joe biden is a demented fool, as you can read and watch video about in this article. the dumocorps could conceivably win with bernie, whatever you think of him, but with biden, assuming he makes it to being nominated, will surely loose to the orange man;

It’s very bizarre and dissonant how there are currently two separate and non-overlapping lines of criticism going on against the campaign of establishment-anointed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. There are the perfectly accurate criticisms regarding the right-wingmilitaristic policy positions of the politician Joe Biden used to be, and then there are the equally accurate criticisms of Biden’s handlers and Democratic Party leadership for wheeling out the dementia-addled husk of a man he currently is to run for the world’s most powerful elected office.
These two debates do not interweave, because they are not relevant to one another. It doesn’t matter what political positions a dementia victim once had; what matters is taking care of him and keeping him away from hazards, like sharp objects and nuclear launch codes. It’s impossible to know what actual political convictions still remain held within a mind that can no longer lucidly string thoughts together anyway.
I hate doing this. I hate repeatedly writing about the obvious and undeniable fact that an old man is exhibiting obvious and undeniable symptoms of incipient dementia. It isn’t fun, and it doesn’t feel good. But the alternative is laying down and allowing the Democratic party and its allied media to gaslight people into believing it’s not a thing, as they are doing currently.............read and watch more........
commentary on red flag laws;

What follows is commentary I submitted in response to a column in the Minnesota StarTribune, penned by a police officer advocating a “red flag” confiscation law. I didn’t really expect them to publish it, and they didn’t. My goal in sending it to the Strib was to plant some seeds in the mind of whoever might screen submissions.

Commentary: Red Flag Laws

Colleen Ryan (“This ‘good girl with a gun’ believes it’s time for Minnesota to pass a ‘red flag’ law,” February 28, 2020) should be stripped of her law enforcement certification and criminally charged under 18 U.S. Code § 241. Conspiracy against rights. Since she made a point of ensuring we knew she spoke as a police officer, criminal charges under 18 U.S. Code § 242. Deprivation of rights under color of law may also be in order for her advocacy of a clearly unconstitutional “red flag” law.
What Officer Ryan failed to mention is that everything “red flag” proponents claim to want — to get guns away from those who are a danger to self or others — can already be done under existing laws. Someone who has made an actual threat can be arrested. A judge can make the surrender of firearms a condition of bail, and that can made a part of an ordinary protective order.
This what what Officer Ryan’s “red flag” proposal really does:
  1. Unconstitutionally eliminates due process before the taking; a judge issues the order before the subject has a hearing. As far back as 1921, the Supreme Court has held that “The due process clause requires that every man shall have the protection of his day in court, and the benefit of the general law, a law which hears BEFORE it condemns” (Truax v. Corrigan).
  2. Reduces the standard of evidence of danger to unsubstantiated feelings. Real threats are a crime. Real displays of danger to self support action under Minnesota statute § 253B.02(13)(a).
“Red flag” orders take property without giving the target a hearing first, without evidence, and then leave the allegedly dangerous person free to obtain any other dangerous implements.
“Red flag” laws are ripe for abuse. States that have passed them have already seen firearms taken not just from the subject of the order, but also innocent third parties, some not even in the same household.
In Florida, firearms were taken from an innocent man who happened to have a name similar to the order subject. In Colorado, a woman used the “red flag” law to harass a police officer in a dispute. Maryland officers killed a man who was foolish enough to insist that he was supposed to get a hearing before they took his property.
“Red flag” laws also don’t work. In the wake of the Parkland shooting, Florida passed its law and it has been used thousands of times. The result? Both homicide and suicide rates went up.
Officer Ryan has violated her oath “to uphold the constitution of the United States and of the State of Minnesota” to push an unnecessary and abusive act.

I might add that ex parte (the subject doesn’t get a hearing first) “red flag” orders do not meet the 18 U.S. Code § 922 prohibited person criteria, meaning the order cannot be entered into the FBI’s NICS background check system. A person who is subject to a “red flag” order is not a prohibited person and can still go out and buy another gun. A conventional protective order — with a hearing — does do this.
Feel free to share these talking points with other “red flag” advocates.........https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/red-flag-law-a-minnesota-police-officer-violates-her-oath/

how is it that cops holding you down, with your arm under you kept there by the cops holding you down, is resisting arrest? there are more questions in this article you may wish to consider;

Fort Collins, CO — Natasha Patnode received word last month that she will be receiving $325,000 from the city of Fort Collins — roughly $5,300 for every baton blow doled out by a Fort Collins police officer that struck her body. She was suspected of shoplifting clothing and was nearly killed over it.
On March 29, 2018, Fort Collins police officer Todd Hopkins was called in to arrest Patnode after she was accused of stealing clothing from a Target store. Hopkins senselessly and needlessly escalated force during the arrest, which led to Patnode’s savage beating and the end of the officer’s job with the Fort Collins police department.
Prior to Hopkins arriving on the scene, Patnode was attempting to evade a loss prevention employee from Target. When Hopkins arrived, things turned violent fast. Hopkins grabbed the woman by the collar, threw her to the ground, pepper sprayed her, and began unleashing a fury of punches and baton blows in a beating that would last several minutes.
Patnode did not appear to pose a threat to the officer and simply seemed to be shielding herself from his rampage, curled up in the fetal position on the floor as this woman-beating cop laid into her.

we're asked to get all worked up over mythical russian election interference but at the same time israeli interference is ignored;

For the last four years, there’s been a national debate regarding the scope of Russian interference in the 2016 election. The issue might end up dominating discourse in 2020 as well. Last month, intelligence officials warned House members that Russia is allegedly meddling in an effort to get Trump reelected.
Concerns about Putin’s impact on U.S. elections has generated countless articles and wall-to-wall cable news coverage. It also fueled an impeachment investigation. However, blatant election interference from other countries is certainly not treated in the same way.
This contradiction was on display over the weekend, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed AIPAC’s annual policy conference via video feed. Netanyahu repeatedly referenced Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders, who skipped the conference and claimed that the lobbying group promotes bigotry. At the most recent Democratic debate, Sanders called Netanyahu a “reactionary racist.”
“We were all reminded a few days ago that there are forces who seek to break our alliance,” said Netanyahu, “Last year, those who came to AIPAC were accused of dual loyalty. This year, AIPAC was accused of providing a platform for bigotry. These libelous charges are outrageous.”.........read, and watch more..........
if what i read is true, we get somewhere between most and all of our 'medicines' from the chinese. it seems they aren't pleased by the flag wavers here in the empire and are letting us know they could easily let us deal with it all without the imported meds;
China’s CCP media mouthpiece, Xinhua News, has published a new article titled “Be bold: the world owes China a thank you.”
In it, the author suggests that the coronavirus outbreak is much worse in the United States than authorities are letting on – while noting that President Trump praised China’s measures to control the outbreak during a recent press conference. Xinhua also points out that the US stock market “has plummeted continuously, with a drop of more than 12% in just one week.”
The article then suggests the travel ban imposed on China – including the restriction of people who have visited China – was ‘unkind,’ and has had a ‘great economic impact’ on the country........read more.......
i've posted the relevant copy from this article as i see it. you may have seen the video of a large black man addressing the greensboro city council. it was great and there is short reference to it here. now that speaker has won an election. at the bottom is the video of him speaking before the council that went viral, as they say;
RALEIGH — A former factory worker and day care operator whose gun rights speech before the Greensboro City Council in 2018 vaulted him to prominence among conservatives won the Republican nomination for North Carolina’s lieutenant governor on Tuesday in a crowded field.
First-time candidate Mark Robinson also exceeded the 30% threshold needed to win outright and avoid a runoff.
Current state Sen. Andy Wells was second in a primary that also included current N.C. Superintendent of Public Instruction Mark Johnson, a former school board member in Forsyth County; former U.S. Rep. Renee Ellmers; and former state Rep. Scott Stone.
Robinson’s 2018 recorded speech before the Greensboro council went viral, making him a nationwide speaker.
“The majority of people in this city are law abiding,” Robinson told council members, “and they follow the law and they want their constitutional right to bear arms.
“I am the majority! A law-abiding citizen who’s never shot anybody, never committed a serious crime, never committed a felony!
“I’ve never done anything like that, but it seems like every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet. You want to put it at my feet!”
What got Robinson so riled? A suggestion by Mayor Nancy Vaughan in the wake of the Parkland, Fla., school shooting that February that the city cancel a gun show at the city-owned Greensboro Coliseum............https://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/political-newcomer-mark-robinson-of-greensboro-wins-gop-nomination-for-lieutenant-governor/263274
