In an unprecedented move, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued a letter to a federal judge in the Southern District of New York, suggesting that Devon Archer, a business associate of Hunter Biden, be ordered to surrender and begin his term of imprisonment.

This development comes amidst Archer’s ongoing appeal and just before his scheduled testimony about the criminal activities involving the Biden crime family.

The letter requests Judge Ronnie Abrams to set a date and time for Archer to report to a facility chosen by the Bureau of Prisons.

“In light of the foregoing, the Government respectfully requests that the defendant be ordered to surrender, at a date and time determined by the Court, to a facility designated by the Bureau of Prisons to commence his term of imprisonment,” the letter read.

“The Government has conferred with counsel for the defendant about this request and asked that counsel propose a date for the defendant’s surrender,” it added.

However, Archer’s counsel responded, “Mr. Archer believes it is premature to set a report date in light of his anticipated continuing appeal as well as the newly-discovered sentencing error that the government has now conceded. Counsel for Mr. Archer will put in a response to the Government’s request by Wednesday.”

Despite this opposition, the DOJ continues to push for Archer’s surrender date to be set, as stated in the letter, “The Government disagrees with counsel’s position that a report date should not be set, and respectfully requests permission to respond to any arguments made by the defendant.”.......more........

Cops were pursuing fugitive, but blew up printing company without catching suspect.

The Institute for Justice has begun working with the owner of a small business in North Hollywood that was blown up – destroyed – by SWAT officers in pursuit of a fugitive.

And after the print shop was destroyed, the suspect got away anyway.

The IJ reports the fight has erupted because the city of Los Angeles, whose officers destroyed Carlos Pena’s NoHo Printing and Graphics store, has refused to provide any compensation.

The catastrophe developed last year when an armed fugitive fleeing U.S. marshals threw Pena out of his store and then ran in to hide out.

“The marshals then initiated a standoff before a SWAT team from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived and fired more than 30 rounds of teargas into the business. Carlos—who waited in a nearby restaurant for 13 hours as his 31-year-old business was being destroyed—estimates that the raid caused more than $60,000 in damage,” the IJ said.

His insurance carrier refused compensation because “the government” caused the massive loss.

U.S. marshals also refused, because the damage was done by the LA officers.

The city also refused.

“I couldn’t believe it when I was told that I wouldn’t be paid for the damage. The business I had worked so hard to build was completely destroyed and I was left with the bill, even though I did nothing wrong,” he said.

For trying to seal up its own borders and protect its residents, the Lone Star State could be the subject of a lawsuit if the Biden regime's threats hold weight. Texas officials want to stop the Biden regime from turning Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) into an enabling operation for coyotes to continue trafficking in women, children, and fighting-age men.

One of the things Texas is doing that the Biden regime wants to stop is the installation of floating barriers on the Rio Grande River, the purpose of which is to stop illegal invaders from swimming across from Mexico into Texas.

Biden's Department of Justice (DoJ) threatened officials in Texas with a lawsuit unless those barriers are removed immediately. Two Justice Department lawyers – Todd Kim, an assistant attorney general, and Jaime Esparza, the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Texas – wrote the following in a letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, as well as the state's interim attorney general:

"Texas's unauthorized construction of the floating barrier is a prima facie violation of the Rivers and Harbors Act. This floating barrier poses a risk to navigation, as well as public safety, in the Rio Grande River, and it presents humanitarian concerns."

"Governor Abbott's dangerous and unlawful actions are undermining our effective border enforcement plan and making it hard for CBP to do their jobs of securing the border," said White House spokesperson Abdullah Hasan in a statement.

Yes, you read that correctly: Someone named Abdullah Hasan is lecturing the state of Texas about immigration enforcement best practices.

The Biden regime is also going after Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican, over his state's construction of a barrier made of double-stacked shipping containers along parts of the U.S.-Mexico border.

According to Biden's people, the containers, located in Arizona's San Rafael Valley, exist in areas where they are an operational and environmental concern. Their construction also constitutes "trespassing on federal lands," the complaint adds.

"In installing shipping containers on National Forest System lands, Arizona has widened roads and cleared lands for staging areas ... cut down or removed scores of trees, clogged drainages, and degraded the habitat of species listed under the Endangered Species Act," a lawsuit in that state reads.

Amazingly, the Biden regime could not care less about the environmental damage being caused by the illegal invaders who are trampling across private farm land while destroying crops with their defecation and urination.

Several teens walk up to a man sitting against a wall and unleash a flurry of kicks and punches, video shared by officials shows. The man tries to get away, but more of the group step in, surrounding him, and he’s unable to escape.

At one point, the man is thrown into the air and body slammed onto the parking lot, video shows. Eventually, he’s able to escape by running into the store.

"While we never take these decisions lightly, we want to ensure that our organization continues to be set for future long-term success," Anheuser-Busch Chief Executive Brendan Whitworth said in a statement. 

Whitworth continued, "These corporate structure changes will enable our teams to focus on what we do best—brewing great beer for everyone."

The restructuring will affect corporate and marketing roles at New York, St. Louis, and Los Angeles offices. Two percent of the total workforce is roughly 380 positions. 

At the start of July, Ardagh Group, a glass bottle producer who contracts with Anheuser-Busch, said it was closing plants in North Carolina and Louisiana. You no longer see white families in corporate ads.  If a family is shown, it is a black man, white woman and mixed race children, or it is an Asian woman, white man and mixed race children. Ever since the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission created racial quotas in defiance of the statutory prohibition in the 1964 Civil Rights Act, white Americans, especially heterosexual males, have been second class citizens in law.  It has been legal for 59 years to discriminate against white heterosexual males in university admissions, employment, promotion, and protection by law.

Recently, the US Supreme Court ruled that race-based university admissions are impermissible and inconsistent with the 14th Amendment.  The ruling is a half century too late.  Discrimination against white Americans is now institutionalized.  Blacks are a small percentage of the population, but they are over-represented in positions of power.  For example, the Secretary of Defense is black. The incoming Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is black. The Superintendent of the US Air Force Academy is black, and all three agree that there are too many white officers in the US military. They have announced an official policy of discriminating against white military personnel by denying whites promotions in military rank.  This is a fact, not a “conspiracy theory.”  It could not be more clear that despite the Supreme Court’s ruling, discrimination against white Americans will continue unabated.....more........
