every so often my local electronic fishwrap publishes one of my 'letters' aka, article. here is the latest with the rest at the link;

American politicians and media talk of regime change in Iran as if it’s their divine right, and actively do so about countries worldwide. Most Americans think the 1979 seizure of the American Embassy in Tehran by Islamist revolutionaries was the start of the Empire-Iran conflict. ‘Consumers’ don’t know that those Iranians were reacting to seventy years of American/British interference in their country in which Iran’s oil resources and people were terribly exploited by the Empire and brutally oppressed by an American installed dictator some of that time.
Winston Churchill, as a naval cabinet official, began abusing Iran before WWI using the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, known today as BP, stealing Iran’s oil to fuel Britain’s warships. During WWII British and American actions caused the death of large numbers of Iranians. The Empire was then replacing Britain as the world’s superpower. State Department official Wallace Murray described America’s intentions in 1942: “The obvious fact is that we shall soon be in the position of actually running Iran.”
In 1951 Iran’s citizens, perhaps encouraged by Truman’s promise to “assist free people to work out their own destinies in their own way”, elected Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh as prime minister. Mossadegh fought Western exploitation, nationalized Anglo-Iranian Oil, expelled British technicians and broke off diplomatic relations with London. His was the most popular and democratic government Iranians have ever known: Time naming him its Man of the Year for 1951, called him “the Iranian George Washington”.
The British were furious and plotted to remove Iran’s democratically elected government hoping for American help. Truman opposed it but Eisenhower didn’t. Eisenhower’s secretary of state, John Foster Dulles, whose brother Allen Dulles was director of the CIA, wanted Mossadegh out. Both brothers had been attorneys at a law firm that represented Anglo-Iranian Oil.
The CIA launched Operation Ajax in 1953 headed by Kermit Roosevelt, inciting street violence creating revolution. Americans got access to Iranian oil, the Shah was given his throne and Mossadegh was imprisoned. Iran’s oil was again controlled by foreigners. America claimed all of this was done to prevent Iran from “going communist”. A 1953 State Department report concluded that Mossadegh had no communist sympathies and had opposed Soviet meddling. Iran’s main communist party had opposed Mossadegh.

 i have several sites i go to daily to see if anything new is posted because i enjoy what they say and how they say it. this viderebel is one of those along with paul craig roberts and kunstler. he makes many good points in this post some of which i've been thinking about for some time;

If you see a candidate for the Senate or Congress, please ask them if they will fully fund a wall. If not, will they be willing to share America with 877 million other people, most of whom do not care about our culture?
Milton Friedman once said that if you have no border, people will continue to come until wages are equal on both sides meaning Mexicans come until wages in Juarez and Tijuana are the same as Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
For some time I have been looking at Venezuela. People argue back and forth about their politics. But am I the only one looking at their Population Bomb? In 1950 there were 5,482,000 Venezuelans. Today there are 31.57 million. That is an increase of 576%.
In 1950 America had 152.3 million people up from 123 million in 1929. We lost 3 million Americans to starvation in the 1930s, but gained 30 million which would include a lot of (Jewish?) immigrants.
If America’s population had grown by 576% since 1950 we would have 877.4 million people today.
America’s infrastructure deficit is about $4 trillion. That means if we can’t find $4 trillion to spend on American nation building, we will be a Third World country in a generation. A friend or relative who just had a baby will raise a child who might graduate from high school and might find a job but have no expectation that the roads will not destroy their cars and bridges will not collapse while they cross.

 this is one bit from the article which i found to be quite well constructed, with some great comments as well;

i was sent this via email and include the message and link as it came to me. i think the person who sent it sums it up much better than i could add to in any useful way;

I urge you to access the link I provide below to an 11 min+ video of high value.

Look well beyond the click-bait title and the paltry-short segment of Dr. Phil's show - aired March 5, 2018.

His lady guest was in Tower 1 at the time of AA11's impact - and speaks of traveling UP an elevator to the Plaza (street) level.
Then she describes being jolted and rocked in the elevator that had its doors blown open.
She mentions an explosion and debris field in the lobby - well after the plane had hit some 90 floors above, before the collapse.

This video is about much, much more than anything Dr. Phil ever did or said - on any show prior or since.
It's about 500+ eyewitnesses' video-archived oral testimonies about explosions before and after the impacts and collapses.
It's about the NY Times' court-ordered publication of that list of eyewitnesses and references to their testimonies...and of course...crickets.

In spite of the BBC's and Jane Pauley's kowtow role being outed by the premature announcement of the Salomon Brothers Building's collapse...
...and more crickets...it's about much, much more than a bats, balls and wickets game in bloody ol' England...it's about verifiable explosions...
...and the hundreds who testified about them.  Explosions for which...somehow I suspect...The City of London is likely one epicenter.

As everyone in this group is well aware - many among those 500+ were first responders, NYFD and NYPD - reputable, believable, trustworthy.
It also features CNN's, BBC's and others' audio recordings of explosions accompanying live video feeds - after the Towers' collapses...
...and before Tower 7's.  And mention of Barry Jenkins' story (when he escorted a FEMA official to Giuliani's 23rd floor command center)...
...where he was met with a tremendous explosion in the stairwell near the 8th floor - and his courage and heroism to save his and another's life.

In short...this video is well worth 12 minutes of your time...and your subsequent efforts to help it go viral.
It shows barely over 9000 views after 5 1/2 months!??  As such, I must wonder if this video had been uploaded previously and taken down??

Please view and listen - and let me know your thoughts.  Tag, you're it.

 those of us who see israel as a criminal enterprise welcome articles like this one posted here. much more can be found at the link providing more details;

The failure of the coordinated efforts of the West, its Arab allies, and Israel to redraw the map of the Middle East by forcing regime change in Syria has exposed Israel’s declining power across the region.
Russia’s intervention in the Syrian war on the side of Syria’s government turned the tide against ISIS, al Qaeda, and the al-Nusra Front who received arms, intelligence, and training from the West and its allies, especially Britain, France, Turkey, Jordan, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. It also placed a spotlight on a regime change policy that had all the hallmarks of a neoconservative agenda that risked helping Israel find an excuse to go to war with Hezbollah in Lebanon and provoke a major confrontation with Iran that would drag in Western powers.
Israel has been advocating for regime change in Syria from the days of the Bush-Cheney administration. It convinced Vice President Dick Cheney that Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran were ripe for a campaign to overthrow their leaders. Cheney saw to it that Syria was at the top of a regime hit list drawn up in the Pentagon and in the smoke-filled rooms of big corporate donors in Washington.
The reason Syria featured so prominently was because of Israel’s undue influence in Washington politics and its determination to hold on to the Golan Heights, which it illegally seized and has continued to hold since the 1967 Six-Day War. The Golan Heights was and, according to international law, remains Syrian territory that Israel is exploiting for military and financial gains.
From the time it seized the Golan Heights, Israel has been determined not to lose it. To that end, it has plotted to weaken Bashar al-Assad’s government and to advocate in Washington for a plot to put in place a pro-Western Syrian government that would never question Israel’s Golan occupation.
During this latest regime change war in Syria, Israel secretly aided the al-Nusra Front and illegally bombed Syria. It has continued to do this as the war winds down. Israel has also made every effort to drag Hezbollah and Iran into a shooting war, but they have not taken the bait.
