 if you have any legal awareness and have seen any of the rittenhouse trial you know its already a clear example of the prosecution doing their best to skirt all the rules, and this article presents even more evidence that those in charge of enforcing the law ignore it for their own advancement;

Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal team accused prosecutors of holding back key video footage that is at the heart of their case in a formal motion for a mistrial, court documents show.

Lawyers for the 18-year-old Kenosha gunman already called for a mistrial during the hearing, and filed a formal seven-page request less than an hour before closing arguments Monday, the Chicago Tribune noted

The motion argues any conviction should be overruled and seeks to forbid any chance of a retrial if Rittenhouse is cleared of the five felonies he faces for the deadly triple shooting at last year’s Kenosha riots.

It highlighted some of the prosecutors’ missteps that already had Judge Bruce Schroeder railing at them, including mentioning evidence they’d been warned not to use and also making a play on the teen’s right to silence.

But it also accused prosecutors of holding back the high-resolution drone footage used to try to suggest that Rittenhouse had been the aggressor when he claimed self-defense before the first shooting.

Prosecutors gave the defense a hard-to-see, low-res version in a 3.6MB file — less than a third of the high-res file they actually had, the motion states.

They only got the better-quality clip, already used by prosecutors, on Saturday, after testimony had concluded, the motion stated.

“The video footage has been at the center of this case,” the defense motion states, further calling it the “linchpin in their case.

“The failure to provide the same quality footage in this particular case is intentional and clearly prejudices the defendant,” the motion insisted.............read more.........

Given that political power in America is a pay-to-play auction in which the highest bidder wins, how this incomprehensibly lopsided ownership of wealth plays out is an open question.

Wealth inequality easily falls into an abstraction unless we contextualize it in meaningful ways. I've annotated two St. Louis Federal Reserve (FRED) charts--the net worth of America's top 1% and the net worth of America's bottom 50% of households, roughly 66 million households--to show their net worth and their share of all household net worth, and put this in the context of inflation and GDP (gross domestic product) of the U.S. and other nations.

These charts may look complicated but the idea is actually pretty simple: I've noted how each group (the top 1% and the bottom 50%) did at the top and bottom of each bubble: the dot-com bubble in 2000, the stock/housing bubble that topped in 2007, and the current bubble, noting the pre-pandemic data at the end of 2019 and the most recent totals (2nd quarter 2021).

Next, I pose a simple question: if the net worth of each group had tracked the growth of America's GDP (i.e. its real economy), where would its net worth be now? All else being equal, the assumption that net worth would rise more or less in lockstep with the expansion of the entire economy makes sense.

I note both the dollar amount of each group's net worth and their share of total household wealth to track their slice of wealth relative to the entire pie of wealth and to each other's slice. In other words, as the net worth pie expands, does each group expand its share of the pie or not?

What we find is a stunning asymmetry: if the top 1%'s net worth has risen along with GDP since 2000, it would now be about $21 trillion. Instead, it's now over $43 trillion, a $22 trillion gain above where it would be had it tracked GDP growth.

For context, this is larger than the GDP of the U.S. ($21 trillion) and the combined GDPs of the six largest economies behind the U.S. and China: Japan, Germany, UK, France, India and Italy which total about $20 trillion. It's more than the nominal GDPs of China and Japan.........read more........

In the Western world, journalism has been replaced by the Ministry of Propaganda

Paul Craig Roberts

“If the Trump-era FBI had executed search warrants inside the newsrooms of The New York Times and NBC News, we would be demanding evidence to prove it was legally justified. Yet virtually nothing has been provided to justify the FBI’s targeting of O’Keefe and his colleagues at Project Veritas, and the little that has been disclosed by way of justifying this makes no sense.” — Glenn Greenwald

Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi are two of the last journalists. Both are leftwing inclined, and Greenwald is a homosexual. But when it comes down to who do you believe, I believe them. They have integrity, and truth matters to them. Both have been evicted from the publications that they made famous because they told truth that hurt “advertising,” that is, public relations money for supporting an agenda. Indeed, the only reason to read the Intercept was Greenwald, and the only reason to read Rollingstone was Taibbi. Neither lies in order to advance an agenda. Both are honest journalists, a rarity today.

Greenwald has pointed out again and again that journalists are at work destroying themselves. The fools agitate for censorship which stuffs gags in their own mouths. They insist that journalists who investigate and tell the truth are not real journalists but conspiracy theorists discrediting the official narrative. As dissidents from the official narrative are pronounced not to be real journalists, they do not have First Amendment protections and can be arrested on such far-fetched charges as Julian Assange as a Russian spy and as a rapist of women who do not claim to have been raped. It is journalists themselves, presstitutes as I call therm, who have defined journalists as only those who regurgitate the official narrative in the same way as did the Soviet press under Stalin.

Everyone who reads the New York Times, Washington Post, listens to NPR, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, and the rest of the official media is engaging in self-brainwashing, self-indoctrination. They are making themselves blind, stupid, and acceptable of tyranny.

In interviews with Russian journalists, I have stated that there is no one in American print, TV, or PBS “journalism” today that, when I was a Wall Street Journal editor, we would have considered hiring. What are called journalists today are not only devoid of substance, but also of integrity. They have no respect for truth and feel no obligation to report the truth. They simply preserve their jobs by lying for the agenda, whatever it is.

Here is Greenwald to tell you about the absence of principle in what passes for journalism in the dying and corrupt Western world: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/kyle-rittenhouse-project-veritas?token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjoyMzM4MTg3OCwicG9zdF9pZCI6NDQxMTA4MzQsIl8iOiJ3QlFyRCIsImlhdCI6         .............https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2021/11/17/in-the-western-world-journalism-has-been-replaced-by-the-ministry-of-propaganda/

MUST READ: ILLNESSES AND DEATHS EXPLODE WITH VACCINATION

Paul Craig Roberts

As deaths and illnesses rise with vaccination across all countries, the question is: are what are called new Covid cases the adverse effects of the “vaccine” itself and a variety of disease outbreaks, such as the rise in cancer, that vaccine-degraded human immune systems can no longer protect against?

As it is clearly established that the “vaccine” does not protect but does have—as demonstrated by the adverse vaccine events reporting systems—serious side-effects, why does vaccination continue to be pushed to the point that people are fired for refusing vaccination and people are confined to home arrest who are not vaccinated? It makes no sense. There are only two possible answers: the medical establishments are completely stupid and incompetent people, or vaccination is a population reduction measure supported by the medical establishment and unified elites.

 this author has called this essay: the myth of russian aggression. it makes much sense as you read thru. then you can ask how many countries has russia invaded since 1945 compared to how many the empire has. even those with little historical awareness if they are honest would certainly have to agree that  the empire is the problem and not the russians. one easy example is the now discounted: russia meddles in our elections, which has been disproved many times and neglects how much the empire has done the same worldwide for a very long time. an easy example is a time magazine cover in the mid nineties bragging about what the empire was doing in russian elections at the time with a cartoon like representation of yeltsin;

Granted, memories in the era of instant media are short. But are they so short that US and European public opinion is being invited to accept, without challenge, a new round of scaremongering about Russia that comes only six months after the last?

It was, after all, as recently as April that most of Europe was on tenterhooks over reports that 100,000 Russian troops were massing on Ukraine’s eastern border, preparing for… well, it was never quite spelled out what they were preparing for.

It could have been an invasion and takeover of the whole of Ukraine, the installation of a puppet government in the Donbass, or the annexation – or ‘integration’, as Russia might have preferred to say – of that territory by the Russian Federation, on the model of Crimea in 2014. Or just a new ‘offensive’ against Ukrainian government forces in the region.

Then, not only did nothing happen, but also two rather large clarifications emerged. The first was that there were not, and never had been, 100,000 Russian troops massing on Ukraine’s border. The vast majority were at their bases many kilometres away.

And second, the much smaller number who were moving around were likely to be doing so in response to reports of Ukrainian troops mustering for a spring offensive, new weapons deliveries from the UK and the US, and some rather extensive NATO exercises being conducted in the Black Sea and to the west of Ukraine.

As is so often the case, what was presented as an aggressive stance on the part of Russia was only half the story. The other half was what the US, the UK and NATO were doing not a hundred kilometres from Russia’s borders. Once you factor this in, you might just conclude that Russia was doing no more than taking prudent precautions and that any troop movements were primarily defensive.

Part of what we are seeing and hearing today is an almost exact reprise of this, even to the troop numbers supposedly on the move. But there are some differences. This time, it is not just Ukraine’s borders that are supposedly under threat. The Western fear-mongering also seems more orchestrated, with the first warnings briefed by the secretaries of state and defence in the US. These were picked up by the UK’s outgoing defence chief, General Sir Nick Carter, before Boris Johnson then promised to ‘support’ Ukraine (against the big bad Russians) in his Lord Mayor’s Banquet speech.

It might also be noted that the US seems to have made special efforts to get Ukraine’s president on board. Volodymyr Zelensky has in the past tended to play down others’ excitement about imminent Russian attacks. But last week he too warned of ominous Russian troop movements – citing US intelligence reports.

The other big difference is the migrant crisis currently playing out on the Belarus-Poland border. Despite zero evidence that this confused and distressing situation has anything whatsoever to do with Russia, many of those peddling the warnings about massed Russian troops poised to invade Ukraine detect the not-so-hidden hand of Russia here, too..........read more........

 this is a header from todays survivalblog.com and i believe is quite sensible advise for anyone who believes what any 'leader' presents;

On this day in 1978, Peoples Temple founder Jim Jones led hundreds of his followers in a mass murder-suicide at their agricultural commune in a remote part of the South American nation of Guyana. This incredibly tragic occurrence introduced the term “…drink the Kool-Aid” into our parlance, since poison-laced punch was the vehicle behind most of the deaths. This serves as a stark warning and reminder to anyone who would join with like-minded friends under the leadership of a charismatic leader. Always know who you are following!
