The homeless are not criminals. But they are being treated like invaders. Trump says they will be moved far from the Capital. No legal process. No vote. Just force.

This is not cleaning up. It is pushing people around for show. This is not about safety. It is about image. The city is not broken but the story is being twisted.

Meanwhile, the real issues go ignored including housing shortages, lack of mental health care and poverty. Throwing federal agents at a local problem will not fix it. It just pushes it somewhere else and makes everything worse.

The question is not if the homeless leave D.C. The question is where they will go next and who will be left to pick up the pieces...........more.......
