i began this blogspot to save sending emails to all i suspected might need or want to review: avoid being a spammer. so consider these things i thought you might find interest in. if you like what you see, pass it on. If the power elites didn’t need the consent of the public to rule, they wouldn’t have to lie constantly about their reasons for their wars on everyone. as gore vidal said: i'm not a conspiracy theorist, i'm a conspiracy observer.

home is where the heart is for some;
Aya Hassuna, 30, left her home in Gaza City’s eastern Shejaiya neighbourhood with her husband and two young children in November 2023, heading south amongst crowds of Palestinians forced to flee as Israel’s brutal assault on the enclave gathered momentum.
But Hassuna was the only member of the family who survived to make the painful return journey.
It is now almost eight months, Hassuna told Middle East Eye, since Hamza and Raghad, aged four and two, were killed alongside their father by Israeli bombing in Khan Younis.
Hassuna said the family had been given the chance to escape from Gaza to Egypt through the Rafah crossing but had refused, fearing that, if they left, they would never be able to return.
She had rejected another opportunity to leave for a job abroad since being widowed, she said.
Now Hassuna has a message for Donald Trump, who this week proposed that Palestinians should be moved out of Gaza and that the territory should be owned by the US.
“Even after everything I’ve been through, I refuse to leave,” she said............more........
elon gives the five sided fun house on the potomac a bad grade and predicts failure unless serious corrections are made;
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has once again taken aim at U.S. defense spending, questioning the cost-effectiveness and strategic direction of American military programs.
His latest remarks come in response to a report from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), which revealed that the U.S. Navy plans to allocate $40 billion annually for the next 30 years, totaling $1.2 trillion to maintain and expand a 364-ship fleet.
Musk, who has frequently criticized the U.S. military-industrial complex, called for a complete overhaul of how the country develops its weapons systems.
“American weapons programs need to be completely redone. The current strategy is to build a small number of weapons at a high price to fight yesterday’s war. Unless there are immediate and dramatic changes made, America will lose the next war very badly,” Musk wrote........more........
iran isn't who 'our' government keeps saying it is says larry johnson;
When it comes to using terrorism as a political club, the United States government is the grand master, and a deceptive one at that. The establishment media, lubricated with funds from the CIA and USAID, continue to push the lie that Iran is a massive sponsor of terrorism.
The U.S. government considers Iran to be the foremost state sponsor of terrorism, spending more than one billion dollars on terrorist financing annually, and there are between 140,000 and 185,000 IRGC-Quds Force partner forces in Afghanistan, Gaza, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, and Yemen.
But, according to the data presented in the statistical annex of the US Department of State’s annual report, Country Reports on Terrorism, the major perpetrators of terrorism are Sunni groups, not Iran nor groups allegedly sponsored by Iran. The Sunni groups receive financial support from the Gulf Arabs and, ironically, from the United States.
The definition of terrorism, according to Bibi Netanyahu (and I agree with him), is violence against civilians for political purposes. Simple and direct.
I have copied the tables from the Annex of Statistical Information for the years 2016 — 2023. The data in these tables tell the story. ISIS has been the most active and prolific terrorist group for the eight years presented in the spreadsheets pictured below. One group that is a subsidiary of ISIS — Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham — has placed in the top ten of the groups with most attacks for five of the last six years. And guess who the CIA helped come to power in Syria? That would be Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham..........more........
more usaid info here;
CTH readers are several years ahead of the current news cycle, and I doubt any of the recent revelations about USAID spending and objectives are surprising to most readers here. What we are now seeing are the receipts proving a conversation we have outlined exhaustively on these pages.
There are many ‘revelations’ certain to surface, including how the USAID priorities included the control of information on the internet through their partnerships in the private sector. The larger objective was always information control and manipulating political outcomes both domestically and abroad. That is the impetus for the USAID spending.
The ‘humanitarian’ angle was always a cover, a ruse, tradecraft to hide how taxpayer money was gained and being distributed. That’s why none of their humanitarian endeavors ever solved anything.
Food, clean water, medicine and global aid was the visible claim by the USAID administrators; however, as you see from the surfacing receipts, that was always just a cover for their activity in political influence operations...........more..........
you know you're over the target when you begin to get flack;
In a stunning and sweeping emergency injunction that has even stunned the people who demanded it, a Manhattan-based District Judge has just removed Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent from his authority over the Treasury Department; blocked any political appointee from accessing records within the Treasury Department; blocked any “special appointee” of President Trump from records within Treasury; and demanded that all information previously extracted be destroyed.
The emergency injunction was signed by District Judge Paul Engelmayer in Manhattan, {Ruling pdf Here} determined without any input from the Trump administration and applies until Friday, February 14, 2025, when U.S. District Judge Jeannette A. Vargas will hear the full arguments of the lawsuit.
The emergency ruling comes as a result of 15 (Soros installed) attorneys general from New Jersey, New York, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, Rhode Island, and Vermont, all filed suit in New York seeking to block Elon Musk and DOGE from access to information that would reveal how activist groups in their states have been funded by the U.S. government. california was a 'mecca' for us kids in the sixties but not now;
- California will allow transgender athletes to compete in girls’ and women’s sports, defying Trump’s executive order aimed at protecting female athletes.
- The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) says it supports state law AB 1266, permitting participation based on gender identity, not biological sex.
- The NCAA has banned transgender women from women’s collegiate sports, contrasting sharply with California’s stance.
- California’s policy endangers female athletes and violates Title IX protections for women.
- Legal battles are expected as California’s state law clashes with federal directives.
California has announced it will continue allowing transgender athletes to compete in girls’ and women’s sports, directly opposing President Donald Trump’s recent executive order aimed at protecting female athletes.
The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), the state’s governing body for high school sports, confirmed it will adhere to state law, which permits students to participate in sports based on their gender identity rather than their biological sex. This decision has sparked outrage as California once again prioritizes a radical ideological agenda over the safety and fairness of female athletes.
The NCAA, meanwhile, has taken a different approach, swiftly aligning with Trump’s order by banning transgender women from competing in women’s collegiate sports. The contrast between California’s defiance and the NCAA’s compliance highlights the growing tension between federal directives and state-level policies, particularly in liberal strongholds like California............more.........
