 this article ends by saying its a contested version but even if it ain't so, it aught to be;

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday did not mince words on a congested conference call with Biden and federal health authorities who are seeking to prohibit domestic travel to and from the Sunshine State. DeSantis and Biden exchanged salvos of biting barbs after the criminal president said the federal government had authority to “restrict movement” of the people.

Citing concerns over the widespread proliferation of Covid-19 variants, Biden said he might have to prohibit vehicle and air traffic until the CDC and NIH were confident that currently available vaccinations had a proven efficacy against emerging strains, such as highly transmissible anomalies from the United Kingdom, Brazil, and South Africa.

Also on the call were “Deep State” Dr. Fauci and acting CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, both of whom championed Biden’s idea and told DeSantis that surging cases in Florida threatened to undermine the federal government’s expansive efforts to mitigate spread across the country. Florida, Dr. Fauci said, was the epicenter of Covid-19 mutations, and argued that new variants accounted for between 15-35% of new cases in Florida.

Walensky argued on the call that any attempt by DeSantis to resist a federally mandated travel ban would be immoral, selfish, and possibly illegal.

Biden echoed her words, and he berated DeSantis for having left Florida’s economy open during “the dark days of Covid.” Moreover, Biden claimed he had unilateral and constitutional authority to protect the nation’s health from “rogue politicians” acting in contravention of established health guidelines.........read more......

DeSantis’s initial reply was brief and blunt: “I will not comply,” he said, and then cited the CDC’s own statistics showing a nationwide decline in active Covid-19 cases.

 the criminal state of israel is doing its best to insist that its definition of anti-semitism be the only one in face of its demonstrated criminal actions in many ways especially its treatment of the focus of their actions; the apartheid nature of how they treat the conquered citizens, the palestinians, and actually its worse than how south africa treated its native population;

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) “working definition of anti-Semitism” has become a hot political topic, from Britain to the United States. Though the IHRA’s Committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial has described it as “non-legally binding,” the working definition is being used by governments, civil society groups, and political institutions as part of a concerted effort to suppress criticism of Israel.

The German parliament has recently passed a resolution condemning the BDS campaign as antisemitic and cutting off funding from any organization that supports it. In the UK, the secretary of education has threatened universities — already reeling under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic — with funding cuts unless they adopt the IHRA definition.

Though such measures are facing increasing public scrutiny and challenge, they have had a chilling effect on those who seek justice for the Palestinians — and with good reason. The IHRA definition does in fact actively constrain advocacy for Palestinian rights and criticism of Israel. The man who originally drafted it, Kenneth Stern, has even said as much and has argued against its adoption by the incoming Biden administration............read more........

 caitlin makes some good points about secrecy and conspiracies here in this essay;

The DC Circuit has ruled that the CIA is under no obligation to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests pertaining to its involvement with insurgent militias in Syria, overturning a lower court’s previous ruling in favor of a Buzzfeed News reporter seeking such documents.

As Sputnik‘s Morgan Artyukhina clearly outlines, this ruling comes despite the fact that mainstream news outlets have been reporting on the Central Intelligence Agency’s activities in Syria for years, and despite a US president having openly tweeted about those activities.

“In other words, the CIA will not be required to admit to actions it is widely reported as having done, much less divulge documents about them to the press for even greater scrutiny,” Artyukhina writes, calling to mind the Julian Assange quote “The overwhelming majority of information is classified to protect political security, not national security.”..........read more......

 for a while, but how long i don't remember exactly, i've been making the case with friends that trump was a facade intended to deceive and now mr peters goes after a similar point. trumps appearances on pro wrestling was a harbinger of said 'act' and now we're getting some of the results with slow joe. its all a fix designed to divide so they can conquer;

Many aspects of the failed Trump re-election bid are open for debate.

One thing that is not debatable is that Trump allowed hypochondria to be weaponized. The excuses don’t matter.

The fact remains.

And then comes the question: Why would a smart man (giving him his due; Trump is many things but he’s not an imbecile) permit the weaponization of hypochondria? A smart man would see – immediately, easily – the threat; that fear of “the virus” would be used to get people to vote absentee – or rather enable mass unvetted and thus easily fraudulent absentee voting and that would be the means by which his opponents would remove him.

Ergo, why let them?

It makes no sense . . . unless they were not really his opponents. It does make sense if the Orange Man was a pawn, a tool – someone playing his role..........read more.......

 the short intro to this article is: consider here the power of the israeli criminal enterprise to control as much as they do, and then decide if that is a thing you wish to stand behind;

Our international institutions once again put on display how debased they can be. Here we have Israel, who is not a member of the International Criminal Court, putting on a full court press to have prosecutor Bensouda of Gambia removed.

If you look for outrage in the world press, please let me know in the comments if you find any. We must never miss the opportunity to rub in the faces of those who claim to hold themselves up to high and honorable conduct, that they tend to go on the attack when there is little downside.

The shadow of Israeli geo-political thuggery has been over us for a long time. As an added disgrace for Americans, we even pay for the cost via our guaranteed funding with no questions asked. Our own US Corps of Engineers even helped construct the wall around the Gaza prison camp, something unknown to 99 out of 100 US veterans.

Whether we have a Democratic or Republican administration seems to have little difference in our Israel policy. Yes, Obama did take a stronger stand than most US presidents, especially when he withdrew the Aegis destroyer from the coast of Israel. The Aegis’ radar was the heart of Israel’s Iron Dome rocket defense system.

That allowed a lot more of the Gaza retaliatory rocket strikes to get through and get Israelis angry at Bibi. Whether Biden will try to defend us from continued Israeli aggression is anyone’s guess, but his not having had a call with Bibi yet is sending a message that he is way down on Biden’s ‘to do’ list.........read more.......
