I have in a number of articles explained the fate of truth tellers. They live a high risk, low reward life. Chris Hedges explains in his article below what is happening to Matt Taibbi, formerly Rolling Stone magazine’s top attraction.  Taibbi, is a leftwinger who told the truth and was punished for doing so.  Today he is being persecuted by the IRS for reporting the Twitter files released by Elon Musk which show that the FBI pressured Twitter to censor truth tellers.

The suppression of truth is occurring everywhere in the Western “democratic” world.  Julian Assange has been in prison for a decade without due process of law simply because he reported leaked documents that revealed US war crimes and US deception of its allies.

Fox News  removed Tucker Carlson from his large audience but instead of firing him kept him under contract, paying him $20 million yearly in order to silence him.

I could go on with example after example.

Keep in mind that liberty is a modern creation dating from the Glorious Revolution in England which established the principle that the King and his government were accountable to law and the people.

The enforcement of government accountability requires free speech, so America’s Founding Fathers made free speech the First Amendment to the US Constitution which defines how we are to be governed........more......

      And yet, this shape-shifting fiend turns up again now in the Biden family global bribery matter, of all things. See if you can follow the convoluted tale coming out of Dybbuk Central a.k.a. Ukraine and the FBI. You may already know that in May, 2014, R. Hunter Biden, son of then-vice president Joe Biden, was appointed to the board of the Ukrainian natgas company Burisma, where he was paid $80,000-a-month for his expertise (he had none) in the global gas industry. As it happened, at exactly the same time Veep Joe Biden was appointed as then-President Barack Obama’s “point man” in Ukraine after the 2014 Maidan Coup, engineered by Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the CIA, that ousted elected President Viktor Yanukovych.......more........

Earlier this week, an Israeli member of parliament publicly suggested that the Al-Aqsa Mosque should be divided between Muslims and Jews, confirming fears long held by Palestinians over Israel’s future goals for control over the holy site. 

The plan was proposed by Amit Halevi, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud party, in an interview with an Israeli newspaper. 

Halevi suggested that the holy site be split into 30% for Muslim worship and 70%, including the area where the Dome of the Rock is, for Jewish worship and control. .......more.......

Russian President Vladimir Putin made remarks in a TV interview Wednesday that make clear: There will be no negotiated settlement of Ukraine conflict, there will no longer BE aNATO intervention cannot change the outcome.

Explaining to a TV interviewer why Russia entered Ukraine, he pointed to Luhansk and Donetsk which were being pounded by Kiev Artillery and Mortar fire because those two Oblasts (states) wanted to secede from Ukraine like Crimea did. He told the Interviewer

“We were forced to try to end the war that the West started in 2014 by force of arms.”

President Putin then went on with remarks that are utterly staggering. He said:

And Russia will end this war by force of arms, freeing the entire territory of the former Ukraine from the United States and Ukrainian Nazis.

There are no other options.

The Ukrainian army of the US and NATO will be defeated, no matter what new types of weapons it receives from the West.

The more weapons there are, the fewer Ukrainians and what used to be Ukraine will remain.

Direct intervention by NATO’s European armies will not change the outcome.......more.......
