the trump mid-east 'peace plan' is a joke, at best, and here you can discover some of the nature of this beast;

President Donald Trump’s attempt to sell the Brooklyn Bridge to the Palestinians – using Gulf Arab oil money – has so far been a resounding failure, as was widely predicted.
The so-called ‘Deal of the Century’ turned out to be a shabby swindle.
I watched Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, deliver the first part of his big deal to a bunch of tame Arab oil monarchs and assorted hangers-on.  Kushner looked like a nervous sophomore taking a tough oral exam.  There were no Palestinians or Israelis present.  But Israel’s powerful American backers were watching from the sidelines as their ‘deal’ was enunciated. Trump’s offer was pure New York City real estate hipper dipper.  He would get the rich Gulf Arab states, all of them American protectorates, to offer some $60 billion in payments, credits, loans and other financial inducements to the Palestinian Authority – but nothing to the democratically elected Hamas government in the open-air prison of Gaza that holds two million Palestinian refugees.
The $60 million would be a payoff to the US-managed Palestinian leadership of Mohammed Abbas, another US pawn, to give up the PLO’s rights to most of the West Bank so Israel can annex it, as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu just vowed.  This follows Israel’s annexation of Syria’s Golan Heights and growing US recognition of Israel’s claim to all of Jerusalem.
In other words, Israel hopes to gain most or all of the West Bank and Jerusalem by getting the rich but dim Gulf Arabs and Saudi Arabia to pay the proposed bribe money.  The US and Israel will more or less divvy up the central Mideast.  Just this week, the director of Israel’s Mossad said that his spy agency had played a key role in bringing the Arab oil monarchs into alliance with Israel........https://www.lewrockwell.com/2019/07/eric-margolis/have-i-got-a-deal-for-you/
america, the empire, doesn't like to admit its true nature;

President Trump is being criticized for surrounding himself with tanks, armored vehicles, flyovers, and generals and admirals during his Fourth of July celebration at the Lincoln Memorial. Critics say that it was unseemly for the president to be showing off the federal government’s military process on Independence Day. Some said it conjured up images of the Soviet Union, when that communist regime would showcase its tanks and military hardware in parades in Moscow’s Red Square.
But the fact is that America is a military nation. As Trump pointed out in his Independence Day address, the United States has the most powerful military in history, one that can pulverize any other nation on earth. His critics don’t have any problem with that. They just don’t want Trump to highlight it.
Of course, it wasn’t always that way. In extolling America’s position as a military nation, Trump left out something important in his talk: America did not start out as a military nation. In fact, quite the contrary. America was founded as a limited-government republic, not a military nation.
In fact, the people who founded the United States abhorred the concept of a military nation. That’s one of the reasons they chose to revolt against their own government, which was a military nation, one whose officials extolled its military prowess, just as Trump does today with America.
It’s easy to think of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence as great Americans. They weren’t. The reason they weren’t was that they weren’t Americans. They were British citizens. They were every bit as British as Americans today are Americans...........https://www.fff.org/2019/07/05/trump-reminds-us-that-america-is-a-military-nation/
a brief exploration of the 'exceptional nation' is presented here as a summary of the new book being presented, with video of noam chomsky as well;

Roberto Sirvent and Danny Haiphong have explored the albatross of myths, legends, lies and damn lies around America’s neck in their book American Exceptionalism and American Innocence: A People’s History of Fake News—From the Revolutionary War to the War on Terror.  They look into America’s closet of historical secrets and expose them.  They knock down the stuff that is just made up.  The authors explain why the US habitually denies its own bad behavior, and projects it onto others.
Over the centuries the US has developed an illusion of grandeur.  It imagines itself as indispensable and exceptional, unlike any nation that has ever existed.
Exceptionalism means not having to say you are sorry or pay for your mistakes.  Being exceptional means you are the law.  You are the policeman, the judge, the jury and the executioner.
To enforce its exceptionalism the US has built a mighty military.  The price for its grandiose military has been the neglect of the American people.  The US is addicted to militarism and violence.  From its founding, the US was a violent country.  It used violence to acquire and occupy the land, and to gain independence from Great Britain.  The US maintained that God was on its side, and it was innocence of any wrongdoing.  The US just made it up that it was Manifest Destiny that it should become an empire.  Americans saw themselves as being on a civilizing mission for God.
The Myth of Manifest Destiny
Movies glorifying and romanticizing the westward expansion of the US were an early theme of motion pictures.  One of the first silent movies was a Western produced in 1903:  “The Great Train Robbery”.  Right from the beginning motion pictures created false narratives and myths.
A 1915 silent move spectacle was  The Birth of a Nation, which falsely recasts the Civil War and the Reconstruction Era.  It portrays the South as a victim, depicts blacks as depraved, and the Ku Klux Klan as a heroic protector of America’s virginity.  After featuring the movie in the White House, President Woodrow Wilson said:
“It is like writing history with lightning. And my only regret is that it is all so terribly true.”...........https://www.globalresearch.ca/american-exceptionalism-and-american-innocence/5682770
pcr writes here about the 911 truth movement, and supports them with some evidence;

Author’s Note
This coming September 2019 it will have been 18 years since 9/11 and we still do not have from the US government a believable explanation of the event.
9/11 was the necessary “new Pearl Harbor” for the neoconservatives to launch their wars on the Muslim Middle East and North Africa and to put in place an American police state. These are egregious consequences from an event for which we have no believable official explanation.
I have written about this anomaly on many occasions over the many years.  The following text was first published by Global Research in 2011
Paul Craig Roberts, July 5, 2019

The short answer to the question in the title is no.
The 9/11 truth critics have nothing but ad hominem arguments.
Let’s examine the case against “the truthers” presented by Ted Rall, Ann Barnhardt, and Alexander Cockburn.
But first let’s define who “the truthers” are.
The Internet has made it possible for anyone to have a web site and to rant and speculate to their heart’s content. There are a large number of “9/11 conspiracy theorists”.
Many on both sides of the issue are equally ignorant. Neither side has any shame about demonstrating ignorance.
Both sides of the issue have conspiracy theories.........https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-critics-of-9-11-truth-do-they-have-a-case/26520

how they rule the world;

Opinion: Israeli author and analyst Gilad Atzmon discusses Penguin’s decision to censor a book because of its information on the Rothschild dynasty.

By Gilad Atzmon, reposted from his blog
Penguin announced this week that in response to claims of ‘antisemitism’ it has stopped printing Col. Pedro Baños’ best selling book, “How They Rule the World.
The scandal erupted when it was revealed that passages in the original Spanish edition of the book related to the Rothschild dynasty were omitted from the Penguin Random House English translation. The meaning of this deletion is in itself devastating. It suggests that Penguin attempted to kosherize a book by editing and deleting sections so it would not offend Jewish sensitivities.
The publisher initially rejected allegations that the book which claims to reveal “the 22 secret strategies of global power,” is antisemitic. But after continued pressure from various organisations including the Campaign Against Antisemitism, Penguin commissioned an “external review” led by Rabbi Julia Neuberger.
The Jewish Chronicle (JC) ‘reveals’ that Col. Baños’ original Spanish edition makes several references to the Rothschild family, including a passage accusing the banking family of holding “gigantic” economic power and influence which has “led to multiple speculations about their capacity to intervene in key global decisions”. Needless to say, this an historical description of the family and its role in history............https://israelpalestinenews.org/gilad-atzmon-penguin-rothschild-and-zionist-pressure/
the true situation in israel/palestine is continually obfuscated by the joos and here is an example of how that occurs;

Ann Arbor (Informed Comment) – Hagar Shezaf at the Israeli newspaper of record, Haaretz [“The Land”], reveals that a secretive Israeli agency has been systematically going through the country’s archives, including local repositories, and removing and classifying documents having to do with repressive and embarrassing Israeli actions toward Palestinians and Palestinian-Israelis.
One such disappeared document from 1948, a second copy of which nevertheless was located by Israeli researchers, estimates that 70 percentof the 720,000 Palestinians (out of 1.2 million) expelled from their homes in 1947-49 by were kicked out by Zionist militias acting on behalf of the 500,000 Jewish settlers brought in by the British colonialists. This document was summarized by historian Benny Morris in a 1986 journal article but the force of Morris’s argument was subsequently blunted because researchers could no longer see the same primary source on which he based himself.

its fun watching 'consumers' breaking out in apoplexy over straw men waved at them by political animals that don't know what they speak of, and here is some of that displayed/explained;

There are two kinds of ignoramuses in this world:
A. The ignoramuses who don’t know what is going on in this world, and who know that they don’t know. This group is relatively harmless and they are not the great wrong-doers of this world, because they know that they don’t know a great many things, and so they keep their mouths shut.
B. The ignoramuses who don’t know what is going on in this world, but who don’t know that they don’t know. This group is terribly dangerous, as in the old saying: “Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread.”
I am sorry to have to place President of the US of A, Donald J. Trump, in this second group – for the second time.
The first time was when Mr. Trump decided to “MAGA” – “Make America Great Again” by instituting Tariffs on certain imports to the US.
He did not realize – and still doesn’t understand – that the US has enjoyed a free ride of magnificent proportions, because since the end of WW 2, the US Dollar has had the enviable position of Reserve Currency of the World.
This means that the whole world wants to sell goods of all sorts to the US, in order to get precious Dollars for their Reserves. So the US gets an unlimited amount of goods from all the world, in exchange for Dollars which are essentially nothing but numbers, which cost the Fed and its banking system nothing to produce.
So instituting Tariffs on imports is an attack on the system whereby the US sucks up production from the whole world, in exchange for – nothing.
That’s Trump’s Error No. 1
But now we have Error No. 2 coming up.
Mr. Trump says that if other countries are devaluing their currencies, in order to sell more to the US, that this is wrong, and that therefore, the US should retaliate by devaluing the Dollar. Trump evidently thinks that by devaluing the Dollar, he will get a result which he regards as good:
Trump thinks that it would be more expensive for Americans to purchase foreign goods, if the Dollar were worth less; Trump thinks this would reduce the perpetual US Trade Deficit, which he detests.
However, “devaluing the US Dollar”  poses a problem that has no solution: the rest of the world can devalue their currencies against the Dollar, their Reserve Currency. But against what would the US devalue the Dollar? There is nothing against which the US could devalue the Dollar, because it is the final, ultimate currency of the world.
Conclusion: President of the US of A, Donald J. Trump is an ignoramus who doesn't know he doesn't know.
If Donald J. Trump were a wise man, and not an ignoramus, he would know that the only path to a harmonious world, where all Trade is Balanced and there are no Trade Deficits possible, is a world working with gold as money.
And that would truly "MAGA" - Make America Great Again...........http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/07.19/maga.html
