The fall of the Assad regime—the last secular Arab regime—represents a victory for Islamist, terrorist insurgents and their allies. These terrorists’ allies, most especially the US and the State of Israel.

Washington began to publicly and actively pursue this in 2013 when then-President Barack Obama declared that Assad “must go” during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Then, as now, the US was being repeatedly pulled into regional conflicts in the service of the Israeli state. Tel Aviv wanted a puppet regime installed in Syria that would facilitate Israeli land grabs in southern Syria.

This opposition to the Assad regime was packaged as opposition to Assad’s alleged human rights abuses, although Assad’s supposed war crimes now look almost quaint compared to the ongoing butchering of women and children by the Israeli state in Gaza.

Luigi Mangione's one-page "manifesto" was published online Tuesday by Ken Klipperstein, who said major media outlets have had it in their possession but have refused to publish it without even providing a reason why.

"My queries to The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN and NBC to explain their rationale for withholding the manifesto, while gladly quoting from it selectively, have not been answered," Klipperstein noted.

"To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country," Mangione opened his letter. "To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone."

The electorate in Romania chose Calin Georgescu as their president. But the West said  NO!  You see, Georgescu is opposed to US military bases on Romania’s border with Russia.  So a Romanian judge was paid a bagful of money to cancel the election. The current president, whose term expires  December 21, following Zelensky’s lead declared he would stay in office. I have wondered why Biden did not do the same thing.

The judge vacated the will of the Romanian people, because he ruled that Russia using the social media TikTok interfered with the election.  For reasons I don’t understand, when a newspaper endorses a candidate it is not interfering with an election. Neither is it interfering when plutocrats donate millions of dollars, thus purchasing the government to serve their interests. Celebrities can endorse, etc., but it only is interference if it happens in social media and the result is not what the ruling elite require..

The West also doesn’t accept the vote of the Georgian people who elected a parliament that is not hostile to Russia. That country’s president, a French citizen, says she won’t step down either.

John Helmer’s December 8 report from Moscow substantiates my conclusion that the Russian government’s inability to acknowledge reality, instead relying on agreements with Russia’s enemies, results in failure . In Ukraine by trying to minimize conflict, the Kremlin maximized conflict.  In Syria relying on diplomatic rather than military means resulted in a massive strategic defeat for Russia and Iran.  The Middle East, where the correlation of forces were moving against US/Israeli dominance, has been lost to Greater Israel and US control of oil flows and waterways.  

From Moscow John Helmer reports that recriminations are running high for Putin’s loss of Syria. And it is not only Putin who is being held accountable but also the commanders of Russia’s forces in Syria, head of the General Staff General Valery Gerasimov, Russian military intelligence (GRU), and the Defense Ministry. They are all damned for failure to detect, warn, and act to prevent the Israeli-American-Turkish overthrow of Assad and the Syrian government.  

The same group of failures are damned for failure to prevent the Israeli air force from preventing the resupply of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards from providing  reinforcements.  Putin, like American presidents, puts the defense of Israel before the interests of his own country.  Putin is so fearful of offending Israel that he constantly refused to provide his Syrian ally air defense from Israeli attacks...........more........
