 melania trump tells of her experiences after leaving dc the first go round, and its a clear indication of the nature of the biden/sain't obama crowd. passive aggression at least;

Incoming First Lady Melania Trump opened up about the persecution she’s endured since leaving the White House in 2021.

Trump shared her experience with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo in an Oct. 7 interview.

Trump said the persecution began as soon as President-elect Donald Trump announced his decision to run for president in 2015 but that it continued after leaving the White House.

She recounted a time that a bank — not a branch but an entire company — dropped her as a customer.

“The bank suddenly informed me they will not be able to do business with me anymore,” Trump said.......more......

listen to mr penny speaking about his experience;

Daniel Penny is a model citizen who should be praised by the city of New York. He is a breed of young men who are becoming less and less common. He puts his own safety at risk to help others. He didn't cower or pull out his phone to film when Jordan Neely started threatening to k*ll people. Instead, he took it upon himself to protect subway passengers. He was praised by the passengers on the train but was ridiculed by the city of New York. He is the citizen that every mayor of every city should want more of. He is the person you hope is around if your loved ones' lives are being threatened. Anyone who is quiet about this injustice lacks moral clarity and should take a long look in the mirror. Daniel Penny is a hero........more........

 i think the title given below is just right;

Tell me again that the United States has not become an evil empire.

A truly seismic change in the Middle East appears to be happening very fast. At its heart is a devil’s bargain – Turkey and the Gulf States accept the annihilation of the Palestinian nation and creation of a Greater Israel, in return for the annihilation of the Shia minorities of Syria and Lebanon and the imposition of Salafism across the Eastern Arab world.

This also spells the end for Lebanon and Syria’s Christian communities, as witness the tearing down of all Christmas decorations, the smashing of all alcohol and the forced imposition of the veil on women in Aleppo now.

Yesterday US Warthog air-to-ground jets attacked and severely depleted reinforcements which were, at the invitation of the Syrian government, en route to Syria from Iraq. Constant, daily Israeli airstrikes on Syria’s military infrastructure for months have been a major factor in the demoralisation and reduced capacity of the Syrian government’s Syrian Arab Army, which has simply evaporated in Aleppo and Hama...........more..........

  about the way syria is right now, or thereabouts;

So why is the Syrian Arab Army walking away from their posts?

Who is funding the Syrian rebels?

From Grok:

The Syrian rebels against the Syrian Arab Army have received funding and support from various countries and entities over the years of the Syrian civil war. Here’s an overview based on available information:

  • Turkey has played a significant role, providing funding, military training, and logistical support to the Syrian National Army (SNA), previously known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA), which is now largely organized under the banner of the Syrian National Army. Turkey’s involvement includes direct military support, especially in areas like Aleppo and Idlib.
  • Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been major financial backers, with reports indicating that they have funded rebel groups, including paying salaries for fighters. Saudi Arabia, in particular, has been involved in arming rebels through arms shipments facilitated via Jordan.
  • United States has supported certain rebel groups, though its support has often been more covert or through allies. The U.S. has primarily backed groups in areas where they fight against both the Syrian government and ISIS, often focusing on non-hardline Islamist faction..................more.........

 twenty five years ago i never would have even considered things found in this post but now days since i've been researching a good bit more i've come to see things the way larry does;

If you are a devout Christian, Jew or Muslim, fair warning — you may find this post offensive. I am not trying to offend, but I do plan to present and challenge the theological claims contained in the Book of Genesis aka Bereshit (aka Hebrew for “in the beginning”). The entire claim that Zionists have regarding their right to inhabit all land from the Nile in the west to the Euphrates in the east, stems from promises allegedly made by a person, or persons, claiming to be “God” to a fellow named, Abram. All of this belief is contingent on a separate belief — i.e., that the Pentateuch was written by Moses based on what “God” told him. If you believe that “God” spoke to Moses more than 3,000 years ago and that Moses had ample supplies of paper, ink and a writing instrument to record everything that “God” said, then it is an easy leap to be a Zionist.

For the sake of intellectual fairness, I note that there is a continuing scholarly debate on whether or not the Pentateuch was written by Moses. (You can follow that debate here.) Personally, I think that is nonsense. I believe the Torah aka the Old Testament was birthed from oral tradition passed down over a thousand years and finally put onto scrolls during the Jewish captivity in Babylon (those damn Persians again; maybe that is why Israel is so keen on destroying Iran).

Careful readers probably noticed my reference to the possibility that the “God” of Genesis is not necessarily a single entity. What!!!???? Blasphemy! Okay, here is my proof:......more......
