 this starts pointing out things most of us already know. israel owns the media;

In many instances now the western corporate news media acts as little more than mouthpiece for Netanyahu and hard-line Zionists. What follows is a prime example.

First of all, I won’t dispute the article’s claim that Hezbollah used the UN peacekeeper’s installations as a shield behind which they dug tunnels and ammunition stores. In fact that’s entirely plausible.

However, readers will note how the Telegraph spends the first eight paragraphs spelling out Israel’s case. Before it finally admits that, yes, Israeli fire had wounded five UN peacekeepers recently.

Almost as if they were trying to make a case to justify the IDF’s actions, the Telegraph argues that Hezbollah had duped the UN peacekeepers.

Again this is entirely plausible but it doesn’t explain why Israeli tank-fire hit a UN watchtower, wounding two peacekeepers, when the target was a Hezbollah tunnel 100 metres away.

Either the gunner’s aim was so poor that he shouldn’t be a gunner. Or he was aiming for the watchtower. And unless he was targeting the watchtower, which was above ground, it’s difficult to see how that could be mistaken for an underground tunnel one hundred metre away.

In other words, it was the Israeli Defence Force doing the intimidation........more.......
