protester yelled “Your words are violence.” It is the latest example of how some on the left are treating free speech as harm on college campuses. Unlike many other incidents, however, Cornell has stood by the right of the student group, Network of Enlightened Women, to hold the event and pledged to hold students accountable for the cancellation of the speech.

Students and faculty previously pressured Cornell to cancel Coulter as someone who engages in “hate speech” and declared her speaking on campus as harmful. Cornell stood with free speech. However, the event lasted only 30 minutes until protesters succeeded in shouting down Coulter.

One man is shown screaming “we don’t want you to be here, your words are violence... They are threats, you cannot be speaking here. We don’t want your ideas here! Leave! Leave! Your words are violence! Your words are violence!”Two students chanted “no KKK no fascist USA” as they are escorted out by security. Others blared circus music and blew whistles......more..........

 this essay by caitlin shows you what the ruling class think of you, and yet you still believe 'voting' will make changes in your favor;

The Atlantic, which is owned by billionaire Laurene Powell Jobs and run by neoconservative war propagandist Jeffrey Goldberg, has published a pair of articles that are appalling even by its own standards.

Virulent Russiagater Anne Applebaum argues in “Fear of Nuclear War Has Warped the West’s Ukraine Strategy” that the US and its allies should escalate against Russia with full confidence that Putin won’t respond with nuclear weapons.

“Here is the only thing we know: As long as Putin believes that the use of nuclear weapons won’t win the war—as long as he believes that to do so would call down an unprecedented international and Western response, perhaps including the destruction of his navy, of his communications system, of his economic model—then he won’t use them,” Applebaum writes.........more......

 i'm amazed at the boldness of those who have been involved in the recent 'selection' frauds as is this writer;

The predicted red wave in the 2022 midterm elections turned out to be a mere splash. Media analysts will read the tea leaves and decipher what this means about GOP messaging and other apparently insightful lessons to be learned. This is all BS. This election was possibly more fraudulent than the 2020 election.

In 2020 Trump likely won by 10-12 million votes or more. I make that assertion based on the number of votes Trump received in his reelection campaign above the number of votes that Obama received, the number of votes Clinton was awarded, and the alleged attribution of voted to Biden. Biden allegedly received 81 million votes, Obama received 69 million, and Trump supposedly only 74 million. I have yet to find anyone to explain how Biden could possibly receive more votes than Obama while hiding in his basement. Biden probably received less votes than Hillary Clinton which was about 65 million. In Florida, Trump actually received 1.1 million more votes than DeSantis in his recent landslide victory. Nationwide, Trump received more votes than any sitting president in history.

Currently, the economy is dismal, inflation out of control, and 75% of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction. In addition to these salient facts, for the past two and half years, Democrat governors have been acting like total fascists. Yet, we are to believe that Democrats gained two governor’s seats and one senate seat? This defies all logic and reason and is total BS.

Consider the case of Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis who won with almost 60% of the vote, a very similar percentage to the Republican governor of Wyoming in his victory. Wyoming is a very Republican state. Florida Republicans are not as conservative or libertarian as Wyoming. Florida Republicans are generally more moderate, although this is clearly changing since Trump and DeSantis.

Why did DeSantis win so big?..........more.......
