"Specific deterrence" is a concept recognizing that many/most violent
attackers will offend multiple times if they remain able to do so.
 

So any violent attacker will be processed as follows:
• arrest
• try
• appeal (lx; only within the state jurisdiction in which the crime occurred;
Federal prosecution and review will be available ONLY where there is
solely a Federal basis for the investigation/arrest/prosecution/
adjudication)
• execute within 30 days of appellate finding of "guilty after appeal"
• onward to next case
Or we can continue to tolerate the horrific events day after day across the
former USA.
