 kamala unplugged;

In theory, it should be hard for Kamala Harris to win the presidency of the United States.

Under pressure, Harris just completed her first “live interview”—a disastrous performance that was mysteriously taped, edited, and emotionally supported by her co-interviewed running mate. During the interview, she claimed that her values remain the same even though her manifestations of them have admittedly changed. Translated, that means for the next 70 days, she will advocate for popular policies antithetical to her own values, which will inevitably resurface after the election once the current façade fades away.

She is a Berkelyite who, as attorney general of California, had a proud far-left tenure. The lifelong large corpus of Harris’s left-wing enthusiasm and causes are only now being unearthed. But they are singular in that her riffs of embracing wokism, being a radical, erasing ICE, doing away with private health insurance, or being the last person in the room when Joe Biden made his disastrous decisions were all given to sympathetic media or pandered to crowds.

As a result, she often doubled down. Her emphatic statements were intended to stun audiences. Unlike other leftists, she really was a proud woke, radical and wanted everyone else to be one as well—broadcasting her leftism as openly as she is now cloaking it.

In one respected survey, Harris’s voting record was rated as the most left-leaning in the United States Senate. If she voted to the left of the admitted hardcore socialist Bernie Sanders, what exactly does that make her?........more........

larry johnson explores the recent military activities we have involvement in;

Ukrainian President Zelensky’s hope that the invasion of Kursk would weaken the Russian advance across the line of contact is shattered. Instead of laying back, the Russians are intensifying ground assaults and air strikes across Ukrainian territory. When I woke up this morning, news broke that Russia hit a military training center in Poltava with two missiles and inflicted more than 400 military casualties. At least 51 dead, and the numbers are climbing. NATO trainers, reportedly from Sweden, are among the casualties.

The strikes on the Ukrainian training centers marks a shift in Russian tactics. They are hitting them with a vengeance and are sending a clear message to the NATO countries — FAFO (this means, Fuck Around, Find Out). As I am writing this there are new reports of additional strikes in Kiev, Poltava and the Ukrainian University building in Sumy.

I found a video of the Ukrainian equipment losses on just one road in Kursk. The wreckage explains why the Ukrainian advance towards the nuclear power plant at Kurchatov faltered.........more.......

 the thing that gets me is that they do this crap with a straight face as if they hadn't just instituted 'laws' that enable and pursue these sort of legal tactics;

No major western leader is ever again going to be able to speak about human rights or ethical values, without attracting howls of derision. They are turning on their own people in order to prevent protest at a genocide they actively support.

Keir Starmer stepped up the pressure on opponents of Zionist genocide on Thursday with the arrest of journalist Sarah Wilkinson and the charging of activist Richard Barnard, both under the draconian Section 12 of the Terrorism Act which carries a sentence of up to 14 years in prison.

The UK MSM has of course ignored these, but is universally carrying outrage at the conviction of two Hong Kong activists for sedition, which carries a maximum sentence of … 2 years.

But they tell us it is China and not the UK which is the authoritarian dictatorship.

(To be plain, I do view the Hong Kong convictions as also an unwarranted interference with free speech. I merely point out the incredible hypocrisy of the British Establishment and far worse laws here).

Richard Barnard has been charged and will face trial, apparently related to public speeches supporting the Palestinian right to armed resistance.

Sarah Wilkinson was released on bail after about 14 hours. Like the recent arrest and bailing of Richard Medhurst, the arrest and bailing is a device to chill her reporting and activism..........more...........
