Vladimir Putin's chief TV propagandist has launched into a terrifying live tirade following drone attacks on Moscow, declaring that a nuclear strike is now "inevitable" and openly calling for devastating military strikes against European nations. Vladimir Solovyov, speaking live on his morning broadcast as air defences boomed in the background, told viewers that the conflict has escalated far beyond Ukraine's borders, warning that Western nations are now facing direct retaliation.

"Good morning, dear friends," Solovyov began. "Our district is under attack. An attack is currently underway. The air defences are working and shooting them down. This is war."
