There is much speculation that Trump did not know about the Ukrainian drone attack on Russian air bases. The facts are that Pompeo, Graham and Blumenthal all were in Ukraine to meet with Zelensky just prior to the attack. The logistics involved seem improbable for Ukraine to have planned and implemented this attack without NATO assistance.

It is not much of a leap to assume that the United States greenlighted and implemented this attack under the last administration. This assumption means that Trump and Hegseth both are not in control of the government and military. Is this plausible? It would make sense since neither Trump, Vance or Hegseth has made a statement concerning the attack.

Where does that leave us if this is true? The START treaty has been violated by the United States. The United States has participated in an act of war against Russia (just as the Biden administration did by blowing up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream2 pipelines). But more importantly, it means that the Deep State is still in control. That is validated by the federal court injunctions against Trump and the lack of progress by Congress.

What options does this leave Trump? What would you do if you were the President and you came to the conclusion that you are nothing more than a figurehead? The judiciary, Congress and government/non-government agencies are under the control of the Deep State.
