On Saturday July 13, around 6:10 p.m. shots were fired at former President Donald Trump while campaigning in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was discussing a chart of border crossing numbers when loud pops were heard and chaos ensued.

Trump grabbed for his right ear before crouching to the ground. Screams could be heard from the audience behind Trump. Secret Service agents then rushed to the stage to block the line of sight of the former president.

Once the agents received word that the shooter was down they brought Trump to his feet and began escorting him to a vehicle. Trump told the agents to wait several times while he grabbed his shoes, pumped his fist in the air, and mouthed the word “fight”. Blood appeared to be coming from Trump’s right ear and streaked across his face.

Early reports from the Pennsylvania State Police stated that Trump was hit by a piece of glass from the teleprompter screens on either side of him. However, Trump stated on Truth Social that he was grazed by a bullet and videos of the stage appear to show both teleprompters intact.

A man named Corey Comperatore was killed and two others were critically wounded in the shooting.

The Shooter: Thomas Matthew Crooks

While initial reports and social media posts named several people as the potential shooter, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has officially named Thomas Matthew Crooks as the shooter.

Crooks was 20 years old and had graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022. Records indicate Crooks was registered as a Republican voter in Pennsylvania. Federal campaign finance reports reportedly show he also donated $15 to a progressive political action committee (PAC) on President Joe Biden’s inauguration day in January 2021.........more.......

President Biden claimed in an interview published on Monday that he has done more for the “Palestinian community” than anyone else, comments that come after over nine months of his administration supporting Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza.

“I’m the guy that did more for the Palestinian community than anybody,” he said on the YouTube show 360 With Speedy.

As an example of what he’s done for the “Palestinian community,” Biden said, ” I’m the guy that opened up all the assets, I’m the guy that made sure that I got the Egyptians to open the border to let goods and medicine and food through.”

However, Biden also backed the Israeli operation to capture the Rafah border crossing on the Egypt-Gaza border, and it’s been closed ever since.

Biden also appeared to suggest in the interview that he has only provided “defensive weapons” to Israel even though his administration has shipped tens of thousands of bombs and other types of munitions.

“I sent defensive weapons,” Biden claimed. “I denied them offensive weapons that they were using 2,000lb bombs and the rest because I made it real clear they cannot use weapons that we provide them to, in fact, use in civilian areas.”...........more........

 Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, a top priority for whom is pushing women into positions for which they are unqualified, told ABC News why no law enforcement was on the roof of the building from which Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

The slope on the roof, she said, was too steep and dangerous. Crooks, apparently, didn’t know that.

The risible explanation immediately drew the ridicule it richly deserved. The sniper who shot Crooks dead was on a sloped roof, and experts say snipers operate from sloped surfaces all the time.

When Usaid Jabarin gave kisses to his five children as they left for school on 21 May, he did not know it was the last time they would see him alive.

Usaid was a surgeon at Jenin Governmental Hospital in the occupied West Bank. His journey to work that morning took place amid an Israeli military raid on the area.

Arriving at the hospital, Usaid got out of his car and began walking toward the hospital. He had only walked a few steps when he was shot and killed by a sniper.

“He loved doing good for people and was always smiling,” Kamel, Usaid’s uncle, said. “He did not act like a doctor but as a friend with all his patients.”

During the same Israeli military raid, the paramedic Hazem Masarwa was trying to reach injured people when he encountered gunfire.

Masarwa got out of the ambulance and lay down next to it. When he was able to check the ambulance, he found that there was broken glass all around it and that “it had been perforated by more than 10 bullets,” he said.

It was not the first time that Masarwa found himself in extreme danger as he worked.

A few months ago he was taking a wounded person to hospital during another Israeli military raid of Jenin. Suddenly, his ambulance came under attack by Israeli soldiers.

Canadian citizen and journalist Laith Marouf along with Hadi Hotait were reporting for Free Palestine TV (FPTV) in the south of Lebanon, when the Israeli military attempted to assassinate them.

Laith Marouf described the attack to Steven Sahiounie of MidEastDiscourse.

“The Israeli military have been targeting media workers in Gaza and Lebanon, and even in the West Bank.  We can remember before October 7 they assassinated Shireen Abu Akleh in the West Bank.”

“And, now over 160 journalists have been martyred in Gaza, and of course here in Lebanon the Israelis have assassinated four journalists in the south.  The enemy is vicious and they do not like people that do journalism work, because that brings the truth to the world. This is especially true for those who write in English.”

“We were alone, and nobody was around us when we were targeted.  Thank God the shells fell 200 meters away from us. There was a short cement fence which partially protected us, and the wind was blowing away from us, so the white phosphorus that fell in the first shell did not injure us, thank God.”

According to Hotait, he and Marouf were near an open field taking photos when the shell landed on the edge of a house near them. Hotait told The Canada Files that this was obviously a targeted assassination attempt because there were no weapons or military assets in the area. Israel has a long history of killing journalists.

White phosphorous was dropped by Israel, and soon afterwards an Israeli guided missile landed in the same area. The white phosphorous remains active, very toxic and flammable for much longer than previously known.

Lebanese researchers and experts are warning that Israel’s tactics are causing long-term and potentially irreversible damage to south Lebanon’s environment, agriculture and economy, potentially making it uninhabitable.

By March 6, 117 phosphoric bombs had been dropped on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS).

Israel is using it as part of a larger strategy to push out civilians and make south Lebanon uninhabitable, now and in the future.

The Israeli military knows that white phosphorus is detrimental, that it reignites even up to a month after being dropped, and is toxic to the environment. ..........more.........
