“It’s rude to stare!”, most of us were told as kids. Just how rude you only realise when you’re sitting in a near empty train carriage, minding your own business, when a man in a face mask gets on, takes his seat, swivels in your direction and fixes you with a long, long, cold, hard, death look.

Culturally we’re all so unused to this kind of behaviour that it comes as quite a shock to be on the receiving end. It’s also a bit confusing – like being subjected to physical assault but only in the form of mime. That’s why my immediate response was to mime back disbelievingly, mouthing and gesticulating the message: “Are you staring at me?”

“Yes I am staring at you. You’re not wearing a mask. Everyone else is wearing a mask. But not you. Why aren’t you wearing a mask? I don’t want to wear a mask either but I’m wearing a mask because we’ve all been told to,” he shouted – or rather mumble-yelled from behind his mouth-muffler.

My biggest regret about this whole incident was my failure to put him in his place more crushingly and goadingly. But it’s very hard to keep a cool, rational, calculating head when you’re under attack. Even if the person attacking you is at least as slightly built as you, probably a bit older, and quivering with so much adrenalin you’d likely beat him hands down if push came to girlie shove.

I forget exactly how the row went or when it ended. Definitely the strangest part was when he called me a “bloody lefty”, which interested me for two reasons. First, no one has ever, ever called me that before, so it had the charm of novelty. Second, it confirmed my long held suspicion that a lot of the people supporting the draconian (and, in my view, entirely unnecessary) Coronavirus measures being pushed by the Government are people that till recently I would have considered my natural allies: Conservatives, as this man clearly was; Brexiteers, as he likely was too.........read more.......

RE: Open Letter Concerning the use of Police in the discriminatory targeting of certain groups during the current "Pandemic" 

As a Senior Member of the New South Wales Police Force Public Order & Riot Squad (PORS), I have been involved in many large-scale events and protests since 2009. Until 2016, PORS Commander Chief Superintendent Steve Cullen ran the unit in a manner that approached each mission, with consistency and without prejudice. 

Since his departure, the unit appears to have been overrun by bureaucrats and we find ourselves in a situation where a once cohesive unit, has been replaced with uncertainty, division, and conflicts, driven by increased red-tape and competitiveness, causing the demise of good judgement in policing. 

This situation has intensified during the declared National State of Emergency, as Police are asked to enforce arbitrary rules against the population, without any verifiable and objective scientific basis, in the name of public health and safety, often infringing upon basic human rights in the process. .........read more.......

Wildwood, NJ – A disturbing video posted on social media shocked the world after showing a police officer slamming a young woman onto the ground at the beach, punching her in the head repeatedly, and then placing her into a chokehold while surrounded by witnesses, including small children. Because the two officers who attacked the young woman were never held accountable, the taxpayers of Wildwood were held to the fire instead.

This week, it was announced that Wildwood taxpayers would be shelling out $325,000 to Emily Weinman, then 20, as part of a settlement in her lawsuit against the city. the lawsuit claimed that police fabricated evidence against Weinman as well as used excessive force during her arrest. Video evidence backs up this claim.

The former Mayor, Ernie Troiano, Jr., who was mayor when the cops attacked Weinman — and who was outspoken in his support for the woman beating cops — called the settlement  a “travesty and a miscarriage of justice.”

“It’s unbelievable,” he said.

Weinman’s abuse was most assuredly unbelievable and the fact that the taxpayers are being held responsible instead of the cops, is infuriating.

As TFTP reported at the time, the incident took place on a Sunday afternoon in 2018 and was posted on Twitter by Lexy Hewitt with the caption, “I was sleeping on the beach and I woke up to this. I can’t believe it.”

The video was later uploaded to Facebook by Weinman, herself, who claimed that she was the girl in the video, and the incident began when she was on the beach with her family and two officers approached her and demanded to know her age and if she was drinking........read and watch more......
