You may have heard about the raucous climate protests in D.C. this week. They did receive a tiny bit of media attention. However, if you only watched the few mainstream media outlets that covered them then you probably came away with a positive view of the protest.

But the news outlets that actually covered the climate protests left out a large portion of the story. In fact, one could say, a very newsworthy portion. The storming of a federal building.

The storming of a federal facility, which included someone LITERALLY attempting what Ashli Babbit did, which was to climb above the mob and attempt admission to a restricted area of a federal building.

So how did the media cover it?

Well, Maddow presented scenes of “climate policy protesters” holding signs, “indigenous peoples” protesters holding sidewalk sit-ins, and even cops arresting people. But she conveniently didn’t notice when “protesters” stormed a federal building and broke the doors down, or when one of the insurrectionists — oh sorry Google, I meant rioters — oh sorry Google, I meant rioters — oh sorry again Google I meant ‘PROTESTERS’ physically climbed the barrier in an attempt to gain entrance to the building, where police were stationed to prevent them from entering and potentially hurting the public employees inside. NBC and MSNBC somehow ignored the fact that this protester snatched a cop’s cap and waved it above the crowd like a conquest trophy.
