Julian Assange had been arrested 2019 for "breach of bail" which carries a maximum punishment of 12 months. Assange was then found guilty and convicted to 12 months which he served in full. He is now illegally jailed for 3 years and 4 months

The judge convicted him to 6 months in prison and if he didn't committed other offences while serving his time, he promised he will be released without serving the additional 6 months.

We have no report of Assange engaging in criminal behaviors while he served these initial 6 months. Yet he was not released.

After serving his 12 months in prison and paying for the crime he was sentence for, he was not released.

Assange is now illegally jailed for the past 3 years and 4 months.

To put this in perspective we will take as an example the case of Imran Ahmad Khan a member of Parliament in UK which had been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy and was convicted for this crime to 18 months in prison. The maximum punishment time for this crime is 10 years. After serving 9 months Imran Ahmad Khan had been released from prison and is now a free man.
