When Charles Adams published his book For Good and Evil, a world history of taxation, the most controversial chapter by far was the one on whether or not tariffs caused the American War between the States. That chapter generated so much discussion and debate that Adams’s publisher urged him to turn it into an entire book, which he did, in the form of When in the Course of Human Events: Arguing the Case for Southern Secession.
Many of the reviewers of this second book, so confident were they that slavery was the one and only possible reason for both Abraham Lincoln’s election to the presidency and the war itself, excoriated Adams for his analysis that the tariff issue was a major cause of the war. (Adams recently told me in an email that after one presentation to a New York City audience, he felt lucky that “no one brought a rope.”)

In 1860, Pennsylvania was the acknowledged key to success in the presidential election. It had the second highest number of electoral votes, and Pennsylvania Republicans let it be known that any candidate who wanted the state’s electoral votes must sign on to a high protectionist tariff to benefit the state’s steel and other manufacturing industries. It’s interesting the way EV Fever and “Vaccine” pushing have tracked together. In particular, the way the people who took (and pushed) the drugs that weren’t “vaccines” didn’t acknowledge they were wrong (or misled) or express regret (or anger about being misled) but instead found endless ways to rationalize what they did (and pushed).
It’s the same with EVs, too.
Rather than acknowledge the numerous flaws or express anger about such things as having been misled about how far EVs actually go in real-world driving, they make excuses for their battery powered devices. It’s no big deal that the device’s range is 20-30 percent less than advertised; that it plummets in cold weather; that the battery has lost a third of its charge capacity after just seven years of driving; that it costs a third more (and rising) to insure a device because of its higher repair costs and the built-in fire risk . . .
It’s still “safe and effective,” so to speak. Like the boosters these same people continue to take, they’d buy another device in spite of the objective failings of their first device.

Last month, Republican legislators in New Hampshire introduced a bill that would ban the “intentional release” of chemicals into the air.
The legislation, called “The Clean Atmosphere Preservation Act,” prohibits “the intentional release of polluting emissions, including cloud seeding, weather modification, excessive electromagnetic radio frequency, and microwave radiation and making penalties for violation of such prohibition.”
It also provides penalties for violations.
The legislation is sponsored by Republican state Representatives Jason Gerhard (Merrimack-25) and Kelley Potenza (Strafford-19).
The representatives argue that atmospheric geoengineering harms human health, the environment, as well as their state’s economy by releasing polluting emissions:
“The general court finds that many atmospheric activities such as weather modification, stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), solar radiation modification (SRM), and other forms of geoengineering, involving the intentional release of polluting emissions, harm human health and safety, the environment, agriculture, wildlife, aviation, state security, and the economy of the state of New Hampshire,” the bill reads.

Israeli forces have set up a checkpoint 200 metres from al-Khair hospital in Khan Younis, in an area known as al-Moaskar al-Garbi. Cameras and microphones have been installed at the checkpoint, with a military zone established behind it housing investigators and an iris-scanning device.
Footage posted online shows armed Israelis standing over a group of Palestinian men dressed in white jumpsuits, sitting cross-legged on the ground in an open area in which an Israeli flag, a military vehicle and a coach can also be seen. The men are blindfolded and have their hands tied behind their back. They are unable to move.

Joe Biden has just halted all new LNG exports from the United States (https://www.rt.com/business/591337-biden-halts-lng-exports/), and this comes after the US Navy destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines feeding energy to Europe. In addition, Qatar has just announced a halting of LNG exports due to the risk of ships being damaged in the conflict between the Yemen rebels and the US Navy in the Red Sea.
As a result, Europe has lost THREE sources of LNG (Liquid Natural Gas), while at the same time Europe has largely destroyed or mothballed its own energy infrastructure in order to appease whiny Greta Thunderpants and her crybullying over climate cultism nonsense. There is a dividing line between all political persons on this earth, and that is very simple: do they talk about Jews as the underlying, dominant elite force in the United States?
The term that has been used is “name the Jew.” Thus: “I’m not sure I trust him, he seems good on the issues, but he doesn’t name the Jew.”
Personally, I have always found the term “name the Jew” to be crude and vulgar-sounding. I prefer “blame the Jews.” However, the issue is the issue: political commentators who do not talk about the Jewish stranglehold on Western civilization are of the most mild use, at best.
In recent years, a lot of my talking points from when I started this website more than a decade ago are part of the mainstream conservative narrative. This includes some hardcore issues about the ongoing attempt to destroy white people, and perhaps more importantly even, it includes talk of a global elite that controls the Western political system and does not have its best interests in mind.
Basically, every major right-wing outlet now talks about “the elite” as a hostile entity. They include in this both government and private actors, and they state that these forces are working towards an agenda loosely identified as “globalism.” Often, they actually describe the goals of this elite in terms that I sometimes find puerile or mundane, and yet I agree with the general thrust of the sentiment.
Whether you are on Fox News, Breitbart, or watching the main sponsored shows on Rumble, you find repeated: “the global elite at the World Economic Forum want us to live in pods and own nothing while we eat bugs and are sterilized and crippled by forced genetic vaccines.” I don’t take issue with that, and I think it is basically true, despite being a heavily simplified version of the actual agenda.
The problem is that none of these people can explain why these unspecific and apparently racially diverse elites want to do this. It doesn’t make immediate, obvious sense why a group of powerful people would be obsessed with driving the masses into poverty, humiliating them, and crippling them with vaccines.
This is a big problem, because immediately upon hearing that not only are powerful people doing this, but that seemingly all people with power, with a few notable exceptions, are on board with this, the very first thing people want to know is “why?” Because, frankly, it is not intuitive, in that no normal person is able to imagine doing this themselves.

I’m sure you can see exactly where all this is going.
