Congressional committees recently passed two bills that contain provisions to disburse a total of over $7 billion on behalf of Israel in the year 2022. This works out to almost $20 million per day.
These provisions were included in the bills despite the fact that Israel just committed another onslaught against Gazan men, women, and children; despite Israel’s many actions that harm Americans; despite the fact that most Americans think the U.S. already gives Israel too much money; and despite the fact that aid to Israel is illegal under U.S. laws.
On June 30th, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense approved a bill that gives Israel half a billion dollars, and on July 1st the House Appropriations Committee advanced a bill that disburses nearly $6.4 billion on behalf of Israel.
APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE BILL
The latter bill, currently called the “2022 State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs Appropriations” bill, includes a measure that would give Israel $3.3 billion in military aid. The Committee’s press release on the bill, however, does not mention the funding for Israel.

In 2015, in an outburst of pure insanity, the National Fraternal Order of Police, a union representing over 300,000 officers, called for cops to be included under Congress’s hate crimes statute. This demand has since materialized into multiple acts of “Blue Lives Matter” laws, and TFTP has reported on their use multiple times. Never, however, have we seen hate crime legislation used to prosecute the free speech of an innocent person — until now.
A 19-year-old woman in Utah has been charged with a hate crime after she allegedly stomped on a “back the blue” sign at a gas station. There was no victim and no one had been harmed, yet a Garfield County police officer claimed the young woman’s actions made him fear for his life and therefore pushed to have her charged with a hate crime.
According to the arrest affidavit, as reported by the Salt Lake Tribune, the Garfield County police officer was conducting a traffic stop for speeding at a gas station when the officer saw a woman “stomping on a ‘Back the Blue’ sign next to where the traffic stop was conducted, crumble it up in a destructive manner and throw it into a trash can all while smirking in an intimidating manner towards me.”
The “smirking” caused the cop to fear for his safety and he moved to detain and subsequently arrest the woman for her completely legal act.........read more........

While I was watching a recent video on the New York Times website about an inmate at the Pentagon’s and CIA’s torture and prison center at Guantanamo Bay, I was struck by the fascinating artistic talent displayed by a prisoner named Moath al-Alwi. The article in which the video was included is entitled “He Is Imprisoned at Guantánamo. Making Art Is His Escape.” If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It’s only about 6 minutes long. It’s incredible what this man has accomplished artistically while imprisoned at Gitmo.
But I was even more struck by what the heading stated just below the title of the article.
It states: “Moath al-Alwi has never been charged with a crime, but has spent over 19 years at the U.S. military detention camp in Cuba.”That is even more incredible than al-Alwi’s fascinating artistic talent. How in the world is it possible that a person can be held prisoner by U.S. officials for 19 years without any charges or a trial?
After all, the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is clear and unequivocal:
“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation.”
At the risk of belaboring the obvious, 19 years is not a “speedy trial.” Instead, it’s about the clearest violation of the speedy trial provision that one could ever find.
How have the Pentagon and the CIA gotten away with this? Isn’t it the job of the U.S. Supreme Court and the lower federal courts to enforce the Constitution against the executive and legislative branches? .........read more.....

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is a tool of the Democrat machine. The office is out to destroy Republicans, especially Donald Trump and his family.
There are no valid charges against Trump and his daughter, Ivanka. But prosecutors do not need valid charges. The way they proceed (see Paul Craig Roberts, The Tyranny of Good Intentions, 2000) is to overwhelm a third party with false charges until the third party agrees to lie in order to incriminate the real target in exchange for dropped charges. This is the way many federal convictions are obtained.
Vanity Fair, a Trump-hating publication, is delighted to regale its Trump-hating readers with a description of how the Manhattan District Attorney’s office has concocted “a slew of criminal charges, including conspiracy, grand larceny, and multiple counts of tax fraud and falsifying records” against Allen Weisselberg, chief financial officer of the Trump business organization.
The MSNBC presstitutes have already convicted Weisselberg in the media, as happened to officer Chauvin. MSNBC got former federal prosecutor Cynthia Alksne to say on TV that the charges were just an opening salvo and that Weisselberg should seriously consider pleading guilty and cooperating against the Trumps. Former federal prosecutor Alksne said that prosecutors are pressuring Weisselberg by telling him they have everything they need to put him away. I made the point that American prosecutors and journalists no longer see law as “a shield of the people,” which is the way the creators of the rule of law saw it. Instead, in the Anglo-American world today, law is a weapon in the hands of the state to be wielded against the people.
This is how law is being used against Trump in New York and how it is being used by the FBI and federal prosecutors against those who attended the January 6, 2021, Trump Rally in Washington DC.
As of this time, 535 Trump supporters have been arrested, held without bond, and face charges of “insurrection.” These arrests and charges are totally phony. Everyone knows, including those making the arrests and charges themselves, that there was no insurrection. The presstitutes, who continue reporting the insurrection know there was no insurrection. The “insurrection” is a concoction to discredit Donald Trump and make his prosecution on the basis of purchased false testimony easier.
In American “criminal justice” facts no longer matter. Evidence that does not support conviction is prohibited from entering the courtroom. The jurors are not allowed to hear anything but the prosecutor’s concocted case. Prosecutors have a video that completely clears John Steven Anderson of the false charge of “assaulting, resisting, or impending certain police officers” on January 6, but they refuse to release the video.
