 tucker makes a move that could lead to something big;

Speaking with the Columbia Journalism Review in an interview published Wednesday, Carlson said he plans to “help build a third party,” just months after publicly breaking with President Donald Trump over the U.S.’s involvement in the Israel-Iran war.

“I’m going to help build a third party. There should be a good-faith effort to figure out what benefits the country,” Carlson said.

During the same interview, Carlson insisted that he still has no interest in seeking public office.

“I don’t want to be a candidate,” he said.

“Before I did the Times interview, someone said to me, ‘They’re going to ask you if you’re running for president.’ I was very tempted to say ‘I am running—on the pro-patriarchy ticket.’ Just to make sure I gain no new fans.”

Carlson’s support for a third party stems from what he rebuked as bipartisan support from both Democratic and Republican parties for foreign intervention.

He accused Republicans and Democrats of being “in lockstep solidarity with each other” when it comes to foreign wars.

“That’s not a democracy,” Carlson stated. “That’s a one-party state posing as a democracy, and it needs to be broken, and there’s going to be a third party, and I’m going to do everything I can to bring that about.”

He pointed to Trump’s support for Israel’s military campaign against Iran as a “lesson.”.........more.........

happy birthday, sailing ship style;

Tall ships from other countries all over the world have sailed to America, gathering near the New Jersey shore to be part of America’s 250th birthday celebrations.

In addition to being a sign of good will, these ships remind us of a past when tall ships ruled the waterways of America and other parts of the globe.

Their craftsmanship and beauty are truly something to behold.

FOX News has details:

Military allies, historic tall ships converge on New Jersey shores to launch America 250 celebrations

An international fleet of tall ships arrived on the shores of New Jersey Friday to mark a once-in-a-generation celebration of America’s semiquincentennial.

Organizers and officials gathered in Sandy Hook to outline the scope of the historic Sail4th 250 tribute.

“Nearly 250 years ago, it was here at Sandy Hook that George Washington’s army drove the British from New Jersey,” said Gov. Mikie Sherrill, a former naval officer. “It was from this day that the last British ships of the Revolutionary War departed.”

in case you don't know;

 "As a people, Americans are coming to the realization that they are the most lied-to people on the face of the Earth, and that while our schools may propagandize us to assume everyone is truthful, the reality is that only the workers are predisposed to tell the truth, and everyone else, corporate leadership, politicians, academics, TV newscasters, lie to us so much and so constantly that Americans are just as much in the dark as to the true nature of their society as were Medieval serfs or Roman slaves." -- Michael Rivero

i'm amazed at the calm attitude exhibited by my fellow americans as they greet each new violation with a calm yawn. this one is just a small start;

 larry johnson brings us the experiences of an american living in russia;

In light of the Western propaganda portraying life in Russia as a horror show of economic chaos and deprivation, I decided to post an article submitted to me by an ex-pat American who currently resides in Simferopol. Let’s call him Dan. Enjoy:

Just over a year ago my wife and I left the US, bound for Russia. We had just closed our business, sold most of our stuff, and embarked on a new phase of our life. Our reasons for this change were twofold: to care of my wife’s 86 year old mother and take advantage of a new visa Russia recently offered to Westerners called Shared Values Visa. I was, since my college days when I took two Russian culture courses, interested in this country. My interest led me to look for a Slavic wife when I finally got around to that matter in my early 30’s. My wife is a native Ukrainian from the city of Kherson. Besides the first two years of our 25 year marriage, which were spent in her hometown, we lived in the US. We don’t have any major plans for the future besides living with Mama while she is still here.

We are currently living in Simferopol, the capital of Crimea, which is, or at least was, a sister city to the capital of our home State in the US. The two cities are similar in size and on the same parallel on the globe. I have not met nor heard of other Americans living in this city. We have come to know many locals here though, through church, or interactions in daily life. Some of them have become our friends. We rent an apartment in a micro district in the central part of the city. There are, I suppose, 5000 people living in the 20 or so apartment buildings in this area. ..........more............
