since i have a history of writing to the local fishwrap, a friend suggested i do so on the subject of racism, black folk and all, with this result getting published;

‘Shut up racist’ is a refusal to engage or answer questions. Perhaps we should abolish whiteness.  Most all white people do it seems is insult and misuse other races, but especially African Americans. It’s time to have that conversation. I don’t do generalizations, generally. Stereotypes are based on a portion of the population so identified but are certainly not applicable to all of that group. Stereotypes are earned, not given and black victimization is the default setting.  Some people don’t grow up learning personal responsibility. 

Ghetto people isn’t race exclusive but to describe the results from lots of black outbreaks as black fatigue is now racist. We constantly hear complaints from blacks about other ethnicities, not just caucasian, all over the dominant media but the reverse isn’t permitted. Perhaps it’s because caucasians are inherently abusive, a stereotype.  Some groups are more fragile or favored than others here in the land of free speech so you can’t speak of them.  

White guilt has been running above normal levels since saint Obama. I know a guy who goes up to random black folks and apologizes for his own ancestry. Curious. It invites thoughts of experiences from years past, tracing them to today. I was in part raised by a black man and so had discovered some understandings every quaker boy wouldn’t ordinarily have. .......more..........
