The state of Texas and its taxpayers could be on the hook for paying up to US$117 billion for the cleaning-up of abandoned wells as a growing number of U.S. oil companies go bust, and the guarantees for paying for the cleanup cover only 1 percent of estimated costs, a report by climate finance think-tank Carbon Tracker showed on Thursday.  

U.S. oil and gas producing states and taxpayers may have to pay in total as much as US$280 billion in cleanup costs, with Texas leading with US$117 billion, followed by Oklahoma with US$31 billion and Pennsylvania with US$15 billion, Carbon Tracker’s report says.

The US$280-billion estimate is for 2.6 million unplugged onshore oil and gas wells in the United States, while there may be another estimated 1.2 million undocumented onshore wells, Carbon Tracker said.

While operators are obliged to pay for the cleanup of oil and gas wells, the so-called surety bonds - the guarantee that the operator will indeed pay those costs - currently cover around 1 percent of the closure costs for plugging and cleanup of the wells, the think-tank said.

The growing number of defaults in the U.S. shale patch may put taxpayers “at risk of picking up costs in excess of available bonds,” Carbon Tracker said.

The lower-for-longer oil prices and the high debt levels of many U.S. oil companies resulted in as many as 16 filings for bankruptcy protection in the shale patch in July alone, bringing the total since the price crash to 50, the latest bankruptcy monitoring data from law firm Haynes and Boone showed at the end of August.

Kizzee was shot in the back while running away unarmed.  Police saw no weapon.  Kizzee had been shot several times before he even hit the ground, making the police story outrageous.

The idea that someone shot in the back, blown over to his side could spin around in a fraction of a second, go invisible to an unexpected HD camera on a nearby home (Claud Rains?) and reach for a gun no one has seen…

Then he is shot 14 more times, even from the front.

This is what the evidence shows, the only evidence, this video.  There is no evidence of a weapon seen, no body cams by police, no cams on cars, just lots and lots of shooting at someone escaping police who stopped him for absolutely no reason at all.

Would an audio recording show why Kizzee was running for his life?  Was he told he was going to be murdered?

This is the best explanation of what we see here.

If police wanted to make their case, they would have worn cameras and recorded audio.  Instead, they are caught by a neighbor’s surveillance camera.

Robbins, IL — Early on a Sunday morning back in November 2018, a tragedy took place in Illinois after a hero security guard stopped what was quickly becoming a deadly mass shooting. Instead of being honored for his heroism, he would be shot by police moments later. Jemel Roberson, 26, was working security at Manny’s Blue Room when his heroism got him killed. Now, two years after the Roberson’s tragedy has fallen out of the news cycle, police announced that the cop who killed him, will not face charges.

“After an extensive and thorough review of the police-involved shooting resulting in the 2018 death of Jemel Roberson, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office (CCSAO) has concluded that the totality of the evidence is insufficient to support criminal charges against Midlothian Police Officer Ian Covey,” the news release from the attorney’s office states.

Beatrice Roberson, Jemel Roberson’s mother, said she was “devastated” by the decision and that State’s Attorney Kim Foxx let her family down by not bringing charges against Covey.

“I will not stop fighting for Jemel as long as I live,” she said at a news conference. “As long as I live, I will be trying to get justice that he deserves. My family and I will never be able to put this behind us.”

This decision comes amid mass protests across the country over cops killing people. While many of those people were killed while committing crimes, Roberson was not only innocent but he was also a hero.

“I am acutely aware in this age of civil unrest that police-involved shootings are viewed under a microscope, as they very well should be,” Foxx said in a statement. “The death of Jemel Roberson is tragically heartbreaking, and while it might feel to some people like justice was not served here, I have both an ethical and legal obligation to make charging decisions based on the law and the evidence.”.......read more........

On NPR yesterday afternoon (Oct. 2) a former Obama regime official argued for a 90% lockdown of the economy for 6 weeks and mandatory masks.  He said this was the only way we can save ourselves from mass deaths that will wreck the economy worse than the 90% lockdown would.

Keep in mind that the masks people are wearing are not N95 masks and do not prevent inhalation and exhalation of the virus.  

Keep in mind that the rise in cases is the result of more testing with a test that produces false positives.  

Authorities know both of these facts.

The question is:  Why are authorities and presstitutes spreading this bogus information?  Why do they want to close down the economy?  Why do they want to force people to wear masks that do not protect?

Are the answers that they want to defeat Trump by crashing the economy, want to make us more fearful so that we accept a vaccine, and want to train the public to follow orders?

Why is the public so uninformed that they are so easily subject to manipulation?
