Correa pleaded guilty to a federal drug conspiracy charge stemming from a marijuana smuggling ring.
He got twenty-five years in a cage for selling a plant. If this plant was dangerous and had killed millions of Americans, one could potentially make the case for advocating against it. However, that is not the case at all. Marijuana has never killed anyone, yet police officers and prosecutors still viciously go after those who attempt to sell and possess it.
