The New York Times has published an op-ed by a genocide scholar who says that he resisted acknowledging the truth of what Israel is doing in Gaza for as long as he could, but can no longer deny the obvious. 

It’s an admission that may as well have come from The New York Times itself.

In an article titled “I’m a Genocide Scholar. I Know It When I See It.”, a Brown University professor of Holocaust and genocide studies named Omer Bartov argues that “Israel is literally trying to wipe out Palestinian existence in Gaza,” and denounces his fellow Holocaust scholars for failing to acknowledge reality.

“My inescapable conclusion has become that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people,” Bartov writes. “Having grown up in a Zionist home, lived the first half of my life in Israel, served in the I.D.F. as a soldier and officer and spent most of my career researching and writing on war crimes and the Holocaust, this was a painful conclusion to reach, and one that I resisted as long as I could. But I have been teaching classes on genocide for a quarter of a century. I can recognize one when I see one.”...........more............

There are two equally hideous explanations for Trump’s meltdowns over being asked questions about the doings of Jeffrey Epstein and those who associated with him. I place the words in italics to make a point about the interesting shift. It used to be that people on the Trump side – and even Trump himself – questioned the motives of the Left when the Left got upset about questions being asked.

Curiously, Trump was one of the people asking questions – and demanding answers – about this ugly Epstein business. Until that is, he got into a position that demanded answers. It’s easy enough to raise questions from the outside. But when you’re inside . . .

So now Trump want to move along. Those kids in Texas who drowned matter. Forget about the kids that may have been diddled by  . . . well, that is the question, isn’t it?

Her argument is based on the fact that ICE agents are masked, which ignores the fact that these men and women are wearing masks to protect themselves and their families from the unhinged and radical left.

Does everyone remember how the liberal media constantly accused the Tea Party of being potentially violent, even though no violence ever materialized? Compare their rhetoric from back then to this attempt to justify the violence of the left.

Caitlin Clark finally lost it during the Indianapolis Fever game on Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun in Boston.

The greatest shooter in the game has been hampered this year by injuries, another worthless coach, a completely dysfunctional league, and referees who stand by idly as the leagues super-star is clobbered, pushed, assaulted, and pounded on in game after game.

On Tuesday night, Caitlin Clark had enough!  In the second half, the Fever guard was seen talking to the ref during a break in play.

The ref, Michael Price, then said something to Clark that made her snap.
It’s bad enough that this league and these refs allow Clark to get hammered in game after game, but it was too much Clark to have them smart off to her.........more........
