pat buchanan makes some great points about how the empire is reacting to the plandemic and where it may lead;

The same day the number of U.S. dead from the coronavirus disease hit the 15,000 mark, we also crossed the 15 million mark on the number of Americans we threw out of work to slow its spread and “bend the curve.”
For each American lost to the pandemic, 1,000 Americans have lost their jobs because of conscious and deliberate decisions of the president and 50 governors.
Some 60,000 citizens, we are told, will likely be lost in this pandemic. Are we prepared to accept 60 million unemployed to “mitigate” those losses?
What price victory in this good and necessary war to kill the virus? Is it unseemly or coldhearted to ask?
At what point do we “declare victory and get out,” as one senator told us to do in Vietnam, rather than continue to sustain the U.S. war dead, even if that meant South Vietnam would fall to our common enemies?........read more........
this writer makes many good points about the 'plandemic' and its potential intentions;

Following the news regarding coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) we’d be led to believe humanity faces an unprecedented crisis – and judging by the socioeconomic damage being done – it is not that difficult to believe some sort of unprecedented crisis is indeed unfolding.
Yet the sense of urgency imposed upon the general public – prompting lockdowns around the globe and unprecedented measures being put in place – all centered around fighting a supposedly dangerous pathogen and avoiding overburdening global healthcare infrastructure – is entirely artificial.
If Covid-19 was truly a pandemic worthy of such hysteria – a pandemic the West has claimed over the years was all but inevitable – why has the current international order dominated by the West failed so utterly in dealing with Covid-19?
 Trillions for Endless War, Nothing for Pandemic Preparations?
Literally trillions of dollars have been dumped into the US-led war in Afghanistan alone – saying nothing of the trillions more spent on occupying Iraq, waging war in Libya and Syria, aiding Saudi Arabia in the destruction of Yemen, and the myriad of “soft-power” interventions unfolding across the rest of the globe.
These are trillions of dollars that could have instead filled hospitals with top-of-the-line ventilators as well as filled warehouses with much cheaper and portable ventilators that could be deployed when and where needed.
And it wasn’t as if the need for ventilators was just suddenly realized amid the Covid-19 outbreak. An MIT paper written in 2010 titled, “Design and Prototyping of a Low-cost Portable Mechanical
Ventilator”, – a full decade ago – would note:..........read more...........
we're required to stand where the 'authorities' tell us to and believe what their tv broadcasts. critical independent thinking isn't allowed. hornberger speaks about some of the results of that in this piece centered on iran. just about all of  the empire's history of mucking about in iran isn't known by the majority of americans but if you do some research, you'll discover we've been horrible and they've been defending themselves;

When Hannah Arendt wrote about the concept that she called “the banality of evil,” she was referring to people who are engaged in evil but who actually believe that are engaged in good. They aren’t evil people, Arendt said, just good people who are unwittingly engaged in evil.
You couldn’t find a better term to describe American interventionists who support the U.S. government’s economic sanctions on Iran, especially given how the coronavirus is ravaging the Iranian people.
Defending the continuation of the sanctions under these dire circumstances, sanctions supporters say that the responsibility for excess deaths arising from the sanctions lies with the Iranian regime, not with the U.S. bureaucrats who are dutifully enforcing the sanctions. As soon as Iranian officials capitulate to the demands of U.S. officials or abdicate in favor of a pro-U.S. puppet regime, sanctions supporters say, the sanctions will be lifted.
I have written about this banality of evil long before the coronavirus crisis. See, for example, my articles “The Banality of Evil” (January 2018) and “America’s Banality of Evil” (September 2019). For years, the U.S. government has been inflicting as much pain and suffering on the Iranian people as possible through sanctions. Combined with Iran’s socialist, centrally planned economy, the sanctions have succeeded in wreaking a massive destruction of Iran’s economy.
The aim of inflicting all this devastation and suffering? To squeeze the life out of the Iranian people as a way to secure either regime change or obedience to U.S. orders on the part of the current Iranian regime............read more............

What Are Fauci & Gates Up To?
Paul Craig Roberts
Fauci says the government is considering giving out COVID-19 ‘immunity cards’ in order to reopen the economy https://www.businessinsider.com/the-government-is-considering-covid-19-immunity-cards-2020-4
This is absurd.  It is a well known established fact that not all get immunity.  People cured of the virus have again become infected.  This negates the usefulness of “immunity cards.”
How can Fauci and Gates not know this?  Clearly, they have a different agenda.
If you thought Bill Gates was intelligent, think again.
The moron wants the economy locked down for 18 months until his vaccine is ready.  18 months in a locked down economy means no one will be alive to vaccinate with his toxic concoction.

kunstler shows you who we once were , with photos, to be able to show you who we aren't anymore, and where that's gonna lead;

The ruins of Mary McClellan Hospital stand on a hill overlooking the village of Cambridge, New York, in what was a “flyover” corner of the country until the planes stopped flying. The hospital cornerstone was laid July 4, 1917. The USA had entered the war against Germany a few months earlier. The “Spanish” flu pandemic kicked off in January 1918.  The hospital opened in January 1919. The flu burned out a year later. The hospital shut down for good in 2003.
I’ve lived around here for decades and never actually got a look at the place until I went up there on a blustery spring Saturday before Easter to look around. I like to read landscapes and the human imprint upon them. This one is a ghost story, not just of the bygone souls who came and went here, but of an entire society, the nation that we used to be and stopped being not so long ago..........read more...........
