 the trump wins again with the assistance of the supremes;

 larry johnson doesn't think much of how the trump operates;

During my chat with Danny Davis today, I made the following point: There is a wide gap between what Donald Trump says in public and what he actually decides to do. A few weeks ago, President Trump warned Hamas to release all hostages by, “noon Saturday, or there would be hell to pay.” And we remember what happened — Hamas released four hostages per the agreement negotiated by Steve Witkoff and the United States took no action.

In public, Trump insists that Russia will have to make concessions, but concedes any peace deal must be negotiated between Russia and Ukraine. On a positive note, Trump continues to refuse to provide US forces as a security guarantee for Ukraine and says that is the job of Europe, if they choose to do so. Trump appears confident that he is going to sign a rare-earth, oil/gas agreement with Zelensky on Friday. While such an agreement serves Trump’s public relations campaign in the United States, it is worthless because Russia controls much of the territory where those resources are located in Ukraine.

Trump’s public pronouncements are at odds with Russia’s clearly articulated position: No European troops will be allowed to take up positions in Ukraine, no ceasefire until Ukraine is demilitarized, and Russia’s frozen assets must be returned.

We learned today that Russian and US diplomats are meeting in Ankara, Turkiye on Thursday. As of this writing, the names of the respective delegations have not been released. The meeting is at a working-group level, which means no principals from either side. The focus of the negotiation is the restoration of normal diplomatic relations.............more.........

 pcr is spot onwith this essay on 'our medical system';

The American Health Care System Is a Collection of Profit Centers Unrelated to Health Care

Paul Craig Roberts

We learned from the hoax “Covid pandemic” how bad the American medical system is.  It is worse than bad. It is terrible.  Americans have the most expensive and least effective medical system in the Western world.

Over the course of my life I have listened to the propaganda that private medicine is superior to socialized medicine.  Perhaps it is, but the United States has not had private medicine for decades. The prices paid for medical services are fixed by Medicare and private insurance companies and amount to far less than the billings.  Moreover, the prices are fixed in a way to eliminate private medical practice and force doctors into an employee relationship with “health maintenance organizations.” Private practice in America is being extinguished, especially at the level of family practitioners. As a matter of policy, health maintenance organizations–corporate medicine–are reimbursed at a higher rate than doctors in private practice.  This causes private practitioners to capitalize what value there is in their practice by selling out to HMOs and becoming employees subject to a manager with a MBA whose job is to maximize the profit from the medical unit.  In other words, profit maximization takes over from health care.

I have had two doctors who were forced out of private practice by the disparity in billing that favors corporate medicine.  In corporate medicine your doctor is not the boss.  He is an employee subject to being fired if he does not follow the treatments ordered by his employer.  This is the reason so many people were murdered and had their health permanently injured by the “Covid vaccine.”  ......more.......

 unprovoked? bullshit;

There's been 'shock' and disappointment among European as well as former US government officials at how the United Nations General Assembly vote went on Monday.

In something unprecedented while the Ukraine war has been on, now having reached the three-year mark, the United States voted alongside Russia to veto European attempts to strengthen language related to a resolution on the conflict's anniversary.

In total 18 countries voted against the Ukrainian-drafted resolution at the UN General Assembly that condemned Moscow and called for a Russian withdrawal from Ukraine.

Many observers thought the US would at least simply abstain; instead it opposed the motions alongside nations like Russia, Israel, North Korea, Sudan, Belarus, and Hungary.

The European-backed resolution, which was ultimately adopted with 93 votes in favor, expressed "concern over the ongoing full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation," and underscored its "devastating and long-lasting consequences for Ukraine, regional stability, and global security."

It urged "de-escalation, an immediate ceasefire, and a peaceful resolution to the conflict" while demanding Russia’s "complete and unconditional withdrawal" from Ukrainian territory.

The explanation of US Ambassador to the UN Dorothy Shea was very revealing, and marks a significant shift in perspective compared to the prior Biden admin. As journalist and war observer Dave DeCamp explains:

In remarks to the UN, US Ambassador Dorothy Shea referred to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as an “escalation of the Russia-Ukraine war” and said the conflict started “11 years ago,” referring to the war that broke out in Ukraine following the US-backed coup in 2014 that ousted former President Viktor Yanukovych.

The language from Shea marks a significant shift from the Biden administration, which always referred to the war as an “unprovoked” Russian invasion despite the history of US and NATO involvement in Ukraine.........more........

 zero hedge covers the change in trump media world as the white house now is in control of what media are allowed in the 'pool';

The White House on Tuesday announced that it's taking control of which news outlets are allowed into the press pool, and will no longer allow the White House Correspondents' Association to act as gatekeepers. The move paves the way for independent outlets to participate in the press pool - a small group of reporters that travel with and cover the president's daily activities.

"It’s beyond time the White House press pool reflects the media habits of the American people in 2025," said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who added that the goal is to give new or alternative media companies greater access to the administration, while continuing to allow certain "legacy" outlets to be in rotation.

"Legacy outlets who have participated in the press pool for decades will still be allowed to join ... but we will also be offering the privilege to well-deserving outlets, who have never been allowed to share in this awesome responsibility," she said...........more........
