i love how these illustrations encapsulate our realities;

five minutes beginning with denzel washington speaking about 'our' media , social and otherwise, in this country with other testimony following it;

wasn't intending to post this third pcr essay because he speaks of things in full opposition to the 'official' history of the empire. then i got to the part presented below and changed my mind. its longer than his usual stuff and there are some things i can't testify about but he makes many good points;

But let’s assume that blacks didn’t/don’t get to vote.  Why do we think voting matters? What good has voting done the white working class and the white middle class, a rapidly declining majority of the population but still the majority of the population? Did voting stop their jobs and careers from being offshored to Asia?  How come the voting public that wants health care can’t get it, but the military/security/Israeli complex can get all the money and wars it wants?  How come the people want more environmental protection, but the existing protection is being dismantled?  Trump gets blamed, but the protections are being dismantled by the extractive industries and agri-business that rule in the place of voters.  “Voting” works, but only for the big money interest groups who fund the political campaigns.  The vote of the timber/mining/energy lobby or the vote of the military/security complex or Wall Street or the Israel Lobby exceeds the vote of the entirety of the voting population.  When Americans vote, all they do is to provide cover for the powerful interest groups who are ripping them off behind the mask of democracy and voting.  How come blacks can change things by voting when whites cannot?  Nowhere in the Western world does voting work. The British people voted three years ago to leave the European Union, but they are still in with diminishing prospects that the British government will ever abide by the people’s vote...........https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/09/24/we-are-jeopardized-by-the-creation-of-false-realities/
the empire, in its dying days, is doing its best to remain in control, as pcr covers in this exploration of the brexit mess, and he makes several good points you may wish to consider;

Brexit Spiked
Paul Craig Roberts
When the British people voted to exit the European Union I said in many interviews, and I suppose also in written columns, that I doubted it would ever happen.  It has been three years, and it has not.
Some hosts wondered why I doubted the British government’s willingness to comply with a majority vote, but it was obvious to me that pressures from special interests inside and outside the UK, especially the pressure from Washington, would prove to be more influential with the British government than a majority vote of the British people.
Washington expressed its view to the UK government that it was not in Washington’s interest for the UK to exit the EU.  Various special interest groups, including pro-immigrant organizations, began the propaganda campaign that the UK would end up a backwater excluded from European trade.  The same predictions of doom used when populations of countries rejected joining the EU were resurrected.  Instead of obeying the vote, the populations were subjected to propaganda that staying out of the EU is a death sentence.  After the populations were worn down and lost confidence, they are made to vote again, and were congratulated when “good sense” prevailed.
In other words, the elites prevailed over democracy..........https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/09/24/brexit-spiked/
pcr takes on the murder of jfk herein, and hits a lot of correct points, though i doubt that 'our free press' will ever speak this way unless their controllers, 'our' rulers, will ever let that cat out of the bag;

The Coverup of President John F. Kennedy’s Assassination Is Wearing Thin
Paul Craig Roberts
Here is a several years old documentary of 35 minutes summarizing the powerful evidence that the Warran Commission Report on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is a cover-up.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-l23ec-4mc
All available evidence points to the CIA and the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, with the cooperation of the Secret Service, as the murderers of President Kennedy.  Fifty-six years after the murder of President Kennedy, the US government still refuses to release the documents that would prove what really happened.  Clearly, the truth is being hidden.
As James Jesus Angleton, the head of CIA Counterintelligence told me, when the CIA does a black ops operation, it has a cover story ready that is immediately fed into the media.  In this way the CIA controls the explanation.  As years pass and the cover story wears thin, the agency releases some actual factual information but mixes it with other insinuations that direct focus off into red herrings.  This documentary video, which is very revealing for the most part, shows indications of this manipulation.  One is the insinuation that Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald inside the Dallas jail, had mafia ties and that the mafia might have been involved.  Of course, if the mafia had done it, there would be no reason to keep it secret, much less go to such extensive effort to cover it up.  The other is the insinuation that Vice President Lyndon Johnson arranged the murder so that he could become president.  This is farfetched, but many believe it.  A vice president has no control over the Secret Service, CIA, or military.  A vice president who tried to organize such a coup would be arrested. If the CIA and Joint Chiefs want to kill the president, they don’t need the vice president......https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/09/24/the-coverup-of-president-john-f-kennedys-assassination-is-wearing-thin/
here is a compilation of 'the thin blue line' in all of its glory which can serve as a demonstration about why you don't call a cop if you ever have a choice;

Think twice before you call the cops to carry out a welfare check on a loved one.
Especially if that person is autistic, hearing impaired, mentally ill, elderly, suffering from dementia, disabled or might have a condition that hinders their ability to understand, communicate or immediately comply with an order.
Particularly if you value that person’s life.
At a time when growing numbers of unarmed people are being shot and killed for just standing a certain way, or moving a certain way, or holding something—anything—that police could misinterpret to be a gun, or igniting some trigger-centric fear in a police officer’s mind that has nothing to do with an actual threat to their safety, even the most benign encounters with police can have fatal consequences.Unfortunately, police—trained in the worst case scenario and thus ready to shoot first and ask questions later—increasingly pose a risk to anyone undergoing a mental health crisis or with special needs whose disabilities may not be immediately apparent or require more finesse than the typical freeze-or-I’ll-shoot tactics employed by America’s police forces.
Just recently, in fact, Gay Plack, a 57-year-old Virginia woman with bipolar disorder, was killed after two police officers—sent to do a welfare check on her—entered her home uninvited, wandered through the house shouting her name, kicked open her locked bedroom door, discovered the terrified woman hiding in a dark bathroom and wielding a small axe, and four seconds later, shot her in the stomach.

seems there's a solution to gun violence and 'our' leaders will provide as we abide, or how come each of 'our' political parties are equally stupid but in different ways;

The Democrats’ emphasis on gun control shifts the focus away from the vast majority of so-called gun violence, the continuous train of atrocities committed primarily by young black men and other minorities in our demoralized inner cities. The rhetoric of “gun violence” obscures these crimes by focusing on the tool and averting attention from who is committing crimes and how often. On the other hand, they say we have too many people in prison—particularly “people of color”—and that we need to open up the prisons and can do so without endangering society. Democrats never imagine doing this kind of confiscation effort in the ghetto, where genuinely dangerous “felon in possession” cases are ignored............https://www.amgreatness.com/2019/09/17/why-soft-on-crime-democrats-are-tough-on-gun-violence/
