Tucker Carlson just challenged one of the left’s most sacred of cows – George Floyd, an ex-con who died with an elephant-dose of fentanyl in his system and a history of health issues, while in custody of Minneapolis police on May 25, 2020.

According to Carlson, we need to revisit certain popular narratives, including the circumstances surrounding Floyd’s death – and in particular, inconsistencies between public perception – that Floyd died under the knee of former officer Derek Chauvin, who’s currently serving more than 40 years in state and federal sentences.

“Did, for example, a racist white cop actually murder a man called George Floyd, a civil rights leader in Minneapolis on Memorial Day of 2020? Now we’ve been told that that happened, told it relentlessly for more than three years,” Carlson says, adding “But the question is, did he [Derek Chauvin] actually murder George Floyd? And the answer is, well, no, he didn’t murder George Floyd, and we’re not guessing about that; we know it conclusively thanks to a new court case now underway in Hennepin County, Minnesota.”

The lawsuit, incidental to Floyd and Chauvin, unveiled sworn deposition excerpts from a conversation with County Medical Examiner Andrew Baker, indicating that Floyd’s passing was not due to asphyxiation or strangulation. Instead, factors including drug use and a fatal concentration of fentanyl were significant contributors, reframing his demise from the widely publicized ‘murder’ to an inadvertent overdose.....more.....

A very large apartment building in San Francisco has lost $250 million in value since 2018 as the city has devolved into a hellscape of crime and open drug addiction.

Commercial real estate and retail space in the city have had the same problems.

San Francisco apartment building facing foreclosure, significant decline in value

An apartment building in San Francisco has reportedly experienced a large decrease in its value compared to where it stood in 2018.

The San Francisco Chronicle, citing data from Trepp, reported Thursday that the building, the Crescent Heights-owned NEMA, had its value decline by $264.6 million, hitting $279 million, more than a 48% drop from 2018, when it was worth $543.6 million.

Trepp had also tweeted about it Wednesday. The company, which tracks structured finance, commercial real estate and banking markets, said the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan connected to it was $384 million.

The Mid-Market area of San Francisco, where the headquarters of X (previously known as Twitter) and other office buildings are located, houses NEMA. The roughly 10-year-old building has 37 floors and 754 rental units, according to the Crescent Heights website.

The change comes just a couple months after another Trepp report indicated the NEMA could potentially have to contend with foreclosure from a mortgage default, according to the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Francisco Business Times. Chicago Alderwoman Julia Ramirez had to be rushed away by police this week when she was confronted by a mob of angry residents who were protesting the site of a new migrant camp.

Tensions have been rising in Chicago for months as the city has become overwhelmed with illegal border crossers.

A large portion of people who live in the city clearly do not want the sanctuary city policies that have been embraced by their Democrat leaders.

Chicago Police rushed Alderwoman Julia Ramirez away from Mayor Brandon Johnson’s proposed site of a “migrant tent city” in Brighton Park after local residents gathered Thursday to vociferously oppose the project.

Hundreds of angry residents gathered on the Southwest Side near 38th Street and California Avenue, where Johnson is planning to erect a tent city for illegal border crossers, even as winter approaches.

City crews have been cutting down trees, clearing ground clutter, and leveling the ground in preparation for the construction of the migrant housing facility.

The 12th Ward Alderwoman arrived on the scene quietly with an aide, but once protesters recognized her, they began to confront her about the mayor’s plans. According to the Chicago Tribune protesters began yelling and surrounded her aggressively.

“The protesters, mostly Latino and Asian, had been holding signs in English and in their native languages with messages for the mayor and Ramirez, demanding that the construction in the area cease immediately,” the paper reported.

People should be very concerned about the impending economic collapse. The fiscal state of our banks, inflation, gasoline, strikes and security should be front page news. As I start talking to people concerning the state of our country, they know that its fate is sealed. And they do not care. Or I should say, they do not care to support or restore a federal government that is evil.

Jim Jordan may or may not be a good Speaker. Does it matter? I have no confidence in any of our political elite or that they will get to work to rebuild one nation under God. Their god is gold and the people whom they do not represent need to understand what is important. This country was founded on Christian principles and was called the Great Experiment for a reason. Trust in the Lord and pray for Divine Intervention because Divine Providence only applies to nations which deserve it. Do you think our nation deserves His favor? I see nothing in our “leaders” to suggest that they want anything other than chaos.
