 every day i see evidence that the empire has consumed the united states and here is another. three in one day and its only just begun. its just a matter of time at this point till the nukes fly;

“The Biden administration’s Nuclear Posture Review is, at heart, a terrifying document. It not only keeps the world on a path of increasing nuclear risk, in many ways it increases that risk. Citing rising threats from Russia and China, it argues that the only viable U.S. response is to rebuild the entire U.S. nuclear arsenal, maintain an array of dangerous Cold War-era nuclear policies, and threaten the first use of nuclear weapons in a variety of scenarios.” Stephen Young, Union of Concerned Scientists

Maybe you’re one of the millions of people who think the US would never use its nuclear weapons unless the threat of a nuclear attack was imminent.

Well, you’d be wrong, because according to the recently-released Nuclear Posture Review, the bar for using nukes has been significantly lowered. The new standard reads like this: (nukes can be used) “in extreme circumstances to defend the vital interests of the United States or its allies and partners.”

“Defend the vital interests of the United States or its allies”??

That’s a pretty broad net, isn’t it? That could include anything from a serious threat to national security to an ordinary economic competitor. And that loosy-goosy definition appears to be just what the authors were looking for. The hardliners wanted to fundamentally change US nuclear doctrine so the conditions under which nukes could be used was greatly expanded. The obvious objective of this dramatic policy-shift is to eliminate any obstacle to the free and unfettered use of nuclear weapons. Which is precisely what the neocons have always wanted; a green light to Armageddon. Now they got what they wanted. Here are a few of the changes in policy that suggest that a full-blown nuclear war is no longer a remote possibility, but an increasingly likely prospect.

1– First-Strike Use: Biden refuses to rule out first-strike use of US nuclear weapons …in reversal of his campaign promise. This is from The Daily Mail:.......more.......

 after the pcr essay showing that america is no more, along comes this one that seals that point;

It’s awful that huge majorities of college students are totalitarian enough to support corporal punishment for unwanted speech. It’s almost as bad that similar majorities think favored speech should be compelled.

Even more worrisome, the speech they wish to compel is actually pernicious.

This column reported yesterday on the eighth annual national survey of college undergraduates conducted for the William F. Buckley Jr. Program at Yale, released Oct. 25. This year’s results were by far the most disheartening yet. Less than 40% of those surveyed could bring themselves to oppose the idea that “some types of offensive speech even merit the death penalty.” And an absolute majority agreed that violence can be justified to prevent the utterance of hateful views.

Now consider the collegians’ views on that equation’s flipside — namely, that speech should be compelled in some circumstances. More than 65% agreed with each of the following two scenarios: first, that professors and administrators should forfeit their jobs if they don’t “make statements in favor of diversity, equity, and inclusion,” and second, that “new employees at any company, business, or organization” should be “required” to “sign” such statements.

This is stunning and scary. It is like the old Communist Party loyalty oaths.

Outside of the realm of faith-based employers — where, of course, the transmission of faith is part of the very mission of the organization — a requirement for adults to express a particular opinion is just tyrannical thuggery. By analogy, the political Left would explode in self-righteous anger if colleges required, as a condition of employment, a signed statement even as anodyne as agreeing with Alexis De Tocqueville that voluntary “associations” are necessary “in order that men remain civilized or become so.”

Yet two-thirds of college students are so mindlessly attached to the cult of diversity that they would compel their own professors to pronounce fealty to it rather than intellectual inquiry and free thought.........more..........

 it seems that the serfs are becoming displeased with the empire's actions;

Western sanctions against Russia have been considered a powerful foreign policy tool by the US and the EU to paralyze Moscow back to the ‘stone age.’ Though sanctions against Moscow have entirely backfired, sparking the worst cost-of-living crisis for Europeans in a generation.

In early September, we first noticed a wave of discontent sweeping across Europe as tens of thousands of people took to the city streets to protest soaring electricity bills and the worst inflation in decades. Some countries delivered relief packages to citizens to tame the anger, while other countries did not have the financial capacity to hand out checks.

Tens of thousands of people have marched across metro areas in France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Germany — many of them are fed up with sanctions on Russia that have sparked economic ruins for many households and businesses — but also very surprising, support for NATO’s involvement in Ukraine is waning.

There has been increasing awareness and dissent among Europeans about their countries’ leaders prioritizing NATO’s ambitions in Ukraine over their own citizens. The prioritization has been in the form of sanctions against Moscow, sparking energy hyperinflation and supplying weapons to Ukraine, which has made Moscow displeased with any country that does so. Some Europeans are now demanding NATO negotiate with Moscow to end the war so that economic turmoil can abate.

Here are the latest protests across Europe of tens of thousands of people (if not more) frustrated with high inflation and crying out anti-NATO slogans........watch.......

“No One Can Sit Out The Coming Storm”

Paul Craig Roberts

Putin says “no one can sit out the coming storm,” but he himself is doing a good job of it.  https://www.rt.com/russia/565476-putin-valdai-club-takeaways/

Putin’s “milestone Valdai speech” is another good speech, correct in its message, and like his others will lead to no action.

Donetsk, a Russian city, has been repeatedly attacked by Ukraine using US/Nato supplied weapons.  But until today’s missile strikes on water and electricity in Kiev Putin continued to protect Kiev (and its Western suppliers) from retaliation.   Indeed, Putin is still trying to negotiate the war with Zelensky and with Biden and to provide his Nato enemies with oil so they can continue their war against Russia.

Putin is doing more than sitting out the coming storm.  He, by his inaction and refusal to use enough force to bring the conflict to an end, is contributing to the severity of the coming storm by accepting mounting provocations that encourage more and more reckless provocations.

As the provocations mount–from the West’s training of Ukrainian soldiers and supplying them with weapons, intelligence, and targeting information, to attack on the Crimea Bridge, to destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, to stationing the US 101 Airborne Division on Ukraine’s border, to redefining US strategic doctrine in order to permit the use of nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear threat as long as it discomforts the US, to placing nuclear weapons in Finland–the provocations of Russia have become increasingly reckless.  When will the West cross a Russian red line that Putin cannot ignore?  A quick defeat of Ukraine would have prevented these reckless acts and an ever widening war.

No one in Western governments is demanding peace and a diplomatic end to the conflict.  So the process proceeds toward Russian surrender or Armageddon.......https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2022/10/31/no-one-can-sit-out-the-coming-storm/

 pcr nails it. we ain't in america anymore;

The United States Has Been Overthrown
What has taken its place?

Paul Craig Roberts

The United States has undergone a coup. Having observed no martial conflict, you might think that I have gone off my rocker. But not all coups are physically violent. They can occur because poisonous ideas take hold and subvert the society. The United States is defined by the Constitution, and when the Constitution is eroded away, so is the United States.

The Constitution has been eroding away for a long time. The liberals said the Constitution had to be a living document, which means that it is forever changing, which means redefined, which means eroded.

The Tenth Amendment was lost to Abraham Lincoln. George W. Bush got rid of habeas corpus in the name of national security when he declared that the “terrorist threat” gave him the power to hold American citizens indefinitely without presentation of evidence to a court, without trial and conviction. And he did. Obama one-upped Bush. He said he could execute American citizens on suspicion alone without due process of law. And he did. Bush and Obama were not held accountable for their violation of the US Constitution.

Today free speech and association are dead letter rights. Everyone can now censor our free speech–employers, school boards, people claiming they are “offended,” social media, print and TV media. People who say something “offensive” can be erased and never heard from again. What this means is that whoever controls the right to be “offended” can cancel the free speech of those who cannot claim to be “offended.” Without free speech, there is no debate, just the imposition of approved views.

In Woke America, this is the situation today.........more........

 Gunfight Rules. Good Advice in this crazy world we live in today.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands
around reloading."

In a gunfight, the most important rule is ... HAVE A GUN!

The following are shooting tips from various Concealed Carry
Instructors. If you own a gun, you will appreciate these rules... If
not, you should get one, learn how to use it, and learn the rules.

RULES

A.) Guns have only two enemies: Rust and Politicians. Rust can be
prevented, Politicians cannot.

B.) It's always better to be judged by 12 than carried out by 6.

C.) Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you

D.) Never let someone or something that threatens you get within 7 yards.

E.) Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they should hear is the safety clicking off, or the hammer cocking.

F.) The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes ...when only
seconds count; the response time of a .357 is 1,400 feet per second.

G.) The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always Win - there is no such thing as a fair fight. Always Win - cheat if necessary. Always
Win - 2nd place doesn't count.

H.) Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets ... you may get killed with your own gun, but they'll have to beat you to death with it because it will be empty.

I.) If you're in a gun fight:

(a) If you're not shooting, you should be reloading.

(b) If you're not reloading, you should be moving.

(c) If you're not moving, you're dead.

J.) In a life and death situation, do something ... it may be wrong, but do something!

K.) If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. Nonsense! If
you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

L.) Never fire a warning shot, that is just one wasted bullet, which
could be needed within moments.

M.) You can say "stop" or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language; and, you won't have to press 1 for Spanish/Mexican, or 2 for Chinese, or 3 for Arabic.

N.) Never leave a wounded enemy behind. If you have to shoot, shoot to kill. In court, yours will be the only testimony.

O.) You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself
and your family.

If you believe in the 2nd Amendment, forward this to others you know
who also believe.
