On an August night in 2016, Russell Orlando Courtier got into a
dispute with Larnell Bruce Jr. in the parking lot of a convenience store
in Oregon. Authorities are unsure what caused the dispute or why it
escalated into a physical escalation. All they know is it ended when
Courtier drove over a machete wielding Bruce with his Jeep. Courtier was
eventually arrested and convicted of first degree murder. He was just
sentenced to life in prison, which in Oregon means he gets out in 30
years, assuming good behavior.
Now, according to the media,
the attack was a hate crime. Russell Orlando Courtier is a 40-year old
white man and Larnell Bruce Jr. was a 19-year old black man, who is
dutifully described by the media as a teenager. They want you to get the
impression that he was an innocent 13-year old out riding his bike when
he was viciously attacked by this white supremacist. Larnell Bruce Jr.
is Emmett Till, another unfortunate black body destroyed by a society
that was built on and continues to promote white supremacy.
In realty Larnell Bruce Jr. was a hyper-violent serial criminal, with
16 convictions, including one for beating a child with a skateboard. At
just 19-years old, Larnell Bruce Jr. was well on his way to either life
in a cage or the local cemetery. In fairness, none of his crimes
warranted him getting killed by another lunatic in a parking lot, but
the arc of his life was leading to this end from the day he was born.
The fact is, some people are born bad and they come to bad ends. That

What’s been in the news lately? We had the tumultuous midterm elections, the wild Mueller investigation and that whole shindig, and whatever Trump last said on camera. Can people even remember what our last conflict in the Middle East was? Yemen, I think. But that was months ago, so I think it’s time for another war in the Middle East.
I know. People are always saying, “Shouldn’t you finish the wars you already have first?” But there’s no excitement in that. Everyone is only interested in these things when they first start up. We get to wring our hands about refugees and worry for a while about international affairs — it makes us all feel real worldly. But soon those conflicts go to page 17 in the newspapers and all of our conflicts in the Middle East sit around like a bunch of half-finished craft projects.
So I say we get a new war. Get everyone interested again. Where
should we have the war? That’s hard to say. But that’s the great thing
about the Middle East. There’s a reason to have a war with just about
everyone there. Right now, people are really starting to sour on our
relationship with Saudi Arabia. That one seems a bit too ambitious right
now — though Trump would have to tweet something pretty crazy to bump
that one out of the news. I think a better idea would be Iran; everyone
is into ’80s retro stuff right now, so a conflict with Iran should be
pretty popular.
So who’s in? New war in the Middle East? Unless you’re in the military, you don’t actually have to do anything. Just give us the thumbs up and watch the fun on the news until you get bored of it or there’s a new Marvel movie.

Huddled under the wing of Vice President Dick Cheney, they plotted to attack and destroy Israel’s enemies. Neocon ideologues strategized and published papers on these manufactured wars, most notably a paper presented to then Israeli president Bibi Netanyahu. It called for taking out Iraq and Syria. Israeli academics have written on this subject for decades. The nation’s early leaders engineered border provocations and false flag attacks (the Lavon Affair) to destabilize the region. Southern Lebanon is considered a valuable asset primarily for its water resources (e.g. “Operation Litani”) and the Golan Heights in Syria was occupied for its strategic value.
Israel, of course, is unable to destroy its enemies, so that task is left to America and its neocons. The American people were lied into a war on Iraq. Both Israel and the US knew Saddam Hussein didn’t have the capability to threaten Israel militarily. Beyond its oil, Iraq held little strategic value for the US and its corporatocracy. However, it did have the ability to cause trouble, especially in regard to the Palestinians.
Syria’s relationship with its Lebanese neighbor and its stubborn refusal to simply handover the occupied Golan to the Israelis is also a problem. It was one of several objectives behind a manufactured color revolution in Syria under the aegis of the “Arab Spring,” an objective that has thus far resulted in the murder of around 600,000 Syrians.
The Bush era neocons (including John Bolton, now national security adviser, and Elliot Abrams, a key Bush coconspirator) had an ambitious laundry list of nations to be destroyed—Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and importantly Iran, the only serious challenger to Israel. The Obama administration added Libya and began covert operations in Africa.

“nation-building” and was a populist “America First” noninterventionist.

We have President Trump tweeting and getting jiggy with the Saudi’s in his promise-breaking veto of Congress’s hard-won vote to end the US support, munitions, supplies and military leadership in the Saudi decimation of Yemen.
I mean after 4 years, haven’t the profits already been made? Congress thought so, and in a rare move, actually did their job. Trump’s advisors, Pompous and Butthead, apparently think otherwise.
The US-Saudi hand-in-hand, hand-in-glove, and head-up-ass relationship is embarrassing, shameful and evil. It stinks of old colonialism and greed, with a whiff of wobbly wicked petrodollar. It is about murder, and the cover-up of murder.

Today (April 17) I heard a NPR “news” report that desribed the democratically elected president of Venezuela as “the Venezuelan dictator Maduro.” By repeating over and over that a democratically elected president is a dictator, the presstitutes create that image of Maduro in the minds of vast numbers of peoples who know nothing about Venezuela and had never heard of Maduro until he is dropped on them as “dictator.”
Nicolas Maduro Moros was elected president of Venezuela in 2013 and again in 2018. Previously he served as vice president and foreign minister, and he was elected to the National Assembly in 2000. Despite Washington’s propaganda campaign against him and Washington’s attempt to instigate violent street protests and Maduro’s overthrow by the Venezuelan military, whose leaders have been offered large sums of money, Maduro has the overwhelming support of the people, and the military has not moved against him.
What is going on is that American oil companies want to recover their control over the revenue streams from Venezuela’s vast oil reserves. Under the Bolivarian Revolution of Chavez, continued by Maduro, the oil revenues instead of departing the country have been used to reduce poverty and raise literacy inside Venezuela.
The opposition to Maduro inside Venezuela comes from the elites who have been traditionally allied with Washington in the looting of the country. Americans are increasingly living in fear of the opposing political party. While the elites laugh and continue to enslave the populace even further because of this fear, Americans increasingly embrace their chains while asking them to be shortened, and all while dehumanizing those on a different plantation.
The fact is, none of us are free. We are all slaves to the same master – the political elites. The only way to be free is to accept it and attempt to free others in the process. So far, the government has not had to put literal chains on anyone because most Americans are mental slaves. If you own the mind, you won’t need to enslave the body. This is causing problems in problems in our society, however, as many fear those who think differently than they do while giving a pass to the ones actually at fault for their dissatisfaction.
Extreme partisanship has infected both democrats and republicans to the point of no return. According to Oregon Live, more than 40 percent of Americans say they are surrounded by “downright evil” and they’re referring to their fellow Americans who happen to belong to a different political party. This division and fear keep the elite wealthy, powerful, and increasingly authoritarian.
