more cop follies to add to your awareness of how things really are;
Louisville, KY — Louisville police have been receiving some much needed attention recently after several of their officers kicked in the door to an innocent couple’s home and murdered Breonna Taylor in her hallway. Since then, the country has learned how far the system will go to protect cops who violate the rights of citizens. However, as the following incident illustrates, Taylor’s case is just one of many in which police engage in deceptive tactics to justify their violence to the public.
Body camera footage was released this week which contradicts the reasoning given by officer Jason Burba and other officers for using violence against 25-year-old Princeton Brown. In their report from the incident that unfolded in October 2019, police claimed that when they approached Brown, he “took a fighting stance” and officer Burba had no other option by to punch the mentally ill man in the jaw before he was slammed face first into the concrete.
But as the newly released footage shows, that is not how the scene unfolded. Brown showed his hands as requested and never once took a fighting stance.
According to police, a woman called 911 because Brown — who is a diagnosed schizophrenic — asked for her keys to her car in the parking lot. He did not harm the woman, but frightened her when he allegedly tried to get in her car, enough to where she sped off and called police. Obviously, attempting to take someone’s keys and get in their car is not okay but the force used against Brown in the subsequent beating and take down was not okay either.
As the video shows, Brown is compliant until he’s told to get on the ground. Despite refusing to get on the ground, Brown was not violent and only passively resisted by grabbing a nearby fence as police attempted to force him down.......read and watch more....

Elections are a nasty business, but sometimes they can be clarifying.
We don’t yet know who won the US presidential election, and we may not for days or weeks to come. This stems largely from the ineptitude Americans witnessed on Election Tuesday.
It wasn’t just the fact that pollsters once again failed disastrously, or that networks fumbled their election coverage.
The bigger issue is that America’s governing bodies look incapable of managing something as simple as a vote, something Americans have managed to do efficiently for centuries without the benefit of computers, digital communication, and mass transportation.
As an American, I find this a tad embarrassing. As the journalist Glenn Greenwald observed Wednesday, countries with far fewer resources and less advanced technology regularly manage to hold speedy, efficient elections. This is something the US failed to do on Tuesday, Greenwald noted.
The richest and most powerful country on earth — whether due to ineptitude, choice or some combination of both — has no ability to perform the simple task of counting votes in a minimally efficient or confidence-inspiring manner. As a result, the credibility of the voting process is severely impaired, and any residual authority the U.S. claims to “spread” democracy to lucky recipients of its benevolence around the world is close to obliterated.........read more.........

An incredible miracle for the Democrats has occurred in Milwaukee, Wisc., where seven wards are reporting vote totals that exceed the total number of registered voters.
Wards 234, 269, 272, 273, 274, 277, and 312 all inexplicably saw voter turnout that exceeded the total number of registered voters, while dozens upon dozens of others saw near-100 percent voter turnout, a highly improbable and clearly fraudulent phenomenon.
An analysis of the official results provided by the Wisconsin Secretary of State reveals that most of the obvious fraud took place on the far southwest side of Milwaukee. The rest was scattered throughout the city, which delayed reporting its vote tallies until most Americans were already long asleep.
“The City of Milwaukee reported record turnout of 84 percent Tuesday; 243,144 of 288,833 registered city voters cast a ballot,” reported the Milwaukee City Wire News Service.
“Biden defeated Trump in Milwaukee 195,034 to 48,110, a margin of 145,916. He won 80 percent of the city’s total vote.”
The outlet further revealed that of the city’s 327 total voting wards, 90 of them reported turnout of greater than 90 percent. Another 201 supposedly saw voter turnout that exceeded 80 percent........read more......

Democrats seem to be finding extra ballots all over the place, wherever and whenever they’re needed.
In Virginia, Democrat Abigail Spanberger was losing her race to a Republican challenger until 14,000 ballots were suddenly found on a flash drive. What a stroke of luck.

Virginia Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger has now surged ahead in her tight race with a Democratic challenger after officials reportedly discovered thousands of “overlooked” ballots on a flash drive.
Spanberger, is a former CIA official who was part of the 2018 Blue Wave that gave Democrats control of the House. Her victory ended the GOP’s stronghold on the state’s 7th congressional district seat. Her challenger this year is Republican Nick Freitas.
The election-watch group Virginia Public Access Project tweeted late Wednesday afternoon that Spanberger was down by about 1,350 votes following a canvassing effort by county officials.
Less than an hour later, however, VPAP reported she had jumped considerably ahead of Freitas, in part the result of an infusion of over 14,600 previously “overlooked” ballots found on an Henric County county flash drive.
The memory stick had been “mislabeled as ‘provisional ballots’,” the group said.
Are we supposed to believe this was just a coincidence?

i watch my friends who have a dog in this 'election' struggle and am pleased i haven't been sucked into it since the decider was on stage. acting president reagan is where i got caught up in the foolishness a long time back. kunstler has some good points and evidence to come down on some of this but i believe there's probably much more we haven't even heard about;
The matrix of interests, parties, and people styling themselves as The Resistance, who tried unsuccessfully to cough up Donald Trump like a hairball for four years, may finally succeed by harvesting the magical crop of mail-in ballots delivered by unicorns in the gathering darkness this post-election week of mathematical wonders.
America walked wide-eyed into this signal institutional failure, the one that lowers us to the level of places in the world where the loincloth is a business suit and the only instrument of persuasion is a machete. The Attorney General, Mr. Barr, warned the country months ago in so many words that mail-in voting would invite massive fraud, and so it has gone, but exactly as predicted, in plain sight, shamelessly.
The Resistance dared to work this operation because there were no consequences to their previous seditions and felonies. Nobody ever answered for the many crimes of RussiaGate (and possibly never will). The lying slattern Christine Blasey Ford slunk back to her cushy life in California with a big GoFundMe bundle after defaming Judge Kavanaugh. Eric Ciaramella and his UkraineGate accomplices, IC Inspector General Michael Atkinson and Col. Alexander Vindman, never even faced an inquiry over their janky scheme. Judge Emmet Sullivan still refuses to follow the DC Circuit order to close the General Flynn case. Rep. Adam Schiff never paid any price for knowingly lying his ass off, nor did The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN, and MSNBC. Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg are allowed to suppress the news and deform the public conversation because they’re more important than the rest of us, and they know better, too.
No consequences for these actors in a rough and dirty game, but great consequences for the USA — a now lethal loss of faith in the essential fairness of American life and the institutions that were created to insure it. Shame on us for letting it get this far........read more......
