The White House said Thursday that sex change surgeries for children are "life saving" and threatened that the Department of Justice will hold states "accountable" for allegedly violating the Constitution by banning the macabre procedures.

The Alabama legislature passed legislation Thursday criminalizing gender reassignment and other related procedures for minors, including puberty blockers and hormone treatments, with a threat of up to 10 years imprisonment, according to Reuters. The press secretary said Alabama's legislation, which awaits passage by the governor, is intended to "harm kids."

"Republican elected officials are engaging in a disturbing, cynical trend of attacking vulnerable, transgender kids for purely partisan, political reasons," the press secretary said. "Today in Alabama, instead of focusing on critical kitchen table issues, like the economy, COVID, or addressing the country's mental health crisis, Republican lawmakers are currently debating legislation that among many things, will target trans youth with tactics that threaten to put pediatricians in prison if they provide medically necessary, life-saving healthcare for the kids they serve."

The press secretary also announced that "lawmakers and other legislators who are contemplating these discriminatory bills have been put on notice by the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)" and said that outlawing sex reassignment, puberty blockers and hormone treatments for children by medical professionals "may violate the Constitution and federal law."..........read and watch more....

Some readers have asked why Russia regards Finland’s membership in NATO as a provocation. For the same reason that Ukraine’s membership is a provocation: US missile bases on Russia’s border. The US does not currently have hypersonic missiles, but will sooner or later. Such missiles on Russia’s borders could reach Moscow in 3 or 4 minutes, clearly an existential threat. Along with Finland, Washington wants the bases in Sweden and the Baltic states, and already has missile bases in Poland and Romania.

Whereas Washington intends Finland’s NATO membership as a new provocation, we must not forget two other existing provocations that the Kremlin has declared to be unacceptable: the existing missile bases in Poland and Romania. It makes no sense for Russia to preemptively prevent missile bases in Ukraine and Finland while permitting existing bases to remain in Poland and Romania. Russian intervention against these two bases are likely the next self-defensive actions the Russians will take.

The West’s whore media has done its best to create worldwide indignation against Russia. People worked up into indignation do not perceive the irresponsibility of Western governments in gratuitously threatening Russia with missile bases on her borders. Russia’s Ukrainian intervention in behalf of the former part of Russia  known as the Donbass region consisting of two Russian recognized independent republics, Donetsk and Luhansk, could have served as a warning to the West and ended Washington’s provocations of Russia that are leading to nuclear armageddon. But the Kremlin dropped the ball.

The Russians could have conquered the entirety of Ukraine in three or four days, hung the entirety of the government with or without war crimes trials just as the Americans hung Saddam Hussein, destroyed the entirety of the Azov neo-nazi force, and installed a puppet government that declared itself to be a demilitarized neutral state that will never join NATO or the EU.

Instead, what did the Kremlin do?  It committed itself to a limited operation that would drag on and provide endless opportunities for demonizing Russia and her leadership and placing Russia beyond the pale.

The first thing that the Kremlin did was to announce that it had limited intentions and forbade the Russian military from using heavy weapons in civilian areas. Once the Ukrainians heard this, the neo-Nazis ensconced themselves with their heavy weapons in the midst of civilian populations. Behind these human shields granted freely by the Kremlin the Ukrainians inflicted casualties on the Russians who couldn’t fire back except with small arms. The Russian casualties sustained the Ukrainian resistance and the West’s psyops war against Russia. Instead of presenting as a formidable military opponent, Russia was presented as barely capable of holding its own against the US and UK equipped and trained Ukrainian army. The VAERS program is front-and-center in Ms. Walensky’s CDC purview. Does she not cop a glance at it now and again?
