Israeli forces have admitted opening fire on Palestinians without restrictions and out of boredom, leaving their bodies on the streets, amid the near-total absence of firing regulations in the regime’s genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Citing testimonies of six Israeli troopers, an article published by the Tel-Aviv +972 Magazine on Monday said the soldiers were “authorized to open fire on Palestinians virtually at will, including civilians.”

The six sources, who fought in Gaza, recounted how Israeli soldiers routinely killed civilians simply because they entered an area that the military defined as a “no-go zone.”

“There was total freedom of action,” said one of the soldiers identified as B. who fought along with the regular forces in Gaza for months, including in his battalion’s command center.

“If there is [even] a feeling of threat, there is no need to explain — you just shoot.”

When soldiers see someone approaching, “it is permissible to shoot at their center of mass [their body], not into the air,” B. said, adding “It’s permissible to shoot everyone, a young girl, an old woman.”

Yuval Green, a 26-year-old reservist from al-Quds who fought as part of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade in November and December last year and the only interviewed soldier who was willing to be identified by name, said “There were no restrictions on ammunition,”.........more......

On Thursday, July 4, in the Paris suburb of Évry-Courcouronnes, a building contractor reported to the police that he had been threatened with a handgun by a hooded individual, French news outlet Valeurs Actuelles has learned from a police source.

The events took place early in the morning when the victim was surveying a demolition site to check for any damage. The Portuguese-born contractor claimed to have come face to face with a partially masked individual who threatened him.

“You dirty white bastard, you won’t do the job, we’ll kill you, we’ll burn everything down,” the perpetrator allegedly shouted, before pulling out a pistol and pointing it in the victim’s face. The victim backed away from the gun and ran away.

It is unclear what the suspect’s motive was or whether organized crime is involved at the building site.

The victim told police that the threatening individual appeared to have come in a grey Volkswagen Golf that frequently parked near the site.

In the absence of video surveillance at the scene, the police were unable to identify the vehicle matching this description. A visit to the site yielded no further results.

Although many left-wing activists say anti-White racism does not exist, as Remix News previously reported, polls show that 80 percent of French people believe anti-White racism does exist.

France has been beset with a number of incidents recently that may be only reinforcing the idea that anti-White racism is alive and well in the country, even if Whites remain the dominant ethnic group for now. A mob of looters ransacked an Oakland gas station convenience store and caused thousands of dollars in damage as the frustrated store manager claimed police took nine hours to respond to his plea for help.

Owner Sam Mardaie estimated approximately 80 to 100 people broke through his store’s front door and grabbed everything they could get their hands on.

The mob was reportedly upset they weren’t allowed inside the store as the business was only offering window service, a normal occurrence for the 24/7 shop during the overnight hours.

Approximately $25,000 in cash was taken from the store’s register and ATM, but the looters couldn’t grab the safe.

A call was placed to Oakland police but the dispatcher informed the caller the crime was listed as a Priority 2, as no suspects were on scene, adding it could be reported online.

It was only after a video of the mass looting was shared with the department that it was raised to a Priority 1 and an officer was sent to the store nine hours after the robbery began........more..........

Three days ago, Israel’s leading newspaper, Haaretz, published the results of its thorough, comprehensive investigation into what actually happened when Hamas attacked on October 7. So far, the U.S. mainstream media has not said a word about the shocking results of that investigation. Critics sometimes use the expression “media malpractice” to describe the American mainstream’s failure to report accurately about Israel/Palestine. This time, though, what’s happening is even worse; it has to be deliberate self-censorship, designed to hide the truth from the U.S. audience.

Haaretz’s long report found that Israel’s army had employed the “Hannibal Directive” on October 7. The Directive is an Israeli policy that instructs the military to open fire on its own soldiers to prevent them from being taken captive. Of course, this site, alongside other alternative media sources, was one of the first to point out the possible role of the Hannibal Directive in Israeli deaths on October 7. But the Haaretz report was significant in the number of military sources it interviewed who confirmed that there were direct orders to implement the Directive.

Haaretz explained that the policy has “the intent of foiling kidnapping even at the expense of the lives of the kidnapped.” At first, the army started deploying “Ziks,” unmanned assault drones. Later, the army fired mortars, and then artillery shells. Haaretz also confirmed that the military did know that Israeli civilians had also been taken hostage, but, nonetheless, at 11:22 a.m. the order came down: “Not a single vehicle can return to Gaza.”........more........

As I mentioned in my post on Tuesday regarding the alleged Russian bombing of a children’s hospital in Kiev, the organized media response attacking and condemning Russia was, in my judgment, a fully supported CIA/MI-6 information operation aka propaganda.

The CIA envisioned by Harry Truman, i.e., an agency that would recruit human spies, produce critical intelligence that would be scrutinized by analysts, who in turn would produce the best information for the President not available from the legacy news media, is dead. The CIA has been hijacked by the operations side of the house and is devoted, in my opinion, to creating and executing covert operations that usually result in over turning a foreign government. Once covert operations takes control, the ability of analysts to do honest analysis is kaput.

I saw this firsthand during my time working in the Central American Branch (CAB). Our attempts to do objective analysis met concerted push back from the operations side of the house — the Central American Task Force to be precise. A piece published in the Presidential Daily Brief describing the failings of the Contras, for example, was met with howls of outrage from the ops folks. We were accused of “undermining” the freedom fighters.

That is exactly what is going on today, in my view. Biden’s delusional speech at the opening of the NATO summit yesterday means one of two things — either he and his speech writers are ignoring/rejecting CIA analysis or the CIA analysts are not doing an honest job. (Children's Health Defense) Ultra-processed food producers are key actors in a complex global network of influence groups where they exert disproportionate power on global food policy and nutrition policy, according to a new paper in Agriculture and Human Values.

Calls for transforming global food governance from a corporate-dominated model to a “multi-stakeholder” model — led by organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF) — has led to the proliferation of multi-stakeholder institution initiatives, partnerships, platforms and roundtables largely responsible for instituting new global “solutions” to agricultural problems.

These multi-stakeholder initiatives are based on a vision promoted by Klaus Schwab — that private corporations are key “stakeholders” that should play a leading role in sustainable development and be positioned as “trustees of society,” the authors wrote.

As a result, most prominent and powerful multi-stakeholder institutions are largely led by board members from ultra-processed food producers, retailers and business associations, the study found.

“Our results suggest that we now have a corporate-aligned, multi-stakeholder-led, global food governance system disproportionately organized by specific actors with common interests in advancing the ultra-processed food industry,” lead author Scott Slater from Australia’s Deakin University told The Defender.

“And, the key actors include executives from Unilever, Nestlé, PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, WEF, Mars, DSM, Rabobank, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and Danone,” he added.

That means these companies and organizations have become the key drivers of global policies to address issues like malnutrition, food insecurity, biodiversity loss and climate change.

They play this role even though ultra-processed foods are tied to serious health issues including obesity, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and mental health disorders, and environmental harms including biodiversity loss and the massive proliferation of plastics across the globe.

The results, Slater said, “raise important public health and governance concerns.”

He said that “multi-stakeholder institutions potentially hide the ultra-processed food industry’s harmful human and planetary health effects, in addition to providing industry executives a privileged ‘seat at the table’ in global food-governance decision-making spaces.”

To address the issue, Slater said, structural and regulatory changes are needed to ensure the interests of these powerful actors aren’t placed ahead of food system health and sustainability. This includes the “urgently needed global coordinated responses to address the harms of ultra-processed foods.”
