For more than two decades US presidential administrations have been increasing the likelihood of nuclear war with Russia.  It began with Bill Clinton violating the word of the US government not to move NATO to Russia’s border.  SuccessiveUS presidents since have undone all the trust-building agreements achieved during the 20th century Cold War.  The provocations of Russia since the US overthrow of the Ukrainian government in 2014 have completely destroyed Russia’s trust of Washington.  The atomic scientists say it is 90 seconds before Midnight. I think it is one nano-second.  We have reached the point where all it takes is one false alarm of incoming missiles.

You can see the triumph of evil in the deployment of weapons that if used will destroy life on Earth.  The prospect of their use has risen dramatically in the 21st century.  Democrat Hillary Clinton declared the President of Russia to be “the new Hitler.”  Republican Senator Lindsey Graham called for President Putin’s assassination.  Instead of keeping to President Putin’s Minsk Agreement to maintain peace in Ukraine, Washington used it to deceive President Putin while building a Ukrainian army with which to attack the Donbass republics.  Instead of working with President Putin to create a mutual security pact, Washington provoked and widened the conflict in Ukraine in order to further enlarge NATO by bringing in Finland and Sweden, thus multiplying NATO’s presence on Russia’s border.  The US and NATO are now so heavily involved in the Ukraine conflict that the question is what does Washington do when the reinforced Russians overrun Ukraine’s defenses?  Do US and NATO soldiers rush to Ukraine’s rescue?.......more......

Israeli settlers on Thursday evening attacked an Armenian restaurant near the New Gate in the Christian Quarter of the occupied city of Jerusalem, local sources told Wafa News Agency.

The radical settlers attacked a group of diners, mostly Armenians, who were enjoying their meals at the Taboon Wine Bar.

Video footage posted by Wafa News Agency showed the extremist Jewish settlers hurling chairs at the restaurant and diners.

On Friday afternoon, Latin Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa visited the restaurant owners and adjacent shopkeepers, whose businesses were the target of attacks, in a show of solidarity by the church.

Watching the current administration in America is like watching an incompetent bombmaker on his first foray into the craft. The sweating, desperate attempts at diplomacy, knowing deep down that they don’t have the knowledge or temperament to pull it off. The braggadocio they used to get the job cannot be reconciled with their inadequacy for it. The Larry, Moe and Curly administration they’ve put together is more of a Caligula’s Horse insult than an attempt to run the Executive Branch. And yet, we’re all at their mercy to some degree until they step on their own trip wire and blow themselves up. The question is: will they blow us up first?

During previous assessments of the possibility of a World War III, I was a skeptic. What administration would be so careless, so stupid, so reckless as to risk a nuclear exchange over anything less than an outright threat to the homeland or the population? Granted, if a NATO-affiliated nation were to run afoul of either China or Russia, the risk would go up, but any effective, intelligent Secretary of State would be able to skillfully defuse the crisis. The only question would be the cost of the mitigation in either treasure or prestige.

That’s not true now. Whatever dark figures like Soros or Schwab are truly running the Ukrainian operation, they seem to be doing so with the intended purpose of causing a nuclear exchange between Russia and the US. They don’t care. They have, by any number of other actions like the open borders, the tranny drag shows, the criminally derelict elections, demonstrated their contempt for the American people and they use these things to humiliate us. They really just want to destroy the West, or at least Western-style governments. They prefer, it seems, dictatorships and totalitarianism and if the American people won’t play along, they will use any means available to dispirit or punish them..........more.........

Fresh off getting the West to sign off on the main battle tanks he's long sought from the US and Germany, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is already pressing for more, and specific, advanced systems from his external backers. 

In his Saturday night address, he pleaded for deliveries of the US Army Tactical Missile System, known as ATACMS, to protect cities which are far from front line fighting. "There can be no taboo in the supply of weapons to protect against Russian terror," he said.

On the same day, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev issued a scathing condemnation in reaction to the Biden administration and other Western officials claiming that ramped-up arms deliveries are actually helping to prevent a world war.

"Firstly, defending Ukraine, which nobody needs in Europe, will not save the senile Old World from retribution if anything occurs. Secondly, once the Third World War breaks out, unfortunately it will not be on tanks or even on fighter jets. Then everything will definitely be turned to dust," Medvedev wrote on Telegram Saturday. 

Kremlin officials have of late made the point that the US M1 Abrams as well as German Leopard tanks will make little difference on the battlefield, other than to ensure rapid escalation between NATO and Russia.
