 the video is a must watch item;

The liberal state of New Mexico has passed a law that requires disclaimers to be put on AI-generated content, including satire. The Christian satire site the ‘Babylon Bee’ is suing the state over this on grounds of free speech.

Coincidentally, the Babylon Bee recently produced a satire video lampooning the state, which you can watch below.

It’s great that the Bee is standing up for free speech and challenging the law.

FOX News reports:

A New Mexico law requiring disclaimers on certain AI-generated political content, including parody and satire, is being challenged in court by Christian satire news site The Babylon Bee.

HB 182, passed in 2024, amended New Mexico’s Campaign Reporting Act to add disclosure requirements for political advertisements containing what the law defines as “materially deceptive media.” The law mandates that relevant images, video or audio manipulated or created through artificial intelligence must display a prominent AI disclaimer identifying the content as created or manipulated by artificial intelligence.

The Bee, which frequently pokes fun at political candidates and issues, argues the state law violates fundamental free speech rights and due process..............more............

 russians are sharper than your tv wants you to believe. it won't be easy for the empire;

At a recent speech Ukraine’s former Commander-in-Chief Valeri Zaluzhny made a stunning admission.

He stated that over the course of the Ukrainain conflict, Russia has managed to turn every single Western wunderwaffen or “superweapon” into useless junk:

His actual words in detail:

“By the time of 2026, Ukraine had already deployed every single type of weaponry—except perhaps for Tomahawk missiles, nuclear weapons, aircraft carriers, and F-35s, as well as applied all of NATO’s highly complex operational doctrines…

And all the available resources have now been completely exhausted. Russia has managed to find a specific countermeasure to every one of them.”

He goes on to give an example, where the HIMARS system was initially a surprise success that, according to him, single-handedly enabled Ukraine to liberate the Kherson region in the fall of 2022. But only a single month later, he says, the HIMARS was rendered completely useless.

His words:

“Exactly a month later, [the HIMARS] were turned into a completely pointless thing, that’s simply impossible to use.”............more.........

 more evidence of the empire's delusions;

When U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told an interviewer this weekend that the Strait of Hormuz would “become irrelevant” within two years — with more than half the energy now crossing it rerouted through underground pipelines — he was indulging a pipe dream. Bessent fails to grasp that Iran’s ability to use the Strait of Hormuz as geopolitical leverage is not going to vanish if the Gulf arabs quickly build oil pipelines. It is true that capital hates chokepoints, and Gulf producers are indeed racing to build around one. Saudi Arabia is expanding its East-West Petroline, the UAE has leaned harder on its Fujairah bypass, and Iraq is dusting off long-dormant overland export corridors. Chevron is even studying a revived Haditha–Baniyas line from Iraq to the Syrian Mediterranean.

Although Bessent‘s oil pipeline proposal sounded like a nifty way to neuter Iran, he fails to grasp the true economic importance of the Persian Gulf and the leverage that Iran will continue to have for years to come. Bessent’s framing treats Hormuz as an oil problem, and a pipeline network — however ambitious — solves an oil problem. But Hormuz is not merely the world’s most important oil chokepoint. It is the sole maritime exit for a cluster of specialized commodities that cannot be pumped through a pipe, cannot be quickly re-sourced elsewhere, and whose disruption is already inflicting measurable economic damage across food, semiconductors, and heavy industry. Building a crude bypass and declaring the strait “irrelevant” mistakes one throughput for all of them.

The evidence for that is not hypothetical. It is the record of the past five months............more...........

 larry johnson gives us an idea of the corner we've painted the empire into;

The Trump administration, following several media reports of a plague of weapons shortages, is trying to launch a frantic effort to reload. After two wars — Ukraine and the 2026 conflict with Iran — burned through interceptor stockpiles at a rate no peacetime industrial base was built to sustain, the Pentagon is moving with unusual speed and unusual money in an attempt to rapidly rebuild its most important air-defense munition. In late July, the U.S. Army awarded Lockheed Martin a multiyear PAC-3 production contract reported at roughly $53.9 billion, part of a framework meant to lift annual output of the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptor from about 600 missiles to 2,000 by 2030. It is one of the largest missile-production commitments in American history.

There is only one tiny problem that the contract cannot fix with money alone — The PAC-3’s guidance system — the part that makes a hit-to-kill interceptor actually hit — depends on two rare-earth inputs whose supply is almost entirely controlled by China. Washington is pressing its defense primes to more than triple output of a weapon whose most irreplaceable components sit at the far end of a supply chain that runs through Beijing. The ambition and the vulnerability are growing at the same time, and they are on a collision course..........more..........

 and of course we have absolutely no reason to suspect any ulterior motive from the zionists;

According to the Post report, after boarding the older Air Force One, Trump was then moved to a third plane, an Air Force C-32A, via a catering truck. Some White House staffers and reporters on the older Air Force One thought President Trump was also onboard as they flew to the UK, making them unwitting decoys.

Missing from the Post report was where the intelligence about a plot against Trump came from. According to Middle East Eye and also a report from The Wall Street Journal, it came from Israel, which aligns with reports from the time.

Sources told MEE that the Israeli intelligence report warned that Iranian covert forces could target Air Force One at the airport in Ankara using shoulder-fired rockets, known as MANPADS, from just one kilometer away. Due to the alleged threat, the Secret Service moved the departure point from Ankara Airport to Esenboga Airport and wanted to switch from the new Air Force One to the old one.

“Of course, we took the report very seriously and tried to assist our American counterparts as much as possible,” a source, described as a person familiar with the matter, told MEE. “Yet it was very clear to us that there was no way this report was true.”.........more..........
