we're right in the path of big ice. had medium ice about twenty years ago. two weeks with no power. lots of poplars cracking all over the place sounding like a war.

heat with wood and have a reasonable pantry plus a wood cook stove though at the two week point the pantry selection gets quite boring. 

otherwise we'll see what the morning brings.......
