Marat Khairullin is, in my opinion, the best Russian war correspondent in the field. Normally, I would excerpt only a portion of his piece, but his latest work is a step above his usual and merits your full attention. If Donald Trump hopes to bring an end to the war in Ukraine, then he needs to do one thing — terminate all military and intelligence support to Ukraine. Barring that, Trump will continue to be a facilitator of Ukraine’s attacks on Russia. That makes him an accomplice of Ukraine.

Unless the US ends the assistance to Ukraine, Russia will continue to demilitarize Ukrainian forces while stringing out the negotiations. Zelensky also must be removed from his post as President. Those are unconditional demands by Russia.
