Media trust among Americans has reached its lowest point in six years.

Gallup began its survey on media trust in 1972, repeating it in 1974 and 1976. After a long period, the public opinion firm restarted the polls in 1997 and has asked Americans about their confidence level in the mass media - newspapers, TV, and radio - almost every year since then.

Nearly 4,000 Ford dealers have publicly pushed back against the push to cram EVs down their (and our) throats. This is good news – in the same way that it was good news when people began to refuse to take the drugs being pushed on them as “vaccines.”

But the dealers – let alone the car manufacturers – haven’t yet pushed back against the predicate for the pushing.

Against the lie that it is necessary to push people into EVs – that is, to use EVs to push most people out of cars (and thereby, most car dealers out of business) – in order to avert a “climate crisis.”

This is vile nonsense is of a piece with the lying predicate that served as the basis for the push to inject people with drugs that weren’t “vaccines.” In the case of the latter, that there was a mass die-off event looming that could only be averted if the masses submitted to being injected with drugs that turned out to not be “vaccines.” Now the masses are told an existential threat looms that can only be averted if the masses accept being pushed into EVs – which they begin to understand means pushing most of them out of cars (and driving) because most of them cannot afford an EV and because for many of them, the EV is functionally useless for more than occasional use.

Note the curious commonality of the lie – which in both cases came in the form of a purposeful exaggeration of truth, meant to foment mass hysteria – in order to get the masses to accept what would otherwise be unacceptable........more.......

My thanks to Celia Farber for her post last night, about The Fall of Minneapolis, a must-see documentary on the George Floyd moment, and for her prior post of Maryam Henein’s in-depth report on the recent prison stabbing of Derek Chauvin by an FBI informant.

I put that last phrase in italics to accentuate the federal aspect of that catastrophic moment—a crucial aspect that this documentary treats passingly, as it deals mainly with the disgraceful role played by (a) the Democratic politicians and officials who immediately demonized the Minneapolis police, and variously ran the show trial afterward, and (b) the “journalists” who baldly misreported everything from Floyd’s arrest to the jury’s guilty verdicts.

While all those puny players surely did their part to put across that mammoth lie, the role played by the FBI in Minneapolis, and by the institutions that immediately turned Floyd’s “murder” into a global story, must also be investigated and exposed; for that whole episode, exploding roughly four months after the traumatic rollout of “the virus,” served clearly to advance the same agenda that began with “COVID”—that is, to divide the people, deal a (second) mortal blow to the economy, “defund the police” and otherwise destroy our cities, all in preparation for the global order dictated by the likes of Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates. That the propaganda jamboree over Floyd’s “murder” fit so tidily into the larger “COVID” narrative (to be followed, just as neatly, by the propaganda jamborees over Biden/Harris’s “election,” and then “January 6”) makes it imperative that we pull back and take a larger view of the events that ruined Minneapolis, while also wreaking havoc elsewhere coast to coast........more...........

Interesting times, methinks. We have Mr. Trump, per the Washington Examiner,  vowing to rid the country of illegal immigrants by rounding them up, storing them in concentration camps, and deporting them at “millions per year.”

Saith Mr. Trump to the Conservative Political Action Conference,  “Under my leadership, we will use all necessary state, local, federal, and military resources to carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history,” Trump told the CPAC audience Saturday. “We will pick them up, and we will throw them out of our country, and there will be no questions asked…The first reconciliation bill I will sign will be for a massive increase in border patrol and a colossal increase in the number of ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] deportation officers…Other countries are emptying out their prisons, insane asylums, and mental institutions and sending all of their problems right into their dumping ground.”

Wow. Can he do it, one wonders, or is he just grandstanding for his base? Will he try?  Quite possibly, I will guess. Last time, he promised to build The Wall, gave it a truly heroic effort, and built some of it. How will this new promise go? How will it play with the electorate?

A preliminary question is how many illegals are in America? Counting them is difficult since they usually have no desire to be counted. Various statistical approaches exist, none conclusive, and all suspected of political bias. We will here assume a number between ten and twenty million, probably closer to fifteen. Deporting “millions a year” plural, means at least two million a year. If there are even twelve million illegals, this will take six years........more.......

During his interview Tucker remarked on what he believes was the moment President Donald Trump won the 2024 primary.

Tucker Carlson: The New York Times had a piece. I think it was Jonathan Swan, who’s smart, and had a piece telling you what you already knew, kind of, but proving it with numbers. That Trump became the nominee in August of last year, 2022, when the FBI went through his wife’s underwear drawer in his house. Like, that was so insane that even if you’re like, “Oh, I can’t deal with more Trump… And he didn’t actually really do anything… Put Jared in charge.”

There are lots of frustrations you could have about Trump if you supported Trump, and you could be disappointed. But the second the FBI raids his house on a documents charge, and anyone from Washington, as I am, can tell you that’s, like, insane! Every, that’s, like, so common. If they’re charging him for that, that’s a joke. Where are the felonies he supposedly committed? I was led to believe he murdered people and buried them in the Meadowlands.

Do you know what mean? Like, that’s the best they got when they did that. I know for a fact, and this piece showed it, but I knew it already. A lot of people are know, I have mixed feelings about Trump, or I don’t want to deal with more Trump drama. But if this is allowed to happen, our system won’t continue. That’s so outrageous that I mean, let’s just stop lying about it. That’s a political prosecution. You can’t have that. That of the presidential frontrunner. You can’t have that. We already did it with Nixon. You can’t do that again. And so I think that’s the key to his surge. I really do think that.
