The Trump administration on Tuesday announced that the US government going forward will be screening immigrants for "antisemitic ideologies" when they apply to live or work in the US.

Those found to have promoted "antisemitic ideologies" or "antisemitic terrorist organizations" (i.e., Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRGC, and the rest of Israel's enemies) will have that weigh heavily against them.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services conflated "anti-Semitism" with "anti-Americanism" to try and make the policy appear more palatable.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is updating guidance in the USCIS Policy Manual regarding the factors that officers consider in certain benefit requests where an exercise of discretion is required, including factors relating to aliens’ past requests for parole and any involvement in anti-American or terrorist organizations, as well as the use of discretion in adjudication of certain benefit requests where evidence of antisemitic activity is present..........more.........
