 the neocons/zionists have a regular method of creating their wars;

IT WILL BE EASY. Donald Kagan 2000 in Rebuilding America’s Defenses recommended establishing core missions for US military forces, two of which were the fighting and winning of “multiple, simultaneous major theater wars” and the performance of “‘constabular’ duties associated with shaping the security environment” in key regions. No doubts, no hesitation, anywhere, any time.

NOT SO EASY? DOUBLE DOWN. We Have the Momentum in Afghanistan: the gains of the surge will be squandered if we withdraw our forces prematurely. (Kimberly and Frederick Kagan 2011).

BLAME SOMEBODY ELSE. Biden’s Withdrawal From Afghanistan May Have Helped the Taliban: Biden Could Have Stopped the Taliban. He Chose Not To. (Frederick W. Kagan, 2021).

FAILURE. You all saw it on TV. The Taliban’s new armoury of US-made equipment includes planes, guns and night-vision goggles.

FORGET IT. When did you last see or hear the word Afghanistan in the media?

Or, as the Greeks put it back then, Koros, Hubris, Ate, Nemesis to which we can add another Greek word appropriate for modern times and modern “news media” – Amnesia.

That was Afghanistan – Ukraine shows the same five steps. 1 Russia’s weak; 2 just another wonder weapon and Kiev will beat them; 3 they didn’t do what we told them to do; 4 disaster and loss (not there yet, but coming). And it’s the same guy taking us through the steps – always a little behind reality, of course. Step 1– “‘It’s stunning,’ said military historian Frederick Kagan of the Institute for the Study of War, who says he knows of no parallel to a major military power like Russia invading a country at the time of its choosing and failing so utterly.” Step 2 He tells us that unless NATO does more of the same, Russia might win.

(There’s a stupidity that transcends mere IQs and fancy degrees – here’s Kagan last March – “severe limitations in material… International sanctions are badly hampering… don’t have enough tanks… fired most of their stocks of precision weapons… shortages of artillery shells… poor quality troops… demoralized..” But, in fairness, he couldn’t have known that Russian soldiers would be saved when they stumbled into Ukraine’s largest Home Depot!).........more..........
