Dekalb County, AL — On March 1, 2020, Anthony David Nute, had harmed no one and had committed no crime when he was arrested after “acting strangely in his front yard.” The subsequent kidnapping ended with Nute’s face being shattered by police during a horrifying beating that was captured on video.

Video was released this month as part of a lawsuit filed on behalf of Nute by Griffin Sikes, a Montgomery attorney. The video is nothing short of shocking. It was so shocking, in fact, that Sheriff Nick Welden immediately fired the deputies involved, who are all named as defendants in the lawsuit.

“I’m a no-nonsense kind of guy,” Welden told AL.com. “I have to stand for what’s right in the job I do, no matter what it is.”

According to police, they received a call about Nute behaving strangely in his own front yard. Behaving strangely in your own front yard is not probable cause for detainment as police had no reasonable suspicion that a crime had been committed. However, that is exactly what happened.

When a Rainsville police officer showed up, Nute is staring into the sky and walking around in his front yard. The Rainsville Fire department was also on the scene attempting to assess Nute’s condition.

“We’re trying to get you some help, man,” the officer says to Nute. But help was the last thing Nute would receive.

 In the debate over whether a recently retired military man, Gen. Lloyd Austin, should be secretary of defense, the New York Times published an editorial yesterday emphasizing the importance of “civilian control” over the military.

How quaint! Never mind that Times, by its own admission, endorsed President Trump’s nominee for secretary of defense, Gen. James Mattis. The Times now says that two times in a row would be too much because civilian control of the military is so vitally important in America.What nonsense. The fact is that the national-security establishment, which consists of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA, has long been in charge of the levers of power within the federal government. Anybody who becomes secretary of defense, military or civilian, is going to be taking orders, not giving them.

But we have to cling to our myths and lies — you know, like the one that holds that American servicemen died in America’s many foreign wars to protect our “freedom.” As long as we cling to such falsehoods, myths, and unrealities, everything will be fine, or so the argument goes.

But everything isn’t fine. Just look around. Look at the ever-increasing numbers of young people committing suicide. Is that normal? That’s the surest sign yet of what clinging to lies and myths and selling them as reality can do to a nation. Add to those suicides the suicides of veterans and the massive drug addition, alcoholism, and other self-destructive behavior and all the irrational killings and other acts of violence that pervade American society.

The Western World has entered a Dark Age from which it is unlikely to emerge intact.  In Europe nations once based on distinct ethnicity have opened their borders to mass immigration of unassimilable peoples, thus destroying their internal unity.  These same nations have also abandoned their sovereignty. The US, EU, and Globalism preside over Europe. The main European countries no longer consist of nation states.  In France citizens who complain of the marginalization of the French people in their own country are prosecuted. In Germany they are branded Nazis and subjected to legal threats.  Germany doesn’t even permit its citizens to express opinions with which Jews disagree. Having just completed a two and a half year prison sentence for Holocaust denial, 92 year old Ursula Haverbeck has been convicted again  by German courts for doubting aspects of the Holocaust in a 2018 interview. In Greece a nationalist political party, Golden Dawn, was declared racist, xenophobic, and fascist, charged with running a criminal organization and had its leaders and its members in the Greek government arrested and sentenced to prison. The ethnic base of European countries has been effectively silenced. 

In the US the Democrat Party has just stolen a presidential election. Seventy-five percent of Republicans and even 30 percent of Democrats can see that the election was stolen.  They can also see that the presstitutes denied from the earliest moment all evidence of electoral theft without investigating a bit of it. They have witnessed state election officials and the judiciary bless the theft.  The American Establishment has closed ranks to rid itself of a non-establishment outsider, a president who dared to represent the people instead of the elites and their agendas.  any regular reader will know i frequently have posted kunstler and recently just about all of his essays. this one is among the ones that seem to feature great balls of information, if accurate and would seem to indicate many more interesting times in the immediate future;

When you think of the US Supreme Court, it’s probably the image of its august Greco-Roman façade, expressing the conjoined ideas of democracy (ancient Greece) and a republic (classical Rome). Or else, you might imagine the grand courtroom inside — always featured in drawings, because photos aren’t allowed — which is the ultimate performance space for the law of the land. But there must be quite a backstage area, offices for the justices and their clerks, and surely some kind of boardroom, or even a comfy lounge full of overstuffed leather club chairs, a fireplace, and a sideboard with the cut-crystal sherry bottle. Would you suppose that the nine justices, or, at least the two divisions of them, get together there and palaver informally over dockets and cases? I would.

Now imagine they are palavering over the current case at hand brought by Texas with what… seventeen other states now, plus the president, in for backup? Is the court really reluctant to take the case, as the media gossip says? Maybe. But if they do take it, would they eventually rule to not disturb the current disposition of the election — even as alleged to be rife with ballot fraud — out of fear of venturing into a constitutional wilderness, as other gossip has it. Maybe. But what happens then…?

Hey, whatever you think of Donald Trump, he has been POTUS for four years, with access to whole lot of non-public information about his colleagues in government, including who among them has been playing footsie with the tentacles of China, and lots more.
