got this far into this essay and chose to post it based upon the snip posted below. voting. what a joke. maybe it works on a local level but anyone who thinks we've had an honest election in this country hasn't been paying attention;

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

The above quote is batted around and quoted to me often. When I ask people what are they prepared to do to fight this evil we are faced with, I get blank stares mostly. Many say, “Well, what can one person do?” Others say “I have a family to provide for and take care of, I can’t risk any of that.” Then of course there is always the one that makes me laugh tremendously, “We can vote the evil bastards out!”  .........read more.......
