the reign of hurricane trump is a perfect illustration of how those we 'elect' aren't in charge as the following piece by hornberger makes perfectly clear;
President Trump excited many non-interventionists when he publicly
announced that he was ordering an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops
from Syria. Quite quickly, however, Trump bent to pressure and agreed to
extend the withdrawal deadline to four months. That caused me to write
an article on January 2 entitled “It’s Too Soon to Celebrate Trump’s Syria Withdrawal.”
Then came the stunning announcement by National Security Advisor John
Bolton declaring that no U.S. troops would be withdrawn from Syria
until ISIS has been totally defeated and only after Turkey has promised
not to attack Kurdish forces, which have assisted Trump with his Syria
intervention. Bolton’s announcement necessarily means that Trump’s
deadline has now been extended far beyond the four-month extension.
Indeed, for all practical purposes it implies that U.S. troops are going
to remain in Syria indefinitely, the very thing that Trump initially
said he was going to end immediately.
The question naturally arises: Who’s in charge here — Trump or
Bolton? Wouldn’t one ordinarily think that it’s the president, not the
person working for the president, who gives the orders with respect to
U.S. troops?
The real answer is that neither Bolton nor Trump is in charge. The
entity in charge of U.S. foreign policy is the national-security
establishment, which consists of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA.
They, not Trump or Bolton, decide whether and when U.S. troops will be
withdrawn from Syria or anywhere else. They are clearly the ones who
have decided that U.S. troops shall remain in Syria.........https://www.fff.org/2019/01/10/president-bolton-or-worse/
i began this blogspot to save sending emails to all i suspected might need or want to review: avoid being a spammer. so consider these things i thought you might find interest in. if you like what you see, pass it on. If the power elites didn’t need the consent of the public to rule, they wouldn’t have to lie constantly about their reasons for their wars on everyone. as gore vidal said: i'm not a conspiracy theorist, i'm a conspiracy observer.

i re-post every thing i've seen from this source which is now speaking about possible solutions to some of the crap we're facing brought on by the greed and ignorance of those who rule;
Warning! This article might at first glance appear to be depressing but there are solutions to these problems. But first we must get angry enough to do something. Wall Street despises us. Never forget that.
The people who own the government deliberately over populated America. Study the writings of Leon Walras and Wassily Leontieff. The latter won a Nobel Prize in economics for his study of the American economy. He studied the inputs and outputs of American industry. Starting with an extractive industry like mining which outputs coal and iron. These outputs become inputs to the making of steel as an output. This steel in turn becomes an input to the making of cars and washing machines.
Leontieff determined that American wages were a third higher than Europe because we had abundant natural resources to which we added value through the employment of skilled labor.
The fly in the ointment for the American economy was that when our population went above 150 million in 1950, we were supposed to cut wages every time we added a few million people through legal and illegal immigration. The people who owned the government decided to print money by the trillions to:
1) pay for foreign wars and the occupation of foreign lands.............https://vidrebel.wordpress.com/2019/01/10/over-population-one-their-plans-to-destroy-us/

this exploration of the practices of 'our' legal system in regards to financial institutions is about what you've been exposed to over your life here in the land of the free, but it shows more details and compares it with what happens to the rest of us, though the last sentence is advertising;
Call me crass, but I wasn’t shocked to learn last week that Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) had agreed to pay a $575 million fine to settle claims by all 50 states related to bogus account openings and forcing unneeded insurance policies on consumers with auto loans. That’s on top of the $1 billion fine the bank paid federal regulators last April for the same conduct.

That’s on top of the $1 billion fine the bank paid federal regulators last April for the same conduct.
Paying hefty fines for its outrageous practices is
nothing new for WFC. In September 2016, the shelled out $185 million in
fines and penalties when regulators discovered it had opened at least
1.5 million sham accounts and applied for 565,000 credit cards without
permission of the customers that held them. That same month, the bank
paid $24 million to settle claims that it had illegally repossessed the
cars of military service members. And in April 2017, WFC disbursed $108
million to settle claims that it had overcharged veterans to refinance
loans.
Then last August, the bank was fined $2.1 billion for
issuing “liar mortgages” it knew were based on falsified income
information in the leadup to the financial crisis of 2007 to 2008.
Oh, and a few weeks ago, we learned that WFC had
erroneously denied 870 mortgage modification requests, leading to more
than 500 foreclosures. Some of the people affected by the glitch
literally became homeless.
Will the bank be punished for its latest mistake?
Sure, but it’s likely to be a mere slap on the wrist that will give it
no incentive whatsoever to clean up its act. After all, WFC’s net income
in 2017 came to $22.18 billion, and the indications are the bank’s
income will be even higher for 2018. To WFC, the fines it pays for
misconduct are simply a cost of doing business.
The penalties WFC pays might even be tax-deductible.
For instance, JPMorgan-Chase was able to deduct $11 billion of the $13
billion it paid in 2013 for its role in the sale of high-risk mortgages
prior to the 2007 to 2008 financial crisis............http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/01.19/banksters.html
i find every day to bring forth new absurdities and this is certainly a big one, as now there's an 'approved' ap that will decide for you if the link you wish to visit is approved for you by those who own you, and let you know that you shouldn't visit this one because it will try to sell you 'fake news';
The frenzied, hysterical Russia narrative being promoted day in and day out by western mass media has had two of its major stories ripped to shreds in the last three days.
A report seeded throughout the mainstream media by anonymous intelligence officials back in September claimed that US government workers in Cuba had suffered concussion-like brain damage after hearing strange noises in homes and hotels with the most likely culprit being “sophisticated microwaves or another type of electromagnetic weapon” from Russia. A recording of one such highly sophisticated attack was analyzed by scientists and turned out to be the mating call of the male indies short-tailed cricket. Neurologists and other brain specialists have challenged the claim that any US government workers suffered any neurological damage of any kind, saying test results on the alleged victims were misinterpreted. The actual story, when stripped of hyperventilating Russia panic, is that some government workers heard some crickets in Cuba.
Another report which dominated news headlines all of yesterday claimed that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort (the same Paul Manafort who the Guardian falsely claimed met with Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy) had shared polling data with a Russian associate and asked him to pass it along to Oleg Deripaska, who is often labeled a “Russian oligarch” by western media. The polling data was mostly public already, and the rest was just more polling information shared in the spring of 2016, but Deripaska’s involvement had Russiagaters burning the midnight oil with breathless excitement. Talking Points Memo‘s Josh Marshall went so far as to publish an article titled “The ‘Collusion’ Debate Ended Last Night”, substantiating his click-generating headline with the claim that “What’s crystal clear is that the transfer to Kilimnik came with explicit instructions to give the information to Deripaska. And that’s enough.”........https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2019/01/10/a-new-narrative-control-firm-works-to-destroy-alternative-media/

here is a curious item about the push by israel to ramp up their control of this land, and its most curious to see it being so brazen that they resort to a almost unheard of course of action;
Voted Down on Tuesday Night, McConnell Raises Alarm by Forcing Second Vote on 'Unconstitutional' Anti-Boycott Bill
"When
was the last time the Senate voted twice in less than 24 hours to
consider the same bill? They're doing it right now on S.1, a bill to
authorize $38 billion in weapons for Israel and encourage states to deny
contracts to people who support boycotts for Palestinian rights."
Less than 24 hours after Senate Democrats successfully voted down a motion to proceed to legislation that would give states and localities more power to punish pro-Palestinian boycotts of Israel, rights groups raised alarm and urged Americans to call their senators immediately on Wednesday as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) moved to bring the bill up for yet another procedural vote.

"McConnell apparently has no more important
business to take care of in the Senate than trying to force a vote twice
in 24 hours to strip away our First Amendment right to boycott for
Palestinian rights."
