The Trump administration has announced a renewed crusade against “far-left terrorism,” which sounds okay if you don’t know that the word “terrorism” only ever means “behavior which goes against the agendas of the western empire.”
The United States has for example placed sanctions on UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese for calling attention to Israeli atrocities in Gaza, justifying the move by claiming the human rights expert has “expressed support for terrorism”. In the UK, police have been arresting people on terrorism charges just for holding signs which say “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action”.
The designation has nothing to do with actual acts of terrorism as the average westerner conceives of that notion. In 2024 the US government removed its $10 million bounty on former Al Qaeda leader Ahmed al-Sharaa (AKA Abu Mohammad al-Jolani) because he facilitated Washington’s regime change agendas in Syria, where he is now the sitting president. You can literally be a leader in the most notorious terrorist network on earth and still see that designation disappear into thin air as soon as you start assisting the geostrategic ambitions of the empire...........more.............

Trump, in the midst of a rapidly escalating war with Iran, had nothing better to do on Thursday night than launch a verbal attack on China for alleged meddling in the 2020 election. Now let me state up front that I believe the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, but it was not because of foreign influence. It was good old fashioned ballot stuffing. In fact, Trump’s own DOJ and the FBI have been gathering evidence in Georgia that is likely to confirm that Georgia defrauded Trump. But that’s another story for another day.
Tonight, Thursday, Trump gave a roughly 30-minute primetime address from the East Room and made the following claims:
Voter file theft. Trump said voter registration files in 18 states, totaling 220 million voter files, were “bought, stolen, or hacked by China,” and that China “carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history.” The files, he said, included names, addresses, and political affiliations. He called it an “unprecedented election security nightmare.” He attributed the intelligence to a White House task force and the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.

Over the past week, the U.S. resumed heavy airstrikes on Iran, hitting over 300 targets in the first three nights alone, according to U.S. Central Command. The strikes killed more than 30 civilians and wounded more than 260, according to Iran's Health Ministry. This U.S. bombing campaign came amid ongoing peace talks between Iran and the U.S. and while Iran held cross-border funeral processions for the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
At the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8, President Trump declared the ceasefire with Iran "over." He called Iranian officials "scum," "sick" and "vicious, violent people." Such insults against Iranians are not new. Weeks earlier, this aggressive rhetoric and the renewed bombing campaign were foreshadowed by the U.S. and FIFA’s mistreatment of the Iranian football team. I witnessed the rehearsal firsthand.
The opening act came well before the tournament began. U.S. officials accused the Iranian national team of attempting to smuggle Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps operatives and barred at least eleven members of the delegation from entering the United States.
Iran's football federation condemned the claims as "false, fabricated, and lacking any credibility." However, the accusations played their part. Yesterday on July 16, the Washington Post reported that more than 100 House Democrats voted to cut off military aid to Israel for fiscal year 2027. That would mean a lack of US dollars for Israel to use to repurchase, as it annually does, the US Government with political campaign donations by which Israel uses our money to buy our government. The vote indicates that Israel’s rule of the United States is running into difficulties. The pressure is on the Israel-worshipping Republicans, bought and paid for with AIPAC political campaign contributions provided by Washington’s annual payments to Israel, to pass AIPAC’s bill that criminalizes any criticism of Israel, including the implied criticism of non-support of Israel. The Israel Lobby is desperate to create law that would lead to the arrest of Democrat elected officials who do not support Israel’s agendas and crimes.
