The co-sponsors of a bill that would force the government to release all available Jeffrey Epstein documents held an hour-long press conference Wednesday that included statements from Epstein’s victims. One said that she and others were considering releasing their own list.

I am going to cover two different issues here today, but both pertain to Donald Trump. I am not a Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) person. I do not reflexively dislike President Trump, but I find myself more disturbed about his foreign policy and his military actions, which counter his professed claim to be seeking peace. Let’s start with the attack on an alleged Venezuelan boat on Monday by the US Navy… It was a criminal act by US forces in my view.

President Donald Trump announced at a press briefing that US Navy forces “shot down a boat, a drug-laden vessel, with a substantial amount of drugs aboard,” stating that 11 alleged cartel members were killed in the operation. He described the strike as a warning to narco-terrorist organizations and claimed it was conducted in international waters against a vessel headed for the United States. Trump posted a video of the operation and emphasized US resolve to combat drug trafficking linked to Venezuelan gangs............more........

Israel’s finance minister and de facto “governor” of the West Bank, Bezalel Smotrich, has unveiled a controversial plan to annex the vast majority of the occupied Palestinian territory.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Smotrich proposed absorbing 82 percent of the West Bank into Israel, a move that would effectively eliminate the prospect of a future Palestinian state.

He said the plan was prepared by the Settlement Administration within the Ministry of Defence.

Under the proposal, only six isolated enclaves – where major Palestinian cities such as Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Ramallah, Jericho and Hebron are located – would remain outside of Israeli control. All other areas, including dozens of towns and villages, would be formally annexed.

Smotrich described the principle behind the plan as taking control of “maximum land with minimum [Palestinian] population”.

Keir Starmer is pushing for everyone in Britain to be forced to sign up for a digital ID card after Emmanuel Macron demanded action to tackle the scourge of illegal working in Britain. The Mail has more.

Sir Keir Starmer told the Cabinet he would be “exploring options around digital ID” as part of a wider package of reforms designed to make it harder for illegal migrants to live and work in this country.

Downing Street confirmed Ministers are examining proposals for a digital ID scheme 15 years after the idea was abandoned following an outcry about the impact on civil liberties.

Under one option, anyone applying for a new job would be required to produce their digital ID to demonstrate that they have the right to live and work in this country. Similar provisions could also be introduced for those moving to new accommodation, making a benefit claim or seeking to access public services.

Labour ruled out ID cards as recently as July this year, with Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds saying the idea was “not our approach”.

Microsoft, through Azure cloud services, and Google and Amazon through the “Nimbus” initiative, supply core tech infrastructure for the Israeli army.

This marks 21st-century war crimes as an Israel-US public-private partnership. Israel’s mass starvation of the people of Gaza has been confirmed by the United Nations, Amnesty International, Red Cross, Save the Children and many others. The Norwegian Refugee Council, along with 100 organizations, have been calling for an end to Israel’s weaponization of food relief. This is the first time that mass starvation has been officially confirmed in the Middle East.

The scale of the starvation is staggering. Israel is systematically depriving food to more than 2 million people. Over half a million Palestinians face catastrophic hunger and at least 132,000 children aged under five are at risk of death from acute malnutrition.
